I scheduled a move-out cleaning in preparation for putting my apartment on the market. I had used…read morethis company previously through my husband and had a very different experience, which is why I felt comfortable booking them again. Before she began, I told her that I needed to be in a different appointment by 2:00 p.m. She told me she would call me approximately 30 minutes before she was finished so that I could return for the final inspection. I was proactive and arrived at 1:20 p.m. so I would have enough time to meet her, inspect the apartment. I reminded her that I needed to be somewhere and she reassured me she would be done. I asked if I could come back after my appointment to do the inspection because it would still have been within the 5 hours they set. When I arrived, however, her car was not there and she was no longer at the property. The timing and communication throughout the entire appointment were extremely confusing. I was then rushed through the final inspection, and I immediately noticed several areas that needed to be addressed. Because I was already running late for my next appointment, I unfortunately did not have enough time to thoroughly inspect the entire apartment. Later that afternoon, I returned to the apartment to double-check the cleaning more thoroughly. I found multiple areas that had been missed, as well as dirty/oily substances throughout some areas that appeared to be residue from the cleaning products or supplies that had been used. When I called to explain my concerns, I was disappointed by the attitude I received from the receptionist. Rather than taking the concerns seriously, I was essentially told that it was my fault because I had "okayed" the inspection. I found this response extremely unprofessional, particularly given the amount of miscommunication surrounding the scheduling, arrival time, completion of the job, and final inspection. Throughout this experience, there were multiple instances of poor communication and a lack of professionalism. I understand that mistakes can happen, but I believe how a company handles those mistakes is just as important as the quality of the service itself. I was told that the receptionist would contact the manager and owner. At that point, I expected that either the manager or owner would personally follow up to address the miscommunication and concerns with the cleaning. Unfortunately, I was never contacted by anyone in management and was not offered any support or resolution from the higher-ups. It is especially disappointing because I had used this company before and had a completely different experience. Based on this recent experience, I would no longer recommend this company. The combination of poor communication, rushed service, missed areas, and the unprofessional way my concerns were handled left a very negative impression.

Since I live in the mainland, I relied on Yelp to find a cleaning crew that I could trust. After communicating with a number of them, I decided on MP Services since not only that they had competitive rates and great customer reviews, Meliza the owner had been very responsive throughout. The house is now squeaky clean, and the old windows and jalousies are clean like new (!), as you can tell from the photos. They even cleaned the exterior carport area without charging me for it. Even more, my wife just went back to Hawaii with my MIL, and she was shocked and pleasantly surprised that those jalousies could be cleaned so nicely despite the cakes of dirt that she saw growing up in that house. :-). I highly recommend MP Services and we are hiring them for the regular cleaning now.

Awesome customer service Okihime Cleaning Services. I did read several of the (1) star reviews prior to arranging the appointment which more or less stated that the customers either could not get a response from the company or that there was some sort of scheduling issue. I should have listened to my gut and stayed away. This is definitely not a company that I would put my trust in.

Customer Service is outstanding. The quality of cleaning is superior. My final inspection went…read moreincredibly quick. I remembered what the unit looked and smelled like when I moved in one year ago and Okihime matched it and the realtor knew that. The value was above reproach. Some cleaning companies want to see your mess, square footage, pictures, and don't want to waste their time meeting you. Okihime was the exact opposite. They beat out all competitors and I interviewed a lot of cleaners. They were eager for my business, they worked around my schedule. They didn't pussyfoot around square footage or request to see pictures. They didn't need a credit card to hold a date. They were straight-forward and honest. I pray that I do not need to move ever again as it is the most stressful thing in the world, but if I ever need to move or refer someone to get their places cleaned for a moving, I will always remember and refer them to Okihime Cleaning Services. Oh yes, one more thing, they were early for their appointment and I was on time. Which never happens with cleaners. If you want a company with integrity, honesty, a commitment for excellence, trust me and go with Okihime. If you choose to go with another company and it doesn't go as well as you expected, remember this review. The pictures speak for themselves. As far as the other reviews go that give less than 5-stars? The owners go out of their way to make things right. These customers hold resentment and are probably going through a rough patch in their lives. As I said before, moving is super stressful. Show some grace. I am so thankful for the work Okihime did on my place to have my unit. From start to finish. I put my project up. They contacted me within a few minutes. We talked. Set a date within 48 hours. And I passed final inspection. They worked hard and for their hard worked, I also provided optional gratuity. When you realize just how much hidden spots a professional cleaner can help you clean up to make your place pass an inspection, you'll be so grateful. Okihime is absolutely a life save.
