Creme brûlée latte
Laura O.

Creme brûlée has long been one of my favorite desserts, so I was super excited to try the iced creme brulatte here. It was really good (though at $13 and change it was probably a one-and-done experience for me). The little caramelized bits of sugar on top are so tasty! The latte itself isn't really sweetened, but I mixed the mascarpone topping into the rest of the drink, which gave it some sweetness and a thicker, more velvety texture. I came on a weekday afternoon and there were some customers waiting for drinks, but there was almost no line. The interior is small and it's a little tricky to find a place to stand while you're waiting. There's also only one table inside, but there is a large concrete slab that people can sit on outside if it's nice out. 3.5 stars rounded up.

This place lives up to its reputation. I had gotten recommendations to give this shop a try, and I'm very glad I did. There was a quick line ~10 minutes, but the drinks were made in under 5 minutes. I got the lavender matcha with a cloud and it was delightful. The matcha was fragrant and the lavender sealed the deal. The cloud was made of heavy whipping cream and vanilla, and added a bit more sweetness to the matcha. The drink was not too sweet overall, which I prefer. There is not much seating, so it's not a great place to study or hangout. But it is great if you want to grab a drink and head out fast. The staff were really friendly and offer recs if you are feeling indecisive. The matcha is a bit pricier compared to 12 Matcha, but if you don't want to wait in their line this is a worthy alternative.

The pictures don't do it justice! The infamous foreigner crème brûlée matcha. It was great! I wish the matcha was a little sweet because I have a sweet toothe and love dessert drinks. The staff were phenomenal. They were so attentive going out of the way to offer us water as we waited for our drinks. The location is small. Be prepared to grab a drink and sit outside.

Banana pudding latte

A very solid 4.3 stars! Man, ppl were not exaggerating about this place being small. Legit only 1 table. lol..modern/clean/minimal clean vibes. I went on a specific mission for the banana pudding latte. I was prepared to be let down & say eff these influencers. First, banana flavored items tend to be so artificial tasting! Yuck. Second, I was adding an extra shot. A lot of places mess this up & it tends to lose flavor of the original drink. Needless to say, I expressed this to the guy on register. He (gay guy) asks the barista (maybe Latina w/black hair) about my request & she says of course, no problem. Let me mind you this was over $13...damn near sweating for 3min waiting. I take a sip,...whyyyyy God ?! It was soooo GOOD. But that price tag..it hurts a little...I will DEF go back when I want to treat myself. The guy on register was joking saying all 3 were the starting 3 of the Knicks in coffee. Great & friendly customer service. They def felt my vibe! Praying it's consistently this good for future visits. Highly recommend for your delicious banana needs (since that's all the can vouch for).

Pistachio Foam Latte

The pistachio foam latte was pretty good, but definitely very pricey - $10 for a pretty standard latte. There's also only one small table inside with two chairs, pretty much no indoor seating. They do have a nice cement thing right outside with some seating and 3 tables for Foreigner customers only - great if the weather is nice outside. The service was pretty standard.

Crème Brulatte

Hands down one of my favorite lattes that I've had in NYC!! The staff made sure to take their time getting the crème brûlée top just right. The coffee shop itself is very cute but small with limited seating.

I didn't know this existed so close to my office until I saw some IG Foodie account post about it! It's a little pricey depending on what you order but that's just NYC specialty coffee for ya. I've been here twice now and have tried the Creme Brûlée latte and the Banana pudding latte. It also helps that the baristas are super nice and know how to make these drinks fast!

Here's the thing, this place gives off snooty cafe in the best way possible. Inside is stone and glass. The baristas talk to you in monotone, there's a few fancy specials on the wall and that's it. And I love it. I ended up ordering the Crème Brulatte and although pricey, it definitely is as described. It's a not too sweet latte with a thick, custard cold foam and complete with torched sugar. An absolute mess to drink, but well worth the trek!

Strawberry Matcha with Oatmilk

Delicious, authentic and great quality ! Small hole in the wall cafe. Fast service. Great spot for a quick pick-me-up! They also have some pastries as well

I've had this coffee shop on my list based on previous social media posts. It's a small open space with outdoor bench like seating with one table inside. I went around 12pm lunch time and there was quite a crowd. I always ask the cashier their best + favorite drink and was sold on the cloud latte.

Strawberry matcha latte

I had the BEST hot strawberry matcha latte here. I made the mistake of not drinking water for several hours after I had it so I couldn't fall asleep for an hour but lesson learned. I would 100% go back to get this again. I always get an iced version because the idea of strawberries in a hot drink doesn't sound appealing, but the flavor of this was incredible!!! It's quite small inside but there was one table for two that was free. There's also baked goods available although I didn't try any.

Tried the famous creme brûlée latte and it was good! The custard on top is what makes it delicious. It needs to be mixed well to enjoy it without being too bitter. It's a small space so very minimal seating. Definitely not a space to work in. Ordering was easy and our drinks came shortly after. I'd definitely come back and get this drink again!

Saw several people on social media really enjoy Foreigner & claiming it is the best coffee in New York. The jury is still out on this one for me. I got one of the specialty lattes (baklava latte) and it really did not have any resemblance to baklava to me. None of the notes came through. Wasn't bad and would give it another shot if I'm in the neighborhood.

We worked with Eric via email and he was great managing and making sure everything was settled ahead of the event. On the day of our lunch, we arrived around 20 minutes early and the table was already set up. We had two servers throughout the meal and they were lovely. They made sure everything was set up and we had everything we needed. For a large group reservation, they have a $60 minimum and you order everything ahead of time. (The afternoon tea set is mandatory for everyone to get). We had the afternoon tea set, caprese tarts and strawberry parfait for all attendees. The food was filling and tasty. Tea is always so good as well (I always get my Rose Lovers Milk Tea!) All in all, a great option for a group reservation in the city!

The size of both were the perfect amount since we just wanted something small to end the night. The ube crepe cake was really light and creamy. The ube flavor was pretty subtle, and I mostly tasted the cream. It's a perfect light dessert, but I would've liked the ube flavor to be stronger. The chocolate lava cake was super rich and decadent but also really delicious. I feel like it kinda battled with the ube crepe cake since they're total opposites. The staff were friendly. The interior was really cute and had a relaxing type of atmosphere that made it great for a nice place to sit, chat, and have dessert.

Favorite korean shaved ice spot in NYC! Very aesthetically pleasing interior with a lot of seating…read moreboth on the first and second floor, but can get very busy during peak hours. They have a wide variety of uniquely yummy Korean desserts, during my trips here most notably the Korean shaved ice. Very finely fluffy shaven ice which comes in two different sizes depending what flavor you pick (cup vs regular), each with a different topping/sauce combo. The strawberry one includes fresh strawberries and a strawberry jam drizzle that is just the right amount of sweetness--not too sweet. Also tried the ube which had mochi bits at the bottom, w/a deep flavor of ube drizzle that was yummy. This spot is pricey, which comes with the location yes, but do I think it's worth it? Yes. Would I bring friends out of town here? Yes. I've tried many many shaved ice dessert spots, and Seoul Sweets does an incredible job with the flavor combos and getting that perfectly soft, finely shaven, fluffy shaved ice (my preference: generally icy, hard shaved ice is no no imo for me) What I've Ordered Here Before: - Strawberry Shaved Ice - Ube Shaved Ice - Korean Donut Pastry

Not to mention the insane 20+ price tag for such small portion. The place is pretty and has a lot of seatings though.
