WOW! I am *beyond* impressed with Grace and Planet Ranch Spa. Today was my first visit, and I got a trigger point massage by Grace. Grace was so great at her job and has the best energy. She immediately identified how anxious and stressed I was and got me to relax without seeming judgy. She knew exactly what my trouble points were just by touching other areas of my body, and she had fascinating stories to tell to help get my mind off the pain when addressing those troubled areas. She's also great about checking for allergies, music preferences, etc. The space felt very tranquil and was nice and clean. I first met Grace in 2023. I had a really rough week at work and my boss at the time surprised me with a spa day. I was so excited, and did some research and came across the reviews on here. The decision on going to Planet Ranch Spa came easily and boy am I glad I followed my instincts. Today was a very special day for me and I wanted to celebrate with pampering myself. I knew right away that Planet Ranch Spa was the place to be. I had a full body massage and facial with Grace. She has so much knowledge of the body and you can really feel her sincerity. Being in her presence is like being around a kindred soul. There is just something so special about her. Her energy is contagious. Grace makes you feel comfortable, makes you smile and you leave your appointments learning so much. After the two sessions I had with Grace, I was introduced to Zhidan. Zhidan provided me with my very first Shiatsu massage. I went in with an open mind and ready to learn about the process. Zhidan was very well educated in acupressure. She spoke to me the entire time, teaching me about what each area she was working on would do. She taught me about meridians and how important your emotions can affect your body. I want to be completely honest. I came in with horrible back pain. The pain where it is often hard to walk and with any little movement I felt my back could go out. Zhidan took her time and concentrated on the areas that I requested. Even when the massage was coming to an end, she asked me if I had anymore pain and I pointed to where I felt a little bit. She seriously worked magic! I left Planet Ranch Spa feeling absolutely no pain in my back and she also helped navigate and get rid of swelling. I was so impressed. I cannot wait to return as I had a life changing experience. I now know that I do not have to just power through with back pain. I left the appointments calling Grace, my "Saving Grace" and Zhidan is a true miracle worker. I would recommend the both of them to anyone and will be returning indefinitely. I normally get one or two massages a year, but have needed to treat myself more frequently in the last year. I'm happy I found this place. Grace was able to squeeze me in last second for a facial and scalp massage. I had flown into SD for a wedding and even though she was off that day, she made it happen. Grace was incredibly kind from start to finish, offering chocolates and water and asking what my needs were.
