I hate to do this, Ramey deserves 0 stars. At first it seemed like a good inspection, now that my…read morehusband and I are living in the property that was Inspected by this company, they did a complete SLIP SHOD shod job. 1) They claimed the Breakers/Electrical panel was labeled correctly. Well, it is NOT. I went to turn off the fuse labeled 'Dryer'. And I got shocked when attempting to reconnect the wire which was hanging out of the dryer outlet. Meaning the breaker box/ panel is NOT labeled correctly. This is very concerning seeing how someone can get seriously injured. And this company couldn't take the time to test any of the breakers. 2) The kitchen sink is messing caulk and clips. That is not on the inspection. Which means they didnt brothered to look. 3) Hot and Cold water lines under the kitchen sink were not connected to the correct inlet. Which means they didn't brother to look at all. This makes me question everything else they 'checked'. They do horrible work and its messed up that we had to pay them to do faulty work. And of course how is the customer suppose to know this when we rely on them to do the job? Due to this company's slip shod job me, my husband or anyone else who performed work on this place could have been seriously injured because this company cannot and did perform and lied on the report. What a worse of money. But this company will continue to stay in business because buyers wont know how horrible or good of a job they perform until its to late.

I truly can't say enough good things about my experience with Rene and his team. From start to…read morefinish, everything was above and beyond what I expected. Whenever I take on a home project or repair, I make it a point to do my due diligence--getting multiple quotes and evaluating companies based on their thoroughness, transparency, customer experience, and ultimately, the quality of their work. Rene and his team stood out immediately and exceeded expectations in every category. The inspection alone was incredibly thorough. They took the time to walk me through everything in detail, explaining not just what they found but why it mattered and how it should be addressed. I walked away feeling much more informed and confident, which is rare. Their customer service was just as impressive. Rene and his team were extremely responsive--any questions or concerns I had were answered quickly and thoughtfully via email. What really stood out was how much Rene valued communication. He never made me feel like I was asking too many questions--in fact, he welcomed them and made me feel like a top priority throughout the entire process. And the results speak for themselves. The quality of the work was outstanding. On top of that, Rene even identified and treated additional drywood termite areas with care, without charging extra. That level of honesty and integrity is hard to come by these days. It's not easy to find companies you can genuinely trust, especially in this space where it's easy to feel taken advantage of. That's why I truly appreciate professionals like Rene and his team. They are knowledgeable, honest, and take pride in doing things the right way. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality work. This is a team that genuinely cares about their customers.

Rene was readily available and responsive to all our questions, and led his team in repairing the (shocking!) damage behind our walls, and made suggestions to avoid future damage. They took particular care in matching the trim and original 1930's paneling. They were respectful of our property and made sure to leave everything clean. so grateful for their good service.

I had a very positive experience with these David and Golden Gate Home Inspections…read more My friend asked me to help find, book, and manage a home inspection for him. He is not buying or selling, he just wants to know what needs to be fixed in his Victorian SF home. David was on time, very curtious and knowledgeable, and a nice person to chat with. He was especially happy to be doing the work for someone who really wanted to know all the potential problems, instead of for a seller that might wish there were no potential repairs. I will reach out to them to schedule a similar inspection for my mom's home.

BBB Complaint: 25332734…read more I am rejecting this response because: there are some facts that were not accurate. September 14, 2025: Report delivered to the client and his two agents only based on the business reply. The owner admitted the report was delivered to his two "agents." I do not have "two" agents. One is the seller's agent and the other is the buyer's agent. The owner admitted that the home inspection report was provided to the seller's agent without my explicit permission. In addition, I was present when the home inspector stated that he will provide the home inspection report to the seller's agent. As the business owner, it is important to take accountability for your mistakes and provide a reasonable remedy to resolve the concerns. Nothing more and nothing less. Please consider taking this as a learning lesson and reiterate to your employees to avoid and prevent questionable conduct in future home inspections. September 23, 2026: Please see attached. The letter was sent to the home owner from the HOA warning the "owner" that HOA identified the window bars listed in the picture attached that it was a fire hazard and "must" be removed by October 15, 2026. HOA is not taking responsibility to remove the window bars and the "associated cost" may be charged back to the owner. The owner is implying that they "read" and "understood" the bylaws of my HOA instead of taking accountability for their mistake to address the oversight of their home inspection. Nowhere in the home inspection report, it was noted that the window bars are a fire hazard that will be a problem that will need to be removed prior to the sale of the home. In addition, I attached pictures of two doors that cannot open or close properly that was not noted in the home inspection report. The closet door in the hallway sticks out and cannot open and close properly like a normal functioning door. Also, the bathroom door is a "death trap" that was not properly addressed and the owner sent a worker to "temporarily" alleviate the owner's concern since the worker did not bring the proper tools to fix it. The owner stated to me that during home inspections that they do not typically check doors. My expectations from a home inspection was that the company will find issues and problems that needs to be addressed prior to the buyer signing off all the paperwork. Some of the most basic problems and issues were overlooked and as the first time home buyer, I felt scammed and cheated by the home inspection company with 5 stars. It failed to meet my basic expectations of what a home inspection should find.
