I've been bringing my dress clothes for dry cleaning to Skyline Cleaners at Barracks Road for years…read morenow. I have only ever had a good experience here. The rates are fair, the clothes come out great, and they have never been late fulfilling my orders. Also the people I interact with there are always really nice and helpful. I really like their system where everything is linked to my phone number, even my preferences regarding how starched I want my shirts. I highly recommend bringing your dry cleaning to this establishment. PS. I saw another reviewer posted that dry cleaning chemicals can cause bipolar. As a scientist I found this claim dubious, and looking closely at that reviewers remarks, the article they link is an an almost decade old news article regarding leeching of certain dry cleaning chemicals into the drinking water of certain denizens in the Cape Cod region. Rest assured Skyline cleaners uses industry standard dry cleaning chemicals and practices. For your child to somehow develop bipolar they would have to actually drink water with the chemicals leeched into it, not wear a very nicely cleaned and pressed suit jacket...

Really bad service and horrible staff.

If I wanted it machine washed, I would have done it myself. It shrunk and the wool inside has felted so it feels somewhat hard. I was told by the person I bought it from that it will retain less body heat and will not absorb body moisture now. They only offered me $100, when it will cost over $400 to replace. They said it's old it's not worth that much. It's 7 years old and google says comforters should be replaced every 15-25 years. I refused the offer for $100 and the guy told me to take them to court. Then he gave me a hard time about returning the comforter to me, he was trying to keep it. Avoid!

Anyway, I had some fabric that was stored in my 90 year old grandmother's basement that I just didn't want to wash at home. Thought it'd be best not to take the years of dust and whatnot into my house. First things first.. I am not from the area so I almost drove past it. Keep an eye out for the low sign as the building is set back far from the street. The space was nice and bright when I walked in. After talking to the attendant, she guided me to the best size machine for my wash and where to load my detergent (like I said, it's been years. I wanted to do it right the first and only time). I would have preferred an actual chair to sit in while I waited, not a stool. I only sat on it for a moment then left and returned for my items. There was a sign for free wi-fi but I didn't stay long enough to see if it actually worked. Overall, the attendant was pleasant; the space was clean; the machines appeared new and in good working order; my clothes came out clean and fresh. No complaints and I will choose this laundromat if every I need to in the future.

Hisami is a true artist with a needle and thread. I brought in a couple of items that needed some serious work--to include custom jacket apparel for kids and military uniform repair. Hisami not only took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, but she also offered suggestions that made the pieces fit and look even better than I had hoped. The quality of her work is outstanding. Every stitch is precise, and the fit is perfect. You can tell she has years of experience and takes immense pride in what she does. Plus, she's incredibly kind and patient, making the whole experience a pleasure from start to finish. The turnaround time was quick, and the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the work. I left feeling like I had brand new clothes! If you want impeccable craftsmanship and personalized service, don't hesitate to visit Hisami's. I'll definitely be returning for all my future tailoring needs. Highly recommended!
