Cashew Bowl

Very quaint salad grab and go place! It gets busy during lunch time so beware however service was very fast. I got the cashew bowl and added chicken for higher protein. This is a place where all protein is an added cost, as a heads up. Pretty good portion size. Wish the chicken was a bigger size. Cookie was super yummy! Had a variety of fun drinks to choose from.

Love this for a quick bite. Food is fresh and fast and staff is friendly. Clean space as well. The Thai bowl with chicken is incredible.

I ordered the Fiesta Bowl which includes black rice, local corn, poblano cabbage, cheddar cheese, black bean spread, house pico de gallo, cilantro, and salsa roja. I added shredded chicken, extra salsa roja, and avocado. This is was a great and filling bowl. Every time I go to Forage this is what I order. It's made to order and very fresh. It also comes with bread and tortilla chips This selection is always 10/10. I would also recommend their fresh lemonade and sign up for their rewards.

Awesome healthy super vegan/vegetarian friendly quick serve place - fully customizable. Plentiful outdoor seating. Lovely place to people watch at Hilldale.

I stopped in for lunch today. There was no wait and was served delicious food in no time. When in Madison, put Forage Kitchen on one of your lunch stops.

Whether in takeout, dine in, or delivery, the quality of Forage Kitchen is exactly the same. They take pride in using fresh ingredients and makes eating healthy easy. I 100% agree. If I'm craving healthy lunch or salad, I immediately think of Forage. I'm usually gravitate towards the warm bowls and my favorites have been mole bowl. The mole has such a nice spice and slight smokiness to it. Pairs really well with the quinoa and add on the lentil balls. For me, I can easily parse this out into 2 separate meals if I add my own greens, it is that filling and super delicious. My favorite salad is the batatas rancheros and a huge reason of that is the salsa rojo dressing. The dressing is so good, I could put it on everything. The snap of the romaine as well as the sweet potatoes and then some typical fiesta bowl toppings, it is an amazing blend. Lastly, if you're thirsty, I would recommend the tropical kombucha. And then if you really have more room, get the oatmeal cookies. They are tasty too.

I ate the Thai Cashew bowl with Salmon. It came with a ton of salmon. I thought it was delicious. I will be back.

I love their Thai bowl so I eat here about twice a week. For the quality of food and the nutritional value, it's relatively a steal.

The food used to be really good. Now it seems like the quality has decreased and prices have increased. Doesn't seem worth the prices.

I was so torn between the different options! Everything was so clean on the inside and all of the food was so fresh! Definitely a modern place! I finally decided on the buffalo chicken bowl called Bold & Buffalo. It has brown rice, arugula, buffalo chicken, carrots, radicchio, white cheddar, roasted cauliflower, croutons**, & ranch dressing. It was definitely a party in my mouth and my soul was happy! It was so good I immediately thought, if I had the money I'd open up a C&G in my city! I was so pleased. The only disappointing thing about this place is that they don't have one in my city!!! Lol! I'm a huge CG fan now!!!

It's nice to have an option for fresh and healthy food in the area. I was debating between a 3 and…read more4 star review, and that fact is what pushed me over to the 4 stars. I came here with a small group and we went in to order at staggered times since we sat outside with some of our pups. It wasn't crazy busy or crowded, but it took forever to get our food. At one point we were worried something happened and felt like maybe we should go check on the people ordering inside. I ordered the Wild Child bowl, and while it was good, the flavoring was overall just kinda bland -- not bad, just bland. I still happily ate it all, but there are other options in the area with similar food concepts and I might go there instead given the option. Still, if in the area, I would definitely order from here again.

We made a 12:00 PM reservation, which was definitely necessary because the place was full. Right off the bat, our server asked if anyone had food allergies or dietary restrictions. When I mentioned I have celiac disease, he confidently assured me they could absolutely accommodate it, which immediately gave me peace of mind. I ordered a strawberry spritz and we shared the gluten-free donuts to start. A huge win for the celiac community is that they have a dedicated fryer, so we also safely shared the truffle fries. For our main entrees, I had the fried rice which was excellent. My husband ordered the skirt steak hash with gluten-free toast and loved it, though it is worth noting for others that it packs quite a lot of spice. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive regarding the allergy protocols. The overall service ran a little slow, but it was understandable given how slammed they were for the Sunday rush. As an added bonus, the restaurant has its own parking lot, making the logistics seamless. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this spot, especially fellow celiacs looking for a safe and delicious meal!

A solid 3 stars…read more Arrived around 1130am on a gorgeous Saturday. The parking lot was full, which is a great sign. I was able to easily find a spot at the bar, another great sign. The bartenders were personable and competent (I watched them deftly make multiple drinks at once). The space is large and well lit, and the outdoor seating looked nice. I'm sure it's a vibe when the temps are a little warmer. I ordered 2 drinks. Haley's Comet - tasty, albeit a little sweet for me. Call Her Daddy - def my favorite, better balanced imo. I ordered the brunch fried rice and it was a letdown. It was advertised as having bacon and there was none to be found. The food was not hot, leaning towards cold. Like it had been sitting out. Oddly the poached egg was perfect. The rice itself was clumped, as if they didn't use dried out rice (what I'm used to for fried rice) As a rule, I tend not to send food back, so I ate the shrimp and let it be what it was. I was sorely disappointed though. I saw people ordering the brunch burger and honestly that looked way better than what I ordered. I'd be willing to give it another go, as the service and drinks were lovely
