Spotless cleaning. They cleaned my cottage after a tenant moved out and did an excellent job!

I recently bought a second home on Oahu and I hired this cleaning company because they happened to service East Honolulu (Hawaii Kai). Since my primary home is in California, I need an honest and reliable cleaning company who I can trust to clean my house when I'm not there. After speaking with Travis, the owner, on the phone, I knew I was in good hands. The first cleaning there was a slight hiccup, but that was due to MY fault. I gave them a key that didn't work, and the cleaning crew had to wait 40 minutes before they could get inside. I felt bad because it made them late to the rest of their appointments that day. Still, Travis was very professional and made things happen! Due to my error, they didn't have time to wash the sheets or towels, but Travis said they would do it off-site and return them to me when I'm in town (which he did). Talk about going the extra mile! In terms of the cleaning, they did an excellent job! Everything was neat, tidy and in its place. There wasn't one area that they missed. This company can put even the most meticulous homeowner at ease knowing that not only will the smudges and mysterious residue on our prized picture windows disappear and allow us to enjoy the views of our immediate surroundings, but the work will be done with attention to detail and integrity. Why should I pay someone else to do it?" But honestly, with the craziness of life, I haven't been able to clean our home to a satisfactory level. So THANK GOODNESS we found Kini Cleaning! Very reasonable prices and their team is extremely professional, respectful, trustworthy and detail-oriented. (They also cleaned places in our home that I've been avoiding so I'm very thankful for that haha!). I think it's very stressful when you're trying to find a cleaning company that is trustworthy, especially because your home is such a sacred and private safe place for your family. There is a misleading area of service issue. 96795 shows as their service area.... East Oahu. Their response to me was "not able to service" and his correspondence to me clearly stated "we are servicing Hawaii Kai to Town". No Aloha ! read more

I have never used a cleaning service before so really didn't know who to call or what to expect but after calling several and speaking with Travis, I knew this would be my choice. Travis explained exactly what was involved: called two days in advance to reconfirm: text the morning of to advise they were on their way. In the short time we talked, I had the utmost confidence that my place was in good hands and I was 100 percent right. Extremely well mannered professional staff that went right to work and texted several times with videos just to reconfirm certain areas we had discussed. The apartment sparkled. Life Saver!!! We came for a family vacation and when we arrived to our air b n b, the place was definitely not cleaned. We called the owner immediately; he apologized and found a cleaner last minute for us. Travis (Cleaning Technician) called me not too long after! He was so understanding and made arrangements to get to us as soon as he could fitting us in between the many jobs he already had that day! The place was spectacular and cleaned so meticulously! It's always makes me nervous finding a cleaning company because the last time I used a "professional cleaning company" they were not so good. From the moment I called Travis, he really addressed all of my concerns and even came to give a walk through estimate the next day! We went over everything that was included and the price. They arn't the cheapest but it's well worth getting the job done right the first time. My landlord even said the place looked better than when we first moved in! We used this service twice. The owner, Travis, is very nice and is very proud of his company. However, after the first cleaning, we noticed a few areas that were not cleaned and when we tried to address it, he became very defensive and gave excuses. After the second time, again, we found areas that were not cleaned, but decided instead of getting into an argument with him, we would just cancel and find someone else. The crew is extremely rushed and pressed for time to leave to go to the next job, that attention to detail suffers. Also, if you ask them to do anything outside of the basics, it is an extra cost. Everything is measured in dollars and negative feedback is not appreciated. read more
