Rita is wonderful - she always remembers exactly how I like my sandwich. Last time I ordered a 12" hoagie but got an 8" because I usually order the 8" (and their 8" is HUGE!). When she realized the mistake, she offered a refund. I declined, so she gave me an 8" to go instead. Honest, friendly people, great food, and amazing service. Highly recommend!

This is actually a food truck, which is parked on the side of the Tipsy Catcus, which is a really cool brewery I also checked out while I was waiting for my order. I ordered the original cheesesteak with the white cheese and whiz cheese combo (I tried to order my usual provolone, but they don't offer provolone as one of the cheese choices) and the fried mushrooms. I was the only person who pulled up around six P.M. and because this was on a Wednesday night, not a Friday night, hence the low traffic. But service was really good. The young lady who helped me out was prompt, explained everything and gave me a pager, which allowed me to go inside the brewery while I waited. One thing to note, while I was talking to the owner of the tipsy cactus, he told me that Friday night and Saturday nights are usually popping. So I wouldn't expect to be first in line on any of those nights. It also looks like they rotate food trucks on different nights, so don't assume that the cheesesteak truck is going to be here every night. I would check the tipsy cactus website, or Instagram page to be sure. It took about 15 minutes for them to complete my order and when I got it home and I dug in. I was really satisfied as the food was super good. Cheesesteak was on point with the prime rib being top quality, and the fried mushrooms were well done, juicy, with a really good homemade sauce that they packed in with my order. I almost forgot about the churro I ordered. And I forgot about it because I accidentally left it in the bag in the car and didn't eat it until the next day. It didn't matter. A short blast in the microwave and this thing was killa. I'll definitely be looking forward to checking this place out again in the future.

The beef quality sub par: Lack of flavor and weird mealy grind that has some inedible chunks in it. It seems like bargain food service ground beef. I know ingredients cost is out of control especially for beef, but for $17+ a burger I expect to be able to define the cook I want with some type of local beef, a good blend like chuck + brisket, or wagyu. You can head over to Four Peaks, AZ Wilderness, Ghost Ranch, Bad Jimmy's and many other spots nearby and get a far superior burger in the same price range. In fact, I think almost any sports bar nearby probably makes a better burger. If they sorted out their burger game this place would be a 4.5. Brew's, you can do better.

Most likely one of the worst customer service experiences in my life. My family and i ordered about 100 dollars worth of food from this establishment. They packed it to go when we expected to eat inside (nothing said prior to ordering). So we left the dining area and went to eat outside. 3 minutes after we sat down outside, a gentleman that worked for the establishment with green hair then goes out of his way to come out of the back and around the side of the building to tell us we need to leave the outdoor dining area, immediately threatening to call the cops. Great problem resolution. So my family got to eat outside while the cops watched my 6 year old and 12 year old scarf down their food while the staff were inside laughing and joking around about the whole situation. I purposefully do not do business with companies that treat their customers like this. read more

(I have been coming to Forefathers for more than a decade and a half and have never had the chicken.
