Casual warm bowls for clean living. This lunch place has you covered when you want something hearty but not heavy. The bowls use simple ingredients for a mild but hearty meal. I ordered a power bowl, with the dressing on the side and added tofu. It was effectively a large bowl of black rice -- a meal unto itself -- topped with slightly chilled vegetables. The guacamole and slaw that came on it were crisp, and they mixed into the rice to give it a texture both smooth and crunchy. On the other hand the sweet potatoes, lentils, and tofu were cool and mushy, like they had been cooked the day before and just come out of the fridge. They warmed party in the rice. The flavors were mild, except for the dressing. I'm glad to have ordered it on the side because it overwhelmed everything else with vinegar. The ingredients generally seemed to be a couple days old. The green onions were dried out though firm, and the sourdough it came with was a bit stale. In the future, I will probably stick with the small bowl, which cuts down on the rice. read more

50 minutes. 2 items. Placed an online order for a wrap and a bowl. Showed up about 20 minutes after ordering, only to have them start on the order. Stand in the pickup area for another 30 minutes. Told at 15 minutes 'the press isn't heated up yet' (now 11:00a - lunch service). Watched 3 wrap orders get served to eat-in patrons after this. Asked staff multiple times about the order with different excuses, eventually being ignored. Food is decent - it's a great option to have in town, but never again with that level of service. Honestly shocked. I'd never heard of this place. Were visiting Champaign to see my daughter at the University of Illinois and decided to try Forage wanting some healthy food. It was absolutely fantastic food. Loved it. Will go back. I wish there was one near us in Chicago. read more

Not my personal favorite place. I was under the impression this place was like Sweet Greens in Chicago, but that wasn't quite it. It's easy order dine in or takeout. I didn't really like the options. It tasted salty, portions were small, and it felt overpriced. Generally speaking I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

Good place for a quick and refreshing brunch! The dining environment was pretty nice and clean with very few people sitting inside on this Sunday morning. The servers were friendly as well. I ordered the Avocado Crunch, which cost about $15. The vegetables were very fresh, and I love the natural flavors as well as the mixture they added in the bowl. The fish meat was soft and salty, just played the role of a taste-increasing thing. The crunchy chips were able to enrich the texture, and the avocado cream was just appropriate in quantity. However, the bread was cold and tough, for which I reduced the one star. I might go there again if I wanna a refreshing meal in the future! read more

Best salad/power bowl restaurant near campus. Fresh food, generous portions, clean environment and dining ware, friendly staff. Plus it is super convenient. It's a great place to eat if you want to go healthy or after a workout so tiring that you feel uncomfortable if swallowing greasy food. I have been eating here for quite a few times and will keep going there! It would be even better if more options of protein can be provided. read more

Very uncomfortable service. I went to get a salad from this new place near campus and was greeted with an unpleasant person taking my order. This was my first time here and it will be my last. I came in around 3:30 and he started to make conversation with me while I was ordering, which was normal but then I realized he started hitting on me. He continuously called me flirty names like "shorty/shawty" among other names as well. He constantly complimented my looks, nails, and other personal belongings. I would give this a 3.5, the quality of the ingredients are good, my issue is with portion size. If you compare this to similar places (Sweetgreens), the portions are so small. You aren't going to get much of vitamins with a handfull of salad leaves. However I am glad to have a healthy option on Green st. read more

idk if they made a bad batch but their green goddess dressing used to be so good and now they added avocado to it and it STINKS!!!! please go back to the previous recipe you used for the dressing cause it tastes so bland now :( it used to taste so good--- perfect amount of tanginess and sweetness. now it tastes like nothing. my heart is broken a little. also charging $1.50 for pumpkin seeds and $1.50 for sunflower seeds is crazy like... there's no reason for my tiny salad to cost $11. come on. read more
