Pug after haircut. Velvety soft.
Trevor W.

I was a bit weary taking my Pug into a groomer because he does not do well when trying to brush his teeth or trimming his nails, but For Paws did such a great job with him!! They gave him a beautiful haircut and trimmed his nails. He smelled soooo good when I got him back!! He was also as soft as a Sherpa blanket. You could really tell they care about the animals that come into their salon. The price is relatively affordable and well worth the little extra for super quality service. Thanks For Paws!! Would recommend!! P.S. I hear their de-skunk service works very well!!

Winnie our Whoodle. Thx For Paws :))

I was very hesitant to use For Paws due to their pretty horrible reviews below. My husband dropped off our pup Winnie so obviously as a woman I sent him with specific instructions and photo's for reference to give to the groomers upon drop off. The first appointment was amazing! The girl that works there does an awesome job! The second appointment was a disaster. The owner groomed her and it was TERRIBLE and she came back acting submissive and sat in the corner. Ask for the young girl to handle your pup. Not the owner!!!

This is the 2nd time I've left this review. The 1st one never posted or was somehow deleted. My 11 lb MinPin was to have a bath, blow dry nails trimmed and teeth brushed. Appointment was at 9:40 A.M. I was told it could take 1 1/2 hours. I never received a call so I returned at 11:10 and was told that her nails still needed to be trimmed. Her teeth looked the same so not sure that was done. Wash & blow dry $45. Teeth brushing $10. Could not pay without leaving a tip. Will never go back even they owe the nail trimming.

Quaint little place!

This place is great, although more expensive than your local chain pet store. I went here after PetCo wouldn't grind my dog's nails because he "didn't want to sit on the table." It's not that he didn't want to, it's that he is newly adopted from being a stray and doesn't yet know his commands so telling him to jump up was not going to work, which I explained to the woman but alas... So we came here as a last Hail Mary attempt around 11am on Friday and they took him right away. They were only able to do some light grinding because he didn't like it too much and no one wanted him to have a bad first experience, but they got the nails down from their dagger-like state and I am so grateful. Definitely worth the $20 for a happy dog and (somewhat) still intact screen door.

My dog had a "mommy makeover," here. Well, not quite, but close. His appointment was at noon but they weren't finished until around 5:00 ish, but I was totally OK with that - they are a very busy shop and the ladies have a perfectionist attitude, so they won't release your pup until they are satisfied...including staying after hours to make sure the dogs are groomed to their liking. They molded my pup's hair by hand. He usually gets the #1 buzz cut but this is the first grooming place that he came out looking puffed and smelling perfumed without all his hair shaved off. The lady said my dog had a nice head and we came up with a hair strategy to let his head grow out to look more Bichon like, giving him a unique look. He enjoyed playing with the other resident dogs; they didn't cage him at all, and he had an afternoon of fun romping time. The shop didn't have a wet dog smell to it, either. I really like the warmth and caring of the ladies who work there. This is their life, literally. Most of all, my pup enjoyed being there, too.

Cat had to be taken to the vet after getting groomed at For Paws salon.

It is not cheap, but Talia is an absolute pro and your cat will be in the best of hands ( and note that Marilee did NOT require sedation, as the vet had previously done!) They do doggies also!

Before I found them, I tried other groomers in town with Coco Bear and she would be there all day, where as SB Paws and Claws usually have everything done in under two hours. I recently brought in our new rescue, Pepper who we were told is a poodle, yorkie and maltese mix. It was her first haircut and they were so wonderful, updating me throughout the appointment to let me know how Pepper was doing as I was a little nervous her being away from me for the first time. They did a wonderful job of course, and it is clear that they really care about the pets that they work with!

It was uneven and didn't looks so good. I brought him here to get him evened out and get him on a good schedule. I was nervous about the blow dryer and how he would do for strangers. They took amazing care of him and sent me an update after his blow dry telling me he did great. When I came to pick him up I was so happy to see how good he looked. I didn't expect a huge difference since his hair was super short but he looked like a cloud. He wasn't nervous or stressed after which was also amazing. They store itself is also a very welcoming space!
