While I didn't buy my wife's eyewear from them they helped us. One of the G- Things sat on her glasses and the arms were folded flat with the frame. Great! What to do. Most places require an eye exam within a year to get new glasses. On a whim I went to For Your Eyes Only as they said they repair. Went in - they said they will do the best they can but the lenses can't be moved or copied without an exam within a year. I knew that but was truly hoping to get help fixing them. Well after fussing with them for 10-15 min, the tech handed me the repaired glasses. Made my day. Better yet made my wife's week! Service was Fantastic. New Store with waiting room fresh, comfortable and changes the game while waiting. I'll be back for any future needs. read more

I accidentally sat on my wife's new glasses. One arm was bent and the lens had popped out. I called and they said they would look at them. My wife and I dropped in and a very adept gentleman immediately took a tool and carefully realigned the frame and secured the lens back into position. Very happy that I get a reprieve from my wife. I recently took my 95 year old friend for two pair of glasses at For Your Eyes Only. I was floored by how different this optical business was from the others. We had terrible experiences at other places in the past. They not only are knowledgeable and professional, but spent the adequate time to ensure the best experience. The patience and kindness Jacob exhibited with my elderly friend was astounding. He is a perfectionist and made sure her glasses were "just right" before we left. I decided to give this place a shot after reading y'all's reviews :-) It was fantastic. The atmosphere is lovely, they have a beautiful selection of fashionable frames, and the staff is as patient and knowledgable as they come. The woman who helped me decide on my frames made me feel like she was genuinely excited about it. Anyway, the whole experience was amazing, my glasses arrived quite a bit earlier than estimated, and I even got serenaded by a fellow customer. Woo. hoo. I also want to say that even though they seem to have a reputation for serving an older clientele, they do just as well with younger folks. Just moved to Raleigh and this store was my first impression of the people here. I'm pleased to say that the staff is kind, patient, and above all, really good at their job. In about 30 minutes they made sure that this would be "my" eyeglass store for as long as I live here. Besides that, the interior was beautiful and clean, the selection of glasses ample, ranging from classic to modern, and it seems they have a tight integration with the eye doctor next door, making it a one stop shop. Thanks Jennifer! I've been getting my glasses at For Your Eyes Only for a number of years and have always been pleased with the service, products and relative value. I had new glasses made when mine broke this year. My prescription was about 5 to 6 months old and I didn't give it a second thought. When my new glasses came in I realized (after a couple of days) that I couldn't see clearly in the left eye/lens. I went back and Jennifer checked the glasses as made to the prescription and everything was correct. She had. Me look through a machine and told me something wasn't right and I needed to go back to the ophthalmologist. A few weeks later when I came back with a new prescription because a cataract had aggressively developed in one eye a new lens was ordered and installed within a couple of days --- At no additional charge. This place saved my sanity and my vision ! I had purchased 2 pair of glasses at another place ---on Six Forks ---and from day one I could not see correctly out of them. I was miserable. (Even after they tried numerous adjustments) I needed a new pair of glasses because I broke one of the ones I had purchased. I've been to Your Eyes Only - two times and now I will never go anywhere to buy glasses or have my glasses repaired! The first time I went in was because a pair of glasses that I LOVED had broken and I was hoping they could be repaired. The staff was very, very helpful, ordered a new part for me and charged me an extremely reasonable price for the part & for putting them back together - as good as new! Fast forward to yesterday, when my dog managed to steal my glasses while I was in the shower and chew one side arm to bits. I went back in to Your Eyes Only with the mangled glasses and a spare arm I had, but the spare arm was for ... of course.... untouched side of the glasses, but hoping they could use that spare part to order another for the damaged side - I brought it in. Instead of ordering a new set of arms they were able to mount the spare arm upside down & then melt the arm to bend it into the correct shape! I was totally amazed by the process and was grateful to not have to wait for new parts to come in, etc. AND THEN - she didn't charge me a thing! Earlier that day I thought this whole ordeal was going to cost me $80 and several weeks of time and in 5 minutes they had fixed my glasses and were incredibly nice to have not have charged me for their time & expertise. This is the BEST place EVER. Jennifer is a genius at adjusting glasses to be comfortable and easy to see out of. We're in town visiting from El Paso and ended up buying new glasses. They came in a few days and fit perfectly on the first try. By contrast, in El Paso, it took reordering the glasses 3 times and 6 weeks before I could see. I dropped by yesterday to see if they could help un-bend my glasses that were sitting funny on my face after a pocket mishap. I simply mentioned that I had bought the glasses a few months earlier and she went to work on them immediately. I have been going to See Jennifer at For Your eyes Only for years because nothing can beat her customer service or the quality of her lenses. I switched to progressive lenses a year ago, and she was SO knowledgeable about my new prescription and lenses, and helped me make an easy transition. When I lived in the RTP area, the glasses this shop made for me was so bad that they gave me a horrible headache every time I wore them. The prescription was clearly wrong. When I asked them to adjust, they said they were done correctly. I thought I could adapt to the glasses but had to threw them away after a couple weeks.
