Stewart helped me to get my rates down to near to 6 % from 7 %. It was the time when fed cuts the rates for the first time in September 2024. I was hesitant to refinance at that time as I thought the rates would go down again in December 2024 after Fed cuts rates second time. Stewart helped to refinance in September itself a week after the rate cuts and it was the best decision at that time. After one week of fed rate cuts in September , the rates started to rise again. I am at a loss for words. I was a former mortgage loan originator myself, and I absolutely can not remember a time I ever made one of my clients feel the way that Stewart Harris made me feel! I wholeheartedly believe he discriminated against me due to my disability. I also believe that as soon as he found out about my disability and my disability income he did absolutely nothing (that he can prove) to help me in my home purchasing process. He actually even called me asked me "how I think he felt" because he "waisted his time running my credit and getting me pre-approved because there were no homes in Arizona"! I think he was referring to the amount of financing I qualified for due to only having disability income. The biggest issue is that I actually do qualify for a loan (I was pre-approved through another lender), and there actually are homes I can afford here in Arizona! I have never felt so horrible about having a disability in my life! Then to find out this company is not even BBB accredited (according to google). I hope Stewart Harris never makes anyone else ever feel the way I do now again, and I am PRAYING I'm not a victim of fraud, as he told me I was pre-approved as well, but NEVER actually sent me or my realtor the Pre-approval letter!(allegedly). Do yourself, and all other Americans with Disabilities a favor, and find yourself another lender! I have screen shots as well of the way he spoke to me! ********************************************* Everything I am about to post from here is to be alleged: I would just like to post an update of my experience with HomePad Lending, LLC since they decided to post a false and defamatory response about me and my credit worthiness after I posted my truthful attestation of my experience with them. I have since filed several complaints against the company and loan officers Stewart Scott Harris and Ryan Scott Harris Federally with the CFPB, and at the state level with the DIFI, as they have violated MULTIPLE Federal and State level Statutes, one in which they did by discussing my personal credit profile while having identifying factors, and reporting inaccurate information about my personal credit profile and credit worthiness (ECOA). They also violated TILA, ( which they openly admited in a response to one of my complaints) and RESPA. PLEASE NOTE AS THIS IS MOST IMPORTANT! In doing my research while filing complaints, I discovered that HomePad Lending, LLC IS CURRENTLY OPERATING WITHOUT AN ACTIVE SURETY BOND, WHICH IS REQUIRED FEDERALLY TO HAVE WHILE PERFORMING BUSINESS, AND THEY DID NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SURETY BOND AT THE TIME THEY TOOK A FULL APPLICATION FROM ME. They are currently under investigation, and they (if they haven't already been ordered to) will have to immediately CEASE AND DESIST all business, as per Federal Guidlines. Also, while they now have open complaints against them from me, per Federal Guidlines they will be further investigated by the CFPB, and will have to resolve any and all open complaints I have made against them, and the CFPB will enforce the resolution(s) BEFORE HomePad Lending, LLC (NMLS #1857677) Ryan Scott Harris (#817581) and Stewart Scott Harris (#381429) will be able to purchase a new Surety Bond and/or be allowed to resume business. I will not get into all the details of the complaints, however I will detail that I have tried multiple times and multiple ways to resolve them before this, and each time I was ignored, which left me no choice. I will say, that, as always, I am open to resolving my complaint(s) against you, as long as your resolution is fair and made in good faith, and done so immediately! I would also like a formal apology, and for you to immediately delete that completely false and defamatory google review about me that you posted. I can be reached by phone or email. I had a very negative experience with this company. And I was surprised due to reading so many positive reviews. When some things are too good to be true...maybe they are. Not only did my refinance loan not close within 3 weeks...it did not close at all. A complete waste of a month of my time.. And I submitted all requested documents within a few hours after requested throughout the month. I picked Homepad Lending due to the good interest rate quoted, low cost and positive reviews. They were organized and responsive until closing. My closing was scheduled on Friday of the 4th week with an appointment with a notary. Then this is where everything went off course. I was told the lender got my interest rate confused/wrong. And the closing paperwork was not correct. The appointment with the notary was canceled ....the day before I was leaving on vacation. Homepad stated they were trying to figure out what went wrong. Then, Homepad changed the terms of the loan and padded the loan amount. Yet the interest rate was still good. I agreed to reschedule and meet with a different notary while on vacation and close my refinance loan. On the day of the 2nd scheduled signing...I was told the lender messed up again and did not have the correct paperwork. The wrong paperwork was sent to the notary. My second attempt at signing the paperwork was canceled the same hour I was scheduled to meet with notary while on vacation. I had organized my vacation day around this signing appointment. Homepad Lending asked if I could reschedule the signing for the next day...a 3rd time...while I was still on vacation. Yet before the 2nd error had been corrected and before any notary had the correct loan closing paperwork. I lost complete faith in Homepad Lending. I did not receive a phone call from Rimi to explain this 2nd error. I was not offered a solution. I was not reassured that the first 2 mistakes were corrected. I received a message from Ryan asking if I was still interested in the loan...on the day my locked interest rate expired. What loan...there was never legitimate loan closing documents presented to a notary or to me. What a waste of time....never again read more

He would also ask for extra money at closing almost every week it was something different. it made me never want to buy another house til my other loan officer rescued me from disaster.
