They love the science behind what it is they do, and use it to heal your body. Dry needling, blading, assisting your body to move incrementally with support, even massage -- they use a wide range of tools from their expansive toolkit based on what your body needs. I especially enjoyed the explanations from Dr. Ho to my endless questions about what he was doing and why it works. His mastery of anatomy, physiology, and PT was evident every time I went. With just a few touches, Ho could pinpoint exactly where my pain was and address it appropriately. 2. The support staff is competent, helpful, and friendly. Ora and Justin were encouraging and provided excellent guidance for my exercises. Scheduling and billing was easy and pleasant. While I am not in need of PT now, I will be a client for life and will hightail it back to Rockville Physical Therapy the next time I do.

My kids like him as well. Kathryn is an office gem. Her knowledge of the body and how to get at various muscles to stretch them is amazing. I always enjoy working with her and find I learn something new every time. Chiros like any other body worker have their own unique touch. Dr. D is muscular, with an athletic build, but a gentle touch. His set up is very accurate for me and it takes little force by him to move things where they need to go, where I have had others unable to do so. He is on the quiet side but knows a lot about the body and how to treat it, beyond chiropractic.

Dr. Pollack and the rest of Proactive Chiropractic have JUST reopened up their office and pretty much as soon as I saw the email, I went to book through their *announcer voice* convenient online booking system! That's right Johnny. But for real, they are taking all of the precautions and more that you expect people who care to take. There is only one doctor on at a time, there is only one patient in the office at a time. There is one front desk associate to help you. Both the doctor and the front desk are wearing masks. There is one chair in the waiting room. As soon as you enter the office you're instructed to wash your hands. There is a sign that says please wash your hands before and after you see the doctor. The adjustment apparatus and rolly thing (technical term) is disinfected after every patient. You must wear a mask during the visit. I mean... I don't know how they could get ANY safer. And it makes me feel 100 percent comfortable visiting the office and getting my adjustment, which I was in dire need of. Dr. Pollack is as wonderful as ever. The front desk associate was as nice as a person could be. That's one of the many reasons why when anyone in my vicinity (which unfortunately hasn't been a lot of people as of recent), but if ANYONE says "My back hurts." Sometimes the adjustment relieves my pain within one session but I usually do regular maintenance appointments since my insurance covers it. About 2 years ago, I had really bad foot pain, it took several Piezowaze Therapy appointments to help finally fix it (about 6ish months of every other week appointments). And the pain hasn't come back ever since. When Hena was added to the team, it made this practice even better. Prior to Hena, Dr. Lee did dry acupuncture too but just a little bit and mostly focusing on where I tell him the problem area is. Now that Hena was added. It's not always focused on pain, sometimes if I tell her that my brain fog is particularly high that day or I'm having alot of anxiety, she is able to do certain acupuncture points that helps with that. One particular day, my anxiety level was pretty high, and whatever point she hit, I weirdly felt instantly blissed out haha. That's the first time I felt that with acupuncture. I was very relaxed that day. The blissed out feeling doesn't always happen, but I definitely trust her. She also introduced me to cupping and I am now obsessed with it. I never knew anything about it before, and it's crazy how much it actually helps relieve my back tension and how it detoxes the body. Overall happy with this practice and always look forward to coming in as a part of my self-care and health maintenance.

I started going to Kaizo in Rockville about seven months after suffering a pretty nasty concussion…read more TL;DR: They have done absolute wonders for my pain, range of motion, strength, and ability to handle light, sound, movement and other stimuli. In addition to a lot of upper neck pain (which was caused by the impact on the top of my head driving my head straight down into my neck), I was also still experiencing major sensory overwhelm in my day-to-day life. The first time I came to Kaizo, I showed up with sunglasses on and earplugs in. I made them work on me in a quiet room with limited noise and lights turned down. Now, I show up and do rehab exercises in the main area with other people, music, and conversation before going to get the chiro work from Dr. Moore. I usually leave feeling refreshed and, often, a bit taller. I've been to many chiropractors in my life. I think I've had chiropractic adjustments from ten different people, some of whom are absolutely stellar practitioners. Dr. Moore's neck and back adjustments are up there with the best of them. Where he really shines, however, is the soft tissue work. I keep telling him he needs to do workshops for massage therapists. He uses everything from thumbs to elbows to various tools to work the muscles and fascia in my neck and really support the adjustments to "stick." He finds the perfect amount of pressure for the various techniques he is using, and he doesn't overwork the muscles. I've had a couple of adjustments from Dr. Noel, and I love his work as well. Hard to believe (except by looking at him) that he is just recently fully licensed as a chiropractor. He has a skilled touch beyond his shorter experience in the field. As for Matt and Kyle, the primary Chiro Assistants who lead you in rehab exercises, they are great. They have continually been receptive to my feedback, working with me to find exercises that help me. If something is too hard for you or causes you pain, definitely speak up and they will adjust to find what works for you. This is not a "PT Mill" where they run you through the same routine over and over without really checking on you. The exercises are geared toward you and are adjusted as you are doing better or worse on any given day. Lastly, the app. I can't tell you how much I typically hate apps as part of a healing regimen. This one is the exception: 1) The clinic and admin staff are really responsive to questions in the messaging feature. 2) The exercises are actually good and come in a manageable regimen that also let you skip when you need to just do a couple. 3) They ask you, when all exercises for the day are either completed or skipped, "was this exercise too easy, just right, or too hard?" And guess what? If you say too easy or too hard, the next day you'll log on and find a new exercise in place of that one, but focusing on the same basic elements as the previous one, either in a more gentle or more rigorous way, depending. 4) Rescheduling appointments (or making new ones) through the app is extremely simple and very quick. That's all I'll say for the purposes of this review, but hopefully the length of the review itself and the time I invested in writing it are also testaments to the excellent quality of Kaizo Health Chiropractic & Rehabilitation in Rockville.
