Jason has cared for, repaired, and modified my 2002 Porsche Boxster S for many years - beginning with his gig at another Buckhead Porsche-specialized shop, and now at his and Leonard's own garage. With an older car, even a Porsche, things do go wrong from time to time. I'm not parting with my car, so I look for the silver lining in the inevitable problems. With each repair, I ask Jason about options for aftermarket replacement parts, or taking advantage of labor savings resulting from his needing to have the car in various states of disassembly, all this to add response, power, or agility. After many years, the result is an increasingly elderly Porsche that runs and sounds like something you simply cannot imagine. I don't know how many horsepower I'm presently running, but it is certainly well north of 300 (originally just under 250). And the added torque has transformed the car. And you've simply got to see their "new" place to believe it. A "Back to the Future" type arrangement if there ever was one. It looks like it's out of the late 40's, like because it's shared with a classic Rolls Royce / Bentley / any British car guru who works at the opposite end of the garage. However, despite the vintage look of their digs, there's nothing vintage about their approach to performance. When it comes to motors, chassis and speed sense, no one bests Jason and Leonard. I have been searching for a place to take my Porsche Cayenne S for repairs, after having the driveshaft replaced both back and front I was still having issues. Every shop I went to came up with an issue that was not so. Finally I found a shop to give me the correct diagnosis and the hunt was on. I found Foremost Speed Shop by faith. I met Jason after many years of having my Porsche serviced at the Porsche dealership where the car was purchased new in 2002. He was the lead mechanic at another German-centric garage. After the owner returned to Germany to resume his interest in owning and managing Porsche racing teams, Jason started his own shop - Foremost Speed - and took Leonard with him. Phil joined Jason's team soon after. Jason is a master mechanic, and after all this time I can comfortably call him a friend. He maintains my car in pristine condition, always mindful of what's going on beneath the Guards Red skin. Jason was able to repair my speedometer not working in my boxster by using a used abs module I supplied and disconnecting the module from the pump using a specialty tool he owns saving bleeding the entire brake system. SAved me big bucks over replacing entire module with a new unit which most other shops would have required. THANK YOU! read more
