The price is decent but the food is meh. I had corned beef hash, eggs and home fries. I didn't finish it, I wasn't a fan of the taste of the potatoes or the corn beef. It wasn't terrible, just not to my liking. It's spacious in there and there is on street parking, no meters. The employees are nice and the place is clean.

First off, I walked in here in a Saturday morning a little after 8 and I was shocked that literally no one was there! I am accustomed to diners that are busy ALL weekend, so I also find it weird that they are closed on Sunday. HOWEVER, when I walked in the service was very warm and friendly. I was a little confused because you have to go up to the counter and order and pay first, so it wasn't the typical diner service. BUT that honestly just made the process of getting food so so quick, so I was happy about it. As far as the food goes, I got a 2 egg junior breakfast. The potatoes were so so (not as crispy as I'd like), but the English muffin and eggs were perfection. The coffee was bearable. But honestly the greatest thing about this place was the prices. Cheap and quick food honestly is the perfect diner vibe to me. Will be back for sure!

Life is Short! F .... It up Family, Flavor, Friends. Old school diner right in Boston no frills , just good ppl and good food. Everything was seasoned perfectly and they even did extra crispy corn beef hash right. If your in the area def worth checking out.

Good diner food! I got the 2 eggs, 2 pancakes with sausage. Pancakes were giant! There was no way I could have finished all of the food. The sausage was just alright. I probably would go with the bacon next time around. Home fries were good but nothing out of this world. There was only one person making all of the orders, so it did take quite a bit of time for our order to come out. There were plenty of tables for us to grab a spot at after placing our order. The diner was decorated with Boston-themed pieces, which was appropriate diner decor. I would go back hungry!

Been coming here for years and the food is always good! Great spot to come and eat breakfast with affordable prices. Only thing I would say is that the parking is a little rough to find a spot since the diner is on a busy street (Washington) right next to the Forest Hill train station on the orange line.

Came here on an impulse decision since it is just across the street from the bus stop. I'm so glad we did! The family that runs this diner is adorable and so friendly and welcoming. The service was great and the food was inexpensive and delicious! I had blueberry pancakes with bacon and eggs. My sister had an omelette with potatos. The coffee was also very good and not weak like many diner coffees. I would definitely eat here again.

My wife and I like to eat here, but it had been a while since we'd eaten here, so we decided to get food delivered in the middle of this pandemic. While I was going in for my first bite, I found this piece of hair cooked into the eggs. At first I thought, something might've just fallen on top of the eggs, because it looked small, but when I used my fork to pull it up, there was more to it buried in the egg.

Junior Breakfast Special - 1 egg sans toast

Easiest breakfast, ever. Convenient and cheap. I've been eyeing this place for a while - finally had the opportunity to enjoy it this morning! Nice constant flow of customers ~10:30 on a Wednesday morning - mix of sit down and take out. Plenty of seating! I got a junior breakfast special - 1 egg without the toast and it was enough for me. The homefries were really good!

I swear this is the most disgusting thing I ever witnessed with this food , I always get their breakfast but for some reason I found something in my food that looked disgusting I don't think I'd be ordering from here again , a mice tail maybe ? or a leg to some sorta insect , I found this in my home fries

    2 eggs with bacon breakfast - $6.55!

Perfectly simple! This cheap and simple diner is very straight forward. I spent a week on the road in Iceland living off bread and trail mix so I was craving a proper American diner breakfast and this place gave me just that, for under $7! I got the 2 eggs with bacon breakfast special which also came with toast, home fries and coffee. The coffee was the only thing was just "meh". I have had worse but it wasn't particularly tasty. My food came out in under 5 minutes and I scarfed it down happily. Also a note - great place for solo diners. Almost everyone in there was on their own and eating happily. Clearly they have lots of regulars.

All this plus coffee or tea for seven bucks flat.

Great food but slow service. On weekends, it's a long wait to get your food. Why do they close so early?

The was home cooked with a touch of class. You had to pick up your own food and use the condiments at the counter.

The food was ok. The person cooking (woman) the food was not wearing a mask. How is this sanitary? This is not safe for customers.

What I remember is very good, solid American breakfast and... what a surprise -- Brazilian Pão de Queijo! I can't understand why this hasn't caught on like wildfire in the U.S. (Bread baked with cheese! Come on, people!) Harry's does a version that presses it on a waffle iron, maximizing surface area so that the cheese browns slightly and gives an amazing flavor throughout. I don't see it on the online menu, but it was definitely an option on the printed menu (maybe listed as cheese-bread), not just a temporary special.

While the staff members were friendly enough, they were clearly overwhelmed. I had to ask for basics several times because the servers kept forgetting--it felt like they just couldn't keep up with the crowd. Chicken and Waffles: These were just "okay." Nothing special or worth a trip across town for. Breakfast Burrito: This was the biggest letdown. It was small and cost $17, yet came with zero sides. No home fries, nothing. It's crazy considering you can walk into almost any standard diner and get a full breakfast with sides for less than $17. If you absolutely have to try it, maybe go on a weekday when they aren't slammed, but honestly, it's not worth the money. I won't be back. Save your cash and head to a local diner instead.
