Like most of you reading this, I was looking for a reputable company to help me get financed for a home. I thought I did my research and decided to go with Better Mortgage. Better had me approved at $460K and we selected a home. During the course of putting everything together (of course) we had some challenges to overcome but at no time (up until this point) did I feel anything was wrong. I put my Earnest money and we were on our way. While in closing, we were still getting our paperwork in order for the underwriters and our recent loan service update looked in order. Paid for inspection and appraisal. That's when everything blew up. While in closing, Better had to "rewrite" the loan TWICE and was asking for even more money down, things were looking pretty grim. I happened to ask my real estate agent if he knew of anyone that could help. Enter Tanner Bradford at Forever American Mortgage. The home was still in closing, understanding that time was not on our side, Tanner said he would do what he could to salvage the deal. It took him a day to come back and say "I think it's possible". You have no idea how relieved I was to hear that. Tanner worked his magic and as quickly as information was requested, it was produced. I completely felt that Tanner had control of the situation, Thank GOD the sellers were having issues getting out of their Solar Panel Lease (holy cow! A story for another time there). Every step of the way, Tanner was there, letting us know how everything was going. He worked hand in hand, ironing out the details with our real estate agent, by the way Matt Kimmel at Redin, is amazing!!! On the day of closing, our family let out a sigh of relief, It was over, Tanner and Matt had sealed the deal. If you take anything form this post PLEASE give Tanner Bradford and Matt Kimmel a call FIRST! You wont regret it. A personal message to both Tanner and Matt, "Our family owes you a ginormous debt of gratitude for all you have done for us, thank you for not giving up on us. We know you both went way above and beyond and it is very appreciated." read more
