I first tried this restaurant in 2020 when we were celebrating birthdays for my sister and my aunt, and we loved it, so I suggested that we return again this year. It's a 2 hour drive for me or I would come more often. We had chicken nachos for an appetizer and they were the best nachos I have ever had (everyone in our party of 5 loved the nachos). The steaks my mom and I ordered were not cooked correctly. I had mine redone but my mom didn't want to bother. When they returned with my newly made steak, my mom said she wished that she had sent hers back. My replacement steak tasted great! I had the jalapeño cream corn and truffle fries as my sides and they were absolutely delicious. My sister said that her Monte Cristo sandwich was just "okay." My aunt said her ribs were really good and my other sister said that her burger was really good. Lacey was our server and she did a phenomenal job. She was very attentive and after talking about the birthdays in our group, we learned that she is celebrating her birthday today. Happy Birthday again to Lacey! She brought a sundae for my sister and for my aunt who were celebrating birthdays. We loved the decor in the restaurant with the tires for sinks in the restroom. Took a group of Seniors for work and had a great time. They were very accommodating allowing me to reserve way in advance for a large party and were helpful when I had to change my reservation. Had never been before but always wanted to try it had heard great things. The great things were true! Great ambiance and decor. Super cool with all the old car and old Ford Motor stuff. My colleague chose this place for a team dinner and we came on a Tuesday and were able to be seated quickly. Our waiter was patient with us while we figured out what we wanted to drink. I started off with a peanut butter porter which was delicious! I was just happy that they had some dark beer on the menu! We ordered some appetizers, including the onion rings, which were tasty, but I had a hard time finding something on the menu that wasn't going to be heavy and greasy for my entree. I don't often order burgers so I went with the patty melt and asked if they could throw some of the blue cheese crumbles on top. When my dinner arrived I saw they had smothered the entire thing with a thick, melted layer of blue cheese and it was so hard to eat. I really love blue cheese, but man it was hard to eat and I couldn't taste anything else besides blue cheese. The french fries were really good though and my colleagues liked their dinners. I enjoyed the fun atmosphere of the restaurant and will have to come back and try something else. read more

Yes! When you have over a thousand reviews and still have 4 1/2 stars you are doing something right. Was skeptical at first because I'm not a sports bar kinda guy. No matter this place was delicious! We tried the Estate Burger and the Meatloaf Dinner. The Estate has so juicy with a hint of truffle and the fries were crispy and hot. We ordered Meatloaf dinner with smashed potatoes and creamed corn. The meatloaf was so tender and full of flavor, a perfect blend of ground meats with the most delicious light gravy, the creamed corn was more like a corn chowder with crispy rings of onions and jalapeños, be sure to ask for a spoon. Great service; fast and friendly. Im surprised this isn't a chain because if there was one closer to me I'd prob crave it once a week. read more

I was last here over two years ago, and I'm happy to report that it's exactly the way I remembered it. Before you walk in the door, the multiple Model A cars parked out front will widen your eyes. Walking inside, the presence of automotive artifacts is unavoidable. But, once you get past all that, what remains is an excellent restaurant with hearty food. There are some healthy things on the menu, sure, but you might want to put your diet on hold after you see the menu. The pulled pork mac & cheese is absurdly rich. You'll want to savor every bite. Even without the pulled pork, it's an excellent plate, but the pork makes it a meal. The fish and chips are massive, it looks like a whole cod lept into the fryer and they fried it up. Bad move, fishy. No, there's no head or tail here, but the fish is massive, and delicately crisp. I've had burgers here many times, and you really can't go wrong. My son loved his. But, I went with the Smoked Brisket Burnt Ends Melt. This is a nice, beefy brisket bomb, and it's hard to tell that there's a bacon jam or cheese because there's so much brisket. Not a criticism, but just an observation. Having it with normal sized white toast puts the focus on the meat, and doesn't let the bread get in the way. And, whenever tater tots are available, I get them, even though I know the fries here are excellent. These are excellent tots, too. The drink selection is great, too, and the service today was excellent. Plus, prices are reasonable for what you get. My 2+ year absence wasn't because I didn't like it: I used to work in Dearborn, and Ford had had me working from home since then. It seems that I need to drive out this way more often. read more

Great place to have some comfort food in a nice setting laced with history. This place has a ton of TVs making it good to hang out to watch a game, enjoy a variety of beers and have a meal. I had never been here and since I decided to meet a friend than I made this my choice. I have always wanted to check this place out. It is located off of Michigan ave and it is not hard to find. There is also plenty of parking. I was greeted quickly and seated pretty quick as well. The place is pretty laid back and casual. There is nastalgic ford items and stuff you can buy. The waitress (Laura) was pretty friendly and attentive. She also offered suggestions. I ended up getting the fire shrimp and a salad. The shrimp was good but not the best fire shrimp I have had but good. The salad was also good. It was interesting when I heard an Old School horn in the place. This is the way folks birthdays are advertised. Pretty interesting and awesome. They have a great menu here so I definitely plan on coming back and trying more. read more

Made a reservation a week in advance requesting a booth for our party- led us to a table and offered to get us a booth if we waited another 30 minutes. We had an event after the dinner so we had to live with their mistake- a table in line with the bathroom where people bumped into us the entire meal. From what we could see the majority of the dining room is tables jammed together- super noisy and impossible to carry on an intimate conversation, it is a garage though so our expectations may have been high. The food was decent but honestly we make better food at home- Henry Chicken- overcooked chicken, goat cheese was sparse and only on one piece if chicken. Pulled pork Mac and cheese- pork portion was small and it was more noodles than meat. Ahi tuna appetizer was good but really not keeping with the theme of the Restaurant. Bathrooms were disgusting- nice design but lost their luster being filthy. The best thing about our meal was the service- our server was attentive and engaging. My group of 7 came here for dinner on a Thursday evening. We called ahead to make a reservation and were seated promptly when we arrived. The place was busy, so making a reservation is definitely the way to go. The menu offers a nice variety - from salads and sandwiches to seafood and steak. Everyone in our group was able to find something they liked. I went with the salmon, $19.99. The entree came with an 8 oz. salmon with a Chardonnay lemon butter sauce and choice of two sides. I picked green beans and broccoli for my sides. The salmon was seasoned and cooked well. I would recommend it! Our server was pleasant and attentive throughout. He didn't miss a step. We travel to Michigan twice a year for hockey and have never come across this place. Luckily we stumbled on this place while visiting museum. Very cool atmosphere. There was great music, and hockey or sports on most the TVs throughout. They had a great beer collection at pretty decent prices and the food was great. Our waitress was on top of everything, drinks never got empty. Couldn't face asked for a better place to have lunch before heading back to California. Brisket on toasted bread was sparse & not particularly appetizing for the cost/brisket ratio. Fries were good. I would return, as other's dishes appeared more appetizing. Tips: * Jump-start the fun by ordering fries or truffle fries immediately then peruse the menu. * Make a pit stop at the restroom even if you don't need to. * Consider a reservation no matter when you plan to dine. Found my new go-to spot for meet-up with local friends or dinner with relatives and fiends who come to visit from out of state. Maybe a bit kitschy for some, but I think it's just right and well done. I mean, the burgers would be just as delicious if they weren't stamped with the Ford logo, but the logo makes it special and fun. I had the Estate Burger with smoked Gouda, sweet red onion marmalade and fried onion straws for a little extra crunch and flavor. Just thinking about it now makes me want to go back! Fries as a starter were great but I believe next time (and oh yeah, there WILL be a next time) I'll skip the starter and maybe bring half the burger home (if I can stop eating long enough to box it) so I'll have room for one of the incredible desserts like the Carmel Apple Cookie Skillet. Burgers not your thing?
