Small sites. Lots of road noise. Nice pool. Friendly people. Good location compared to the National park.

My stay was great! The breakfast was very good, the room was very clean. Sitting by the babbling…read moreriver was very relaxing and enjoyable. If you want a room facing the river, you have to ask for that in your reservation (they have rooms facing the river, and other rooms facing the parking lot). We stayed in a river-facing room, and it was great. Staff were all very friendly and I will most definitely stay there again if the opportunity arises. There are ducks and geese, and we even say a crane in the water. Within walking distance of several restaurants and attractions, right on the main drag in Pigeon Forge.

It definitely delivers on the cozy atmosphere and river views -- and yes, there are plenty of geese to remind you you're by the water! Check-in was seamless, and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. They have a nice 24/7 drink bar with instant coffee and tea, plus another bar with juice and tea options during breakfast and again in the evenings (7-10). Small touches like that were a nice surprise. As for the room, it was a good size and overall comfortable. The beds were great, though I did notice housekeeping service declined a bit as the week went on. Towels varied in softness, and the complimentary toiletries were below average -- I'd recommend bringing your own. For a listed 3-star hotel, I'd rate it closer to 2.5 stars. The property is clean and cozy, but for the price point, it could use a few tune-ups. That said, I'd stay here again, especially if you're traveling with family or kids. The pool and hot tub area are nice, and the continental breakfast was fairly decent. Tip: If you're staying on the first floor near rooms 110-120, you might want to request a different area unless you're an early riser -- hallway noise can be noticeable from people coming and going in the morning.

Book this place and book it FAST!!!!…read more For $107, we got breakfast, two clean queen-sized beds, a refrigerator, a microwave, a modest view of the lake, AND a fireplace. The is a full body mirror, a sink and mirror with towels outside the bathroom AND another mirror and sink inside the bathroom. We got lucky and got the very last room! It was a full house, yet there still managed to be five extra parking spaces. Did I mention that there is also a pool and the front desk lady was so sweet. There is also an additional fireplace by the pool and pool towels!!! I couldn't have asked for a more restful, cozy night. I'm still so surprised they have a fridge and microwave. They don't even do that in most places anymore. They dont charge you for opening the fridge either!! Also, I'm allergic to pet dander and they said that they made sure that every time a pet is here, they clean is well. I believe them!!! No allergies for me!!! Breakfast is still at 6:30-9:30am. There is now liquid soap and conditioner in the showers.

Wowowowow, where do I start?!…read more Pigeon Forge is a mountainous Vegas-like touristy town. There are tons of hotels, some are great and others...not so much. Those great hotels are often going to cost a pretty penny while those more affordable ones are going to be a bit rough around the edges. So where can you stay in Pigeon Forge that isn't going to hurt the bank account while giving you a relaxing stay? Well look no further...Twin Mountain Inn & Suites is excellent AND affordable! I'm a Hotels member and when I saw Twin Mountain Inn and Suites' 5 star reviews, I was curious, especially because at the time, the rates were about $97/night AND pets are only $20/night. Not only that, the room had a river view with a balcony, fireplace, and free parking. Now, I've kept this hotel on the backburner on my account. Last time we visited Pigeon Forge, we stayed at Drury and spent so much more on a "Mountain View" that overlooked the parking structure. So, this time, I decided to go with my instinct and book with Twin Mountain. Boy, am I glad we did!! We stayed on the third floor. Don't let the cover of a book fool you. The parking is easy but can get full pretty quickly, true. However, the room was probably on of the cleanest hotel rooms we've ever stayed in. The beds were comfortable. The shower was hot and had good water pressure (albeit, no conditioner or body wash-just a small packaged bar of soap. There were two small bottles of shampoo). There's a microwave and mini fridge in the room. I also liked that there were two sinks, one in the bathroom and one just outside of it (vanity). This was convenient for two people. The AC/heater was powerful, too. The fireplace is timed and creates a cozy atmosphere. The balcony overlooking the river was peaceful and there were two plastic chairs and a little table out there to sit and enjoy the view of ducks and geese. Twin Mountain Inn and Suites is close to the strip but away from the flashing lights and noise. It's a great location! Breakfast is included and had biscuits and gravy, eggs, yogurt, sausage, fruit, cereal, and one waffle maker. There's fresh coffee and a juice machine, too. It was a tight squeeze as it was very busy for 7:30am so I decided to get one biscuit and gravy, two sausages, and a yogurt to take back to the room, which were all very good. There's a drink vending machine outside of the lobby and one near the parking lot. The elevator was convenient and they also had luggage trolleys, too. This was an outstanding stay for one night and I wish it had been longer. I highly highly HIGHLY recommend staying with Twin Mountain Inn & Suites for your next stay in Pigeon Forge.

I love to take road trips and Tru by Hilton always seems to be a big part of it. What says time to…read morerelax more than a night at Tru? Well, maybe a many places but not at this price point. Like other locations this Tru has all the bells and whistles! The activity board that lists area shopping, eating, and attractions highlights, the relaxing color scheme, clean rooms, complementary toiletries, sustainability features, and delightful staff! Now this particular Tru was just a pit stop so I didn't spend the day exploring Dollywood, but her recent passing made me think about this fun stop. The Smokey Mountains are also nearby. I left around 8:30am and was eating brunch in Asheville NC by 10:30am. I was trying to remember where I ate dinner the night before, but I know it was walkable after crossing the main drag. If you find yourself needing rest after a day in the saddle this a good option, but I would reserve early in the day while there are vacancies.

It was super reasonable for one night to bed down before moving on to our other destinations. This hotel is clean, has enough room, and is all you could want in a place to stay. It's located up above the island area and is near the baseball thing. I don't know what it's called but you'll hear your fair share of walk up songs bright and early if you stay on the backside of the hotel. The beds were very comfortable in my opinion. I have an achy hip and leg most days and even my own bed kills me. This bed had me sleeping like a baby, even with my four year old beside me. We arrived at almost 11pm and the staff was nice and welcoming and there was tea and coffee available in the lobby. They do provide a breakfast in the lobby in the morning and have games and seating areas for families. Would definitely recommend staying here!
