We're always on the look out for Hobby Stores on our travels and this one popped up in a random…read moresearch. Its hard to miss it, there's a HUGE train outside with the store name on it. It reminded me of the old school train shops my dad, uncle, and grandad always took me too as a kid. There's a HUGE variety of model trains, scenery, paints, parts, you'd be hard pressed to not find something you need here. The owner greeted us warmly, mentioned a sale they had going on and said to ask him if we needed anything. Besides trains he also had a decent stock of model planes and cars, a few Star Trek models from the 80s but again, the bulk of his stock is trains. We were in the market for Gunpla models and sadly he didn't stock those but I will be telling my uncle about this place when he needs supplies for his trains. A great small business to stop in if you're looking for model trains and parts and want to support local businesses. Owner is very knowledgeable and friendly, willing to go that extra mile to help find what you need.

The store is oriented more towards R/C interests. They did have a nice inventory of Tamiya paints and modeling supplies and I was able to pick up a few needed items. among those. They do stock plastic model kits. Civilian and military vehicles predominate in the inventory. There are a few aircraft and warships. Overall, for my interests a store for paints and tools, but not for kits.

They have several interesting and somewhat unique elements that I've not encountered at other hobby shops: (1) They have constructed a steep rock adorned grade to radio controlled cars and trucks to attempt to navigate; (2) They have a long dedicated drag strip for side-by-side drag strip racing; (3) There is a large oval slot car track in the back for slot car racing. Not sure what the size/gauge cars the track is for. It's clearly for larger than AFC style/size cars. Looked to see what they had in the way of O-gauge train cars. A one stop shop for all your D&D, Warhammer, Magic, and board game supplies. You can enter on the left side which is the retail store and if you go to the right by the cashiers they have a whole area set up for games with snacks and drinks. We picked up some D&D Supplies and my husband reminisced about his Magic days with the cashier. Both men at the registers were very nice and asked what games we were into and made recommendations on other mech we might like. Their selection is pretty vast and seems on par price wise with other stores in the area and online. They also had an area you could play test games and we saw people and families of all ages enjoying shopping and testing the games on display. The new store on Wesley Drive is HUGE. It might be a little hard to find but its located on the right corner of the plaza with the Peppermill restaurant, to the side/back of McDonalds. Parking can get a bit nutty and limited on weekends so just keep that in mind.
