Listen if you know, you know!!! Low prices yet phenomenal…read morework and great customer service! I needed back brakes and after dealing with the "local" mechanic my car was getting worst! So I came to Top Auto through the recommend of my Mother in Law. I ended up paying $$ but they replaced my brakes and I've been a loyal customer ever since. They have very flexible hours opening at 7am! I literally drove up today for a oil change at 9:41am and my car is already being serviced! I have a luxury vehicle so I can't afford to play with my car. I completely trust these gentleman! Do yourself a favor!

Today was it, one of the representatives was extremely rude to me because my card would not go through the machine. He became very aggressive of my questioning, which I as a consumer, has every right to do not only did he continue with this aggressive. This is the same behavior another team member also chimed in we, as Afro, Americans need to understand if you are going to be in our community, you need to respect us.\n I do not care if you've been there for 20 years. You will not disrespect people that the community that you serve like. I told him you don't know who I am. When I left and I will never do business there again. And I recommend that the community, the black community of PG county doesn't do business there as well.

Highly Recommend Sam's Auto Service!…read more Finding an honest mechanic can feel almost impossible these days, but I can honestly say I found one. A few days ago, my 2017 Ford Edge started making a loud metal rattling noise. I had previously been told by another shop that my engine mounts needed to be replaced, so I assumed one of them had finally failed. I called my regular mechanic for an estimate, but never heard back, so I started calling other shops. After reading so many positive reviews about Sam's Auto Service, especially the ones mentioning Lopez and his honesty, I decided to give them a call. Lopez answered, gave me a fair ballpark estimate for replacing the engine mounts, explained the labor costs, and told me to bring it in. He even said that if it turned out to be the engine mounts, there was a good chance I'd have my vehicle back the same day. After inspecting my vehicle, he didn't try to sell me the repair I thought I needed. Instead, he called me and explained that my engine mounts were not the problem. The real issue was a cracked flywheel. That immediately told me I was dealing with an honest shop that diagnoses the actual problem instead of replacing parts that don't need to be replaced. Lopez sent me photos showing the cracked flywheel while it was still installed in my vehicle so I could actually see the damage for myself. I have never had another mechanic take the time to do that. Throughout the entire process, he kept me updated on everything, including when the parts arrived and the progress of the repair. That level of communication and transparency is rare these days. Before approving the repair, I did my own research on what it typically costs to replace a flywheel, and I found that Sam's estimate was very fair and competitively priced. There were no surprise charges, no pressure, and no unnecessary upselling. During the repair, they also replaced the transmission fluid since the transmission had to be removed to replace the flywheel, and they completed a front-end alignment before returning my vehicle. It's obvious they take pride in doing the job correctly instead of cutting corners. Customer service like this is hard to find. Honest work, fair pricing, excellent communication, and treating customers with respect goes a long way. One thing that really stood out to me was the trust they built throughout the process. They took the time to explain everything, showed me exactly what was wrong instead of expecting me to simply take their word for it, and made sure I understood the repair before moving forward. As someone who likes to research things before spending money, I truly appreciated that level of honesty and transparency. Without a doubt, I have found my new mechanic. Sam's Auto Service has earned my trust, and Lopez's professionalism and customer service were second to none. I'll be bringing all of my future vehicle repairs here, and I'll be recommending Sam's Auto Service to my family, friends, and anyone looking for an honest, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced mechanic. In a world where it's becoming harder to find businesses you can genuinely trust, Sam's Auto Service is one of the good ones.

Tanzania Auto Repair

Tanzania Auto Repair

SUMMARY: Top notch honest, friendly and better than fair diagnosis…read more DETAILS: I live in Arlington, VA, and was going to sell my Nissan 350Z today. I drove the car during rush hour to the buyer's bank near Largo Town Center in MD to close the deal. I couldn't believe it as my car started making a noise moments before the buyer arrived, and it turned out that the radiator fan motor was faulty and the car nearly overheated. The buyer very understandably is concerned, and decided to wait until I resolved the issue. I was fearful of trying to drive the car back to Arlington without having a shop look at the problem (and possibly repair it). I drove to nearby Tanzania Auto Repair. The mechanic took time to diagnose the problem, but unfortunately was unable to repair the car until late that day or possibly the next day. I had an appointment in Arlington soon, and he said due to the nature of the problem, it would probably be OK to drive it back as long as I was moving and not sitting in traffic (he was right). He did not charge me for the diagnosis despite spending a good amount of time helping me, and knowing that I live in Arlington it was unlikely that I'd be bringing it back to MD for repairs. If I lived nearby, this would be my first choice for auto mechanic.

Great, quality work, professional, efficient and they will get you in and out in a timely manner…read more I've had my brakes and rotors replaced as well as an oil change. Competitive rates as well. He even referred me to a family owned detailing shop around nearby for an exterior wash. I needed it! Thanks Mr. Sheriff!
