We wanted to keep our wedding in the city of San Francisco. We had planned on having some out-of-town guests and wanted them to see why we love this city so much. We looked at different venues but they were way out of our price range for what we wanted. We wanted a piano at classically warm and inviting place, that could fit 80 guests comfortably. We wanted our guests to be outside for the ceremony but inside for the reception. We wanted free parking for our guests. When I met with Jeanette, I immediately felt warmth and class beaming from her. She portrays as a friend that you have known and loved for a long time. I had to bring my other half to see the venue and her. After he met her and saw the place, we put down the deposit. She was always available for us and ready to answer our many questions. We were treated so exquisitely regal. The day of the wedding went so smooth. Our guests were happy and so were we. You will not be disappointed if you book your event here!

Our daughter's wedding reception was at this venue and in April 2015 and absolutely everything worked out perfectly. (Including the weather!) We also hired Janette as the event planner and it was money well spent. We were able to enjoy the day and not have to worry about the set up, deliveries, take down, or clean up. The crew she employed as servers were all brothers and extremely courteous and timely with the re arrangement from wedding to reception. We had about 85 people and it was the perfect sized venue for indoor seating. We never felt crowded nor "caverness". Highly recommend!

Nice job venue, fancy neighborhood. We went to see a classical music performance, and got street parking outside. Everything is clean, great gardens too. Nothing much to say beyond that ;-)

Nice venue for parties. Bernard Maybeck designed it. The party was hosted by a group affiliated with the Art Museums of SF.

Booking the spot was easy. After I messaged Maria, she was quick to confirm that our date was available. (We booked 3 months in advance.) The booking and payment/deposit process was also straight forward. Really appreciate the easy process. As for the space, it can fit up to 50 people for a luncheon comfortably. One restroom; back room for extra tables and that's where our caterer stayed during our event. (Which btw I booked after seeing them featured on A Venue's Instagram post.) Maria and team had setup the tables, chairs, table covers and the balloon backdrop (extra charge) for us. The place was also so clean when we arrived! We booked this spot for a bday surprise family luncheon and it was perfect for our family! Can't wait to book again!

Save your $90 and just clean yourself. If i would've know i would've just cleaned up all by myself. The air conditioning does not work, i was told it took a while to work. all day i tried to get it to work my guest were sweating. The rental for small jump house is $150 that's half of the price of one, the least they can do is clean it or buy a new one. That thing was DIRTY. Very unpleased with the results, I could not wait to go home, my $1k+ rental was not worth it...

It's close to my house, walking 10-15 mins but we drove today because it's HOT! They have 'public' restroom but it's locked ... They added a new work out court. It's great BUT I dislike they decided to place it so close by the sidewalk and street.

We went here quite, a bit, growing up. (I also remember that there were giveaways to the community, as there was a long line, that extended to the parking lot.) Small- but I suppose if you compare it to the other smaller parks in the area, it's more like medium, there was a really tiny one up the street (*it's more long, than it is wide*- to give a better description), but it is open, there was lots of grass, but the most popular spot was the basketball courts which were always packed with boys playing basketball. I remember the playground was small, but to kids, a playground is a playground, right? I don't remember the shady types that the other reviewers mentioned, but things might've changed, also, it's not surprising that people would meet up at a place that is free- it's always been like that.
