I booked a 90-minute massage at Cloud Nine Massage for my first visit, and I'm so glad I did. I lucked out and was paired with Vivian, and she was incredible. She was amazing and somehow found every spot that needed work without me having to say much. The entire experience was relaxing from start to finish, and the 90 minutes flew by. I've been here before and had an AMAZING experience the first time, which is why we came back. The massages are still really good, and the prices are very affordable/competitive, so I totally understand why they get busy. This second visit just didn't feel as relaxing from a customer-service standpoint. My partner called ahead for a 7 PM couples massage. The owner asked if we could come at 6:30, but we already had other plans and wouldn't make it. She said 7 was fine. When we arrived, though, we were asked if we could do separate massages instead. We specifically booked a couples massage because we wanted to relax together, so we asked how long the wait would be. She said about 20 minutes, and we said we were okay with waiting. But the response made it feel like waiting wasn't really being encouraged, and we felt a little pressured to just separate. My partner agreed since we had already driven about 25 minutes and didn't want to search for another place last minute. There was also some confusion about whether my massage was 60 or 90 minutes. I had requested 90, but both the owner and then my massage therapist asked if it was 60. Thankfully, my therapist was able to accommodate the full 90 minutes, and the massage itself was great. I do think there may have been somewhat of a language barrier, so I'm trying to be understanding about some of the communication issues. At the same time, when I'm going somewhere for a massage, I really want the whole experience to feel calm and relaxing... not like I'm having to figure out whether my appointment, room, or massage length is actually what I booked. I also missed the heated bed in the couples room. The individual room I was placed in didn't have one, and that small difference definitely made it harder for me to fully unwind. Overall, I still think they give great massages for a really good price. I completely understand that being affordable and good at what you do means you're probably going to be busy. I just wish the scheduling and customer experience felt a little more organized and accommodating, so customers don't feel pressured or overlooked when they already made an appointment. Came on a Friday and had a 5:00 p.m. appointment, but we didn't get started until 5:18. They were definitely busy, so I'd recommend making an appointment and not planning to be somewhere immediately afterward, just in case. That said, we really enjoyed our 90-minute massage. They focused a lot on our shoulders and did a great job working out the knots. My masseuse, Mia, was great! The facility was clean, and overall we had a positive experience. This is an updated review as of 02/2026- After a rare, unpleasant encounter last month, I decided to give this massage parlor another chance. I called around 3:35 pm to schedule a 60 min massage with cupping for 4:30pm. The receptionist who picked up confirmed the appt time and services. However, on my drive over, the owner calls me and tells me 4:45 pm instead. Which was unfortunate because my eta was 5 minutes away, 4:20pm. Not trying to be in a bad mood, I accepted the time change; however, when I showed up, I wasn't taken back for my massage until about 4:50pm. Although I had to wait, they were apologetic and the room was thoroughly cleaned and prepared for my visit. When I arrived, the owner, Lina, greeted me and gave me a heartfelt apology for my experience at my last visit. She also went above and beyond to check in on me a few days later to make sure I was doing ok. This time, Mia was my masseuse. I enjoyed Mia's techniques and bedside manner. She always ensured I was comfortable throughout my massage session, and checked in periodically to make sure the pressure was just right. I would book my massage with Mia again. I was quoted $55 over the phone for a 60-minute foot massage. They explained they couldn't do a full foot massage with hot water soaking. Instead they offered 30 minutes of foot massage and 30 minutes of body massage, which I agreed to. Halfway through the massage, they switched massage therapists without any explanation, asking my permission, or apologizing. I've had many massages over the years, and this has never happened before. It felt very unprofessional. After the massage, when I am about to pay, another woman told me that next time the price would be $65, even though I had been quoted $55. The inconsistent pricing and lack of communication left me disappointed. The first massage therapist was excellent, and I tipped her $20 cash which was clipped under her name. I hope she will get the full amount. You never know!! I would suggest everyone to give the tips directly to the masseuse right away before they move onto the next client. read more

I was visiting the area and looking for a massage after the long drive. I decided to give this place a try. I've had many massages in the past, and this was by far the best. Nicole was incredible and knew exactly where to apply the right amount of pressure. I knew right away she's skilled. I left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. Highly recommend! I've been going to Cloud Nine Massage since they first opened, and overall I've had consistently great experiences. Lina, the owner, is always kind, professional, and welcoming. I usually leave feeling relaxed and well taken care of. Recently, I've been dealing with increased back pain, so I've been getting weekly massages for the past three weeks. Unfortunately, my experience last night was not a good one. Katherine was the massage therapist assigned to me, and despite clearly asking her to focus on specific areas of my back that were extremely painful, she continued to her own thing and particularly focused my arms, which was frustrating. I also asked her to use her thumbs instead of her arms and elbows because the pressure felt uncomfortable and not therapeutic. Rather than accommodating my request, she said she would "alternate" and told me to "just relax" in a rude and dismissive manner. This added to my stress instead of relieving it, which is the opposite of why I come in for massages. She also became combative, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. I requested a different massage therapist and Jane took over. She was wonderful, listened to my back concerns, and I felt much better afterward. The only reason I'm not giving a lower rating is because I don't believe one bad experience should outweigh all of the many positive experiences I've had at Cloud Nine. If I were rating Katherine alone, it would be a one-star experience as my experience with her was horrible! read more

I've been coming here since they first opened years ago and have always loved this place, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I'm hoping it was just a one-time issue. Three weeks in advance, I booked massages for two people for a Friday at 5:00 p.m. At 4:35 p.m. the day of our appointment, they called and told us to come at 6:00 instead. Then at 5:30 p.m., they called again and asked us to come even later. At that point, I requested a 7:00 p.m. appointment. It didn't feel like they were asking if the changes would work for us--it felt like they were simply telling us. What bothered me most was that no one apologized for the inconvenience or acknowledged the repeated schedule changes when we arrived. The massage itself was good, but there were a couple of things that took away from the experience. During my massage, the therapist had her phone out, and the screen lit up. She kept going in and out a few times which was more than normal. Also, the treatment room door was left slightly open, even after i kept looking up and her slightly closing it. That made it difficult to fully relax and didn't feel very professional. I've had many great experiences here over the years, so this was surprising. read more

I visited this business for a 90-minute massage after checking their Yelp listing, which advertised the service at $85. However, upon checkout, I was informed by the owner that the price had increased to $95. I mentioned that their website still listed the $85 rate, but she pointed to an updated menu behind the counter and declined to honor the advertised price. I had brought cash intending to cover the listed price and a tip, specifically to avoid the additional fee for using a credit card. Since the owner insisted on the higher price, I had no choice but to pay with my card and incur the extra fee. After the payment, I tipped the massage therapist $20, which I felt was fair. However, in front of the owner, the therapist openly expressed dissatisfaction with the tip and asked for more, stating that she had "pressed hard" during the session. I was surprised and uncomfortable that the owner did not intervene or discourage this behavior. I ultimately gave an additional $10, bringing the total tip to $30 on a $95 service--not including the card fee. While the massage itself was fine, the experience at checkout and the unprofessional handling of tipping left a negative impression. It's disappointing that the posted prices weren't honored and that pressure was put on me to increase a tip that was already more than 20%. Unfortunately, this experience has made me unlikely to return. Upon reviewing their Yelp account again, they still have not updated their prices. Super easy to get a midday couples massage. The rooms looked calm/peaceful and they used cloth for the headrest covers which I appreciated (some places use paper towels). The massage therapists actually had great communication in English and made sure to ask where to focus on, the pressure and checked in occasionally. They also asked if I wanted face/scalp massage when we turned over which I loved because many times masseuse's will touch your hair/face without warning. The pressure was great and any adjustments were easy to communicate. If I lived in the area I'd definitely go back! I'm glad I gave Cloud Nine a second chance. I had a much better experience this time around. The environment immediately felt more zen: no talking in the hallways, no sink noises, just soothing spa music in the background. While I could faintly hear the phone ring from a distance, it wasn't enough to disrupt the ambience. The facility was clean, and I was greeted with kindness from the moment I walked in. My massage therapist did a wonderful job checking in periodically to make sure the pressure was just right. She even asked if I wanted hot stones, and I'm so glad I said yes! It melted my soreness away. She also offered to stretch me, and after three back-to-back days of CrossFit, my body definitely needed it. Did a couple's massage with hubby. We called in the afternoon and got slotted in the evening the same day. We did 90 minutes for our first visit, but I would recommend doing 60 minutes instead. I like how thorough the massages were, but 90 minutes was just way too long in my opinion. The highlight of the massage was the hot stones. I loved how accessible they were, they were hot and ready to go. As well as the hot towels. No down time, so it was more massage time for us. The ladies that did our massages gave the right amount of pressure throughout, they checked in every now and then if everything was okay. They were extremely courteous and made sure we were comfortable. Hubby noted that the quality was better than most places we've been to. Also the oils they used is worth mentioning. It seemed high quality and I'm extremely sensitive to toxins in massage oils, and I didn't suffer an allergic reaction! That's my number one concern when seeking a massage. We decided to schedule 90 mins massages on a weekend. It was easy to call an schedule. The location was easy to get to off the freeway and tons of parking. We walked into a little lobby and was greeted by a sweet lady. The establishment is no frills but very clean and simplistic. We were introduced to the menu of services as well as any complimentary add ons since we were first time patrons. There was 3 of us and one of us was led to a room with parallel bars on the ceiling. Then 2 of us were led to a couples room that had sliding doors for individual rooms. My person was Coco. The service was timely and you get your full time. Coco did an AMAZING job. I can tell that throughout my time she was digging into my knots and tight muscles. She concentrated more on the areas she did sense that there were issues. I def appreciated that. I decided to forgo the hot stones since I didn't care for them. Coco was very firm and the pressure was more of a deep tissue which I always request and I didn't even have to say more pressure!!! The scalp massage is amazing and the stretching at the end was perfect. I can't say enough about my person and I will request her on future visits! My girlfriends also loved their experiences and this is the first time we agreed on a new place. We will def be back. I've been needing a massage for the longest time. Life has been stressful and it was way overdue! I was looking around on Yelp since I have yet to find that one spot for me so I decided to try this one out after looking around. I ended up calling the business the same day to see if they had any opening, and they did but just for a 60min full body ($60 cash + tips), $65 if you're paying with card. I was looking for a 90min but I will get that next time by calling ahead for an appointment! The ambiance of the place is very quiet and clean. I'm assuming because it's new but I hope they continue to keep it this way. I also enjoyed the room as it was very dimly lit, and had calming music. David the receptionist was very sweet when scheduling and when meeting him in person. He showed me the types of essential oils they have which was cool! Since it was my first visit, he added a complimentary oil for me. Thank you David! As for the massage itself, I had Coco. She was a sweet lady! My only concern is that I did emphasize in the beginning that I am prone to headaches and I sit a lot, making my shoulders, neck, and head hurt extra so I have asked it they could focus on it. Really?!? Yes!!! Complete score!!! This is the unicorn that I have been searching for! A 60 min massage is definitely not long enough. A 75 min massage barely cuts it. I find a 90 min massage is just long enough to not feel rushed and be able to enjoy a nice relaxing massage. So when I saw 120 min massage, I thought I have found heaven and it's at Cloud Nine! I called ahead of time to book an appointment to make sure they could accommodate a couples massage for 120 min. Walking in, the space is clean and the owner David is inviting. He greets you and explains what types of massages are offered and the different massage oils available. The couples massage room is 2 separate rooms with doors that open up to make a larger room. They have my absolute must haves! 1. The atmosphere: A warm dimly lit room - it's horrible when the room is ice cold or brightly lit! 2. Ambient relaxing music: this only helps you relax and is a must for me. You don't want a eerily quiet room or one when you can hear everything else... walking, talking and movement within the room. Bring on the calming waves or zen vibes! 3. Lastly: Heated massage table! Another must have. Right when I lay down, I want to melt into the table! You can't do that on a cold stiff massage table. Ladies are nice, understand some english and adjust the amount of pressure applied to your comfort. I've been on a hunt for a go-to massage place near PQ (this was my 4th one within the past month and a half) and I think I found the winner! The services here are effective, relaxing and so very affordable. My husband and I did a couple's massage with the promo of $75/person for a 90 min massage which included hot stones and essential oils. It's essentially two rooms that can be joined or separated by a sliding door. Just be aware that the parking lot is rather small and gets filled up quickly towards the evening. I LOVED the lady who did my massage (can't remember the name but she had short hair). She seemed very experienced and accommodated all of my needs. At other places, I feel like no matter what I say, the masseuse would just go through the full body routine, but not here! I mentioned that I work long hours in front of computer, so this lady zeroed in on all of my knots in my shoulder blades/lower back and even did some PT exercises - she did some stretching, gave advice on how to improve tension in certain areas, and was able to get a knot out of my neck that no one else was able to in the past. She also gave an amazing scalp massage as well - probably due to the fact that I tend to grind my teeth which causes pretty painful headaches. David the owner showed us around in the beginning - he's a down to earth and overall nice guy. He also has a mini fridge full of complimentary drinks (nice touch!). I can see this place blowing up in popularity in the near future. For now, I'm hoping I can squeeze in more appointments before that happens! read more

What a hidden gem! A legit massage place in Carmel Mt. The place is clean and the masseurs are nice, friendly, and professional. I'm still amazed at how petite these ladies are and how their hands can be so strong. There were numerous times that I had to tell them to stop or be gentle to this supposedly athlete. This was only at the "medium" level of deep tissue massage too. Five stars for the prices and the simplicity of this very quaint place. I was beyond grateful and happy for the $10 off an already amazing $85 price for a 90min session . My favorite thai massage place recently raised their prices to $110 for 90min so I wanted to try Cloud9 due to their much more affordable prices . David the owner is very welcoming and enjoyed giving me a tour of their new business . The lobby smells spa-wonderful and spa hotel-expensive. You can tell tell they use nice quality oils in their diffuser . I was impressed with the build out as it was organized and well thought out . The private rooms were spacious and all had their own many selections of massage oils , hot towels and stones . The foot massage room has two recliners . I loved the barn style doors to get to that room ! There's also a small steam room that is in the finishing phase . My massage girl Lisa was very kind and knowledgeable . Her English is limited but I speak mandarin so it wasn't an issue for me . The owner also uses a translator to convey to her what the client is wanting in the session . Her technique was nice but not as intense as I had hoped . That only means I'm used to super strong thai massages where they use their feet and elbows to work out knots . Lisa would be strong for someone who doesn't need or want heavy massage work on problem areas . I truly enjoyed the hot stones she used . The heat was perfect and the stones really got deeper into the knots . That was my favorite part of the session . Maybe I'd ask her to use the stones on more areas in future .
