It was very rigorous and I asked her to stop because my neck was being jabbed into the face hole and it was stressing my neck more. My son said it was too hard to not have any notable benefits. I would have preferred spending time on my neck and shoulders which is why I needed a massage. This was my 15-year old athlete's first massage. He has an injured back and scoliosis and nobody asked me what he needed or any areas to avoid. He really needed someone to work on releasing the back tightness. Walking on his back was a dangerous move with his back. I was aware of the tipping and appreciated the transparency on yelp so I thought it would be more discrete, they mentioned having having envelopes. Instead the ladies were just standing there as I open my wallet. I didn't even get a chance to talk to my son about his experience. It was his first massage and it was not a good first experience. Spent $140 on both of our massages and tipped $20 each which I wouldn't have but with them both standing there I didn't want to have them split a $20 bill. I have gone to the "foot massage" places and it was similar but with private room and clothes off. But much more expensive than the "foot massages", was sad to spend $180 and feel"meh" after. I would have rather had my house cleaned or gone to a spa and use all the amenities and get a massage or pedicure. My son gave it a 3 out of 10. I would say 4 out of 10 probably because once I saw the set up I lowered my expectations. Overall disappointing experience and an expensive lesson since it was for both of us.

I was escorted to the room and Just like any other Thai Massage, you take off all our clothes except for your panties (or underwear) and lay on the massage bed with a light bedsheet over you. The room looked like a typical Thai Massage room. I had alot of tightness, knots, and soreness on my back muscles and needed strong presser for this session. Nita had the hands and strength for that. The temperature is similar to hot stones but since it's wood the heat isn't kept and the rotation of bamboos to reheat was needed. However, I did enjoy the bamboos, the shape gets in narrow or curved areas better than heated stones. The session was not entirely heated bamboo, it was mostly a Thai massage and then a session with the heated bamboos. I lost track of time - this massage was fantastic. Nita even massaged a little extra out of kindness which really made my day.
