This is a fairly new park that is adjacent to Falls lake. They have a playground area that has one side geared for 2-5 year old and next to it a play area for the 5-12 yo. Has swings, slides, climbing and even a kids zip line. Love the rubber surface for safe playing. There are 2 covered shelters for picnic or birthday parties. Great place to hike or bike with several looping trails. There is also a welcome center where you can sign up for different programs. Clean restrooms available. Only issue is the one sink had no water pressure. Our 3 yo granddaughter had a blast here and we will be back soon!

The zip line is our favorite!

Beautiful, picturesque walk to the lake! The trail was nice and flat and it's a short hike to the lake.

Clean and excellent costumer service from staff that works at this park. Nice playgrounds and walking trails. True low key local beauty.

There were two separate areas, the Lake Trail and the Waterfall Trail. The Waterfall Trail was more of a true trail, winding through the woods. The Lake Trail primarily looped around the lake. It would have been nice to have distance markers on the sign. There is a port a potty at the trailhead.

This was the perfect spot. I'm sure we probably weren't supposed to let him in the pond but it was his last day with us so we let him splash around the edge. The trails were still viable even given all the leaves had fallen. It was a really peaceful walk and we made great memories. There weren't people there at the time we went which I was thankful given our circumstances. Unfortunately it hadn't rained enough lately to produce the waterfall in the waterfall trail but we did get to see a little one on a different trail. If you walk the waterfall trail and get to the top, there's an intersection where you'll see lots of people carved their names in a tree. Stop by and look up, if you see JAX, that's in honor of my boy. Enjoy your fur babies, your children, and your own life, stop and smell the flowers. Take a walk on a sunny day and feel the sunshine in your face. We're only here for a short while.

There are also shaded turf areas with seating, which is a nice touch for parents who want to stay out of the sun while keeping an eye on the kids. A few things kept it from being a 5-star visit. The parking lot is very small, there is only one restroom for the splash pad area, and I wish there was a small gate or fence around it since it's so open. I also expected it to be a little larger than it is. Overall, it's a clean, enjoyable, and free place to cool off on a hot day. I'd definitely come back.

Great place to cool off during those summer months! There were a handful of older kids who weren't paying attention. One tumbled into my toddler on accident. They had a first aid station on site but the girl was young and didn't seem to have a clue. My toddler had a busted lip and the girl said "we can wrap it". SMH. I just took some gauze and comforted my kid.
