The price is decent but the food is meh. I had corned beef hash, eggs and home fries. I didn't finish it, I wasn't a fan of the taste of the potatoes or the corn beef. It wasn't terrible, just not to my liking. It's spacious in there and there is on street parking, no meters. The employees are nice and the place is clean.

First off, I walked in here in a Saturday morning a little after 8 and I was shocked that literally no one was there! I am accustomed to diners that are busy ALL weekend, so I also find it weird that they are closed on Sunday. HOWEVER, when I walked in the service was very warm and friendly. I was a little confused because you have to go up to the counter and order and pay first, so it wasn't the typical diner service. BUT that honestly just made the process of getting food so so quick, so I was happy about it. As far as the food goes, I got a 2 egg junior breakfast. The potatoes were so so (not as crispy as I'd like), but the English muffin and eggs were perfection. The coffee was bearable. But honestly the greatest thing about this place was the prices. Cheap and quick food honestly is the perfect diner vibe to me. Will be back for sure!

Life is Short! F .... It up Family, Flavor, Friends. Old school diner right in Boston no frills , just good ppl and good food. Everything was seasoned perfectly and they even did extra crispy corn beef hash right. If your in the area def worth checking out.

Good diner food! I got the 2 eggs, 2 pancakes with sausage. Pancakes were giant! There was no way I could have finished all of the food. The sausage was just alright. I probably would go with the bacon next time around. Home fries were good but nothing out of this world. There was only one person making all of the orders, so it did take quite a bit of time for our order to come out. There were plenty of tables for us to grab a spot at after placing our order. The diner was decorated with Boston-themed pieces, which was appropriate diner decor. I would go back hungry!

Been coming here for years and the food is always good! Great spot to come and eat breakfast with affordable prices. Only thing I would say is that the parking is a little rough to find a spot since the diner is on a busy street (Washington) right next to the Forest Hill train station on the orange line.

Came here on an impulse decision since it is just across the street from the bus stop. I'm so glad we did! The family that runs this diner is adorable and so friendly and welcoming. The service was great and the food was inexpensive and delicious! I had blueberry pancakes with bacon and eggs. My sister had an omelette with potatos. The coffee was also very good and not weak like many diner coffees. I would definitely eat here again.

My wife and I like to eat here, but it had been a while since we'd eaten here, so we decided to get food delivered in the middle of this pandemic. While I was going in for my first bite, I found this piece of hair cooked into the eggs. At first I thought, something might've just fallen on top of the eggs, because it looked small, but when I used my fork to pull it up, there was more to it buried in the egg.

Junior Breakfast Special - 1 egg sans toast

Easiest breakfast, ever. Convenient and cheap. I've been eyeing this place for a while - finally had the opportunity to enjoy it this morning! Nice constant flow of customers ~10:30 on a Wednesday morning - mix of sit down and take out. Plenty of seating! I got a junior breakfast special - 1 egg without the toast and it was enough for me. The homefries were really good!

I swear this is the most disgusting thing I ever witnessed with this food , I always get their breakfast but for some reason I found something in my food that looked disgusting I don't think I'd be ordering from here again , a mice tail maybe ? or a leg to some sorta insect , I found this in my home fries

    2 eggs with bacon breakfast - $6.55!

Great food but slow service. On weekends, it's a long wait to get your food. Why do they close so early?

The was home cooked with a touch of class. You had to pick up your own food and use the condiments at the counter.

The food was ok. The person cooking (woman) the food was not wearing a mask. How is this sanitary? This is not safe for customers.

I also decided to try their steak and cheese for the first time, and wow, it was hands down one of the best steak and cheese subs I've had in a long time. It was so good I completely forgot to take pictures, and if you know me, that says a lot! It had the perfect amount of steak, the extra cheese I asked for, and it was seasoned perfectly. To top it off, I called about 23 minutes before closing, and they had no problem taking my order. Great customer service, and I'll definitely be back this week for another steak and cheese.

Last week, we decided to order a whole pie online. I tracked the order and was amazed that the driver was on his way within 20 minutes of receiving the order. We asked ourselves, How is this possible? Unfortunately, the pizza arrived cold. That's how it was possible for the driver to arrive so quickly. Clearly, they sent us a pre-made pizza. Lesson learned: DON'T ORDER CLOSE TO CLOSING TIME. They probably were dying to end their shift so they sent us a cold pie. DISAPPOINTED. The pizza is good but if I return, it will be for a slice, only! I'll keep looking for the right place to order delivery from.

Well, i haven't been back to those other stores for much of anything since xD The prices are higher than you can see at a box store, but really **not significantly** if you are usually shopping organic / small batch / local products, and their selection in that regard is pretty stellar. It reminds me of what WF used to be back in the day, just much, much smaller. I have bought so many things there I never would have found elsewhere that have become staples. Pita bread, ice cream, breakfast meats, teas, chocolate, milk (of course), (surprisingly) great canned foods, marshmallows, niche snacks, APPLES, fair trade bananas that are the best I've had. The list goes on and on. Clearly they aren't impacted by the deli related reviews, and I'm so glad for it. I hope they keep on doing their thing forever.

The complex that Ula is in is super cute, there is typically plenty of parking. It's also right on the orange line, so there is easy access. Ample indoor and outdoor seating made getting a table a breeze. We ordered an iced coffee, iced latte, vegan burrito, and an Amort St sandwich. The Amory was really yummy, my partner enjoyed it. The coffees were pretty run-of-the-mill, nothing to write home about. The flavor in the latte was pretty weak. I added caramel to it as well, but it just tasted like milk; it's nice if the espresso taste or caramel flavor shines through, but it didn't deliver here. Fiore's and Third Cliff are still my go-to's for a good latte. While we waited for the burrito to come out, the chef came and told us he didn't have the necessary ingredients. He offered great replacements and made recommendations. He was super kind and honestly made our experience much better. Give that person a raise! Overall, good experience! Food was really good. We returned hoping we would have the same positive experience as the day before. When we approached the register, two employees were standing together talking. We stood directly in front of the register for about five minutes, waiting to place our order. During that time, neither employee greeted us, acknowledged our presence, or said something as simple as, "We'll be right with you." The older employee remained leaned over the counter, continuing her conversation while casually writing on the countertop instead of acknowledging us or taking our order. The younger employee looked in our direction several times, and it appeared she wanted to help us, but the conversation continued. After waiting several minutes without any acknowledgment, we decided to leave. As we were walking out, a white customer entered the bakery and was enthusiastically welcomed by the older employee with a cheerful, "Hello, welcome." That contrast was upsetting and made us feel overlooked and unwelcome. While I cannot know the employees' intentions, the difference in how we were treated left us questioning whether race played a role in our experience. It was especially disappointing because we had enjoyed our visit the day before and returned expecting the same welcoming atmosphere. No customer should feel invisible when entering a business. A simple greeting or acknowledgment would have made all the difference. I hope you will take this complaint seriously, review what occurred, and remind your staff of the importance of treating every customer with the same level of courtesy, respect, and professionalism.
