This is a minimalist, new, modern no frills place to stay. Convenient location and a couple blocks off the main highway so nice and quiet. This personally is best for an overnight stay. If I had to stay a few nights I'd probably look for a different brand. This is probably now the low brand for Hilton, they are nice because most are fairly new. The bad thing is, this is our 4th Tru we have stayed at and all have really cheap mattresses. Big difference between a Tru bed and other Hilton Brand beds. 3 stars as they just fall in the middle. There is a pool area that looks to be shared with the Home2 Suites and I did see an EV hook up in the Home2 Suites right adjacent to this one.

I like the tru hotels. They are moderately priced, dog friendly, very modern. and family friendly with pool tables and lots of lounge type seating in the lobby and even a fire pit outside. They have a wonderful hot breakfast in the mornings. The beds are super comfy. The location is within 5 minutes of Dolly wood and the island is just down the street with plenty of shopping and restaurants. Location is great. My only complaint (and it's not even a big complaint) is there must be a little league baseball field or something behind it ( on the hill ) because they start making announcements on the giant speakers early in the morning. On vacation I like to sleep in and found it a bit hard to do with the constant announcements. I bet that's a seasonal issue for summer games and doesn't happen year round. Would stay again!

My room was a bright and functional room. Trendy with a open concept, no drawers, open closets and shelves so everything is accessible. It was also spotless! On the 6th floor there is a sky deck with a fire pit, Life size connect four and Jenga. There are a lot of comfortable cushioned sofas and chairs. On the first floor is a inside pool with TV, just in case you wanna swim and your football on. Fun! They share the outside pool with home2home next door and it has a adult size slide. The breakfast is self serve and it's included. Plenty of things to top your eggs, oatmeal, yogurt and waffles. There is a beautiful sunroom to eat breakfast in. Love the digital key. Go to breakfast or a out and about with just your phone. No need to remember the key It's super close to the island. Convenient!

We shan't be staying here, at this Tru again... Pros: You can use the nice outdoor pool to the sister Hilton property next door. Also, on site indoor pool. Amble free parking. Soft bed linens. Nice room views; esp. from the top floors. There's access to a cool roof top viewing deck with lovely Smoky views. Cons: Arbitrary & random dumb C19 requirements that were not safety precautions, but rather, random & repetitive inconveniences. Scent of pet pee in the hall way. Bed platforms creaks everytime you move; so loud wakes you (& your spouse up). Ice Maker turned off so they can charge you for ice bags in the market. Verrrrrry overpriced for a Tru.

I went in hopeful and we left completely convinced. This place didn't just meet expectations, it blew straight through them. The Inn is Christmas 24/7, 365 days a year, and somehow it never feels cheesy or forced which is kinda the magic here. What could easily have been a kitschy, Vegas-style Pigeon Forge gimmick is elevated into something genuinely special by the level of service and attention to detail. From the moment you check in, you realize this isn't just a theme -- it's a fully realized experience tucked into the Appalachian Mountains. The service alone deserves serious recognition. Every interaction felt intentional, warm, and unhurried. Staff members weren't just polite, they were present, attentive without hovering, joyful without being performative. If Michelin gave Key Awards for hotels here, this place would be a lock based on service alone. Then there's the feeling of it all. Staying here feels like waking up on Christmas morning at your grandmother's house.. that safe, cozy, nostalgic joy where nothing is rushed and everything is allowed to be wonderful. You can roam the hotel in your pajamas, and no one looks at you twice. It's not weird, it's encouraged. You just roll out of bed, head downstairs for biscuits and gravy, hang out with Santa, drink your body weight in hot apple cider, and let every worry slowly melt away. The outdoor hot tub seriously sealed the deal for me. Steam rising into the mountain air, lights glowing, Christmas music softly humming in the background.. it's the kind of moment that makes you forget what day it is, what month it is, and why you ever let yourself get stressed in the first place. This is easily one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in, and not just because of the theme. The Inn at Christmas Place succeeds because it understands something simple and rare: atmosphere means nothing without genuine hospitality. Here, you get both in abundance. If you love Christmas, travel, or just the idea of feeling like a kid again, this is an easy recommendation. Not just for the holidays, but any time of year you need a reminder of how good it feels to slow down, be cozy, and let yourself enjoy something unapologetically joyful.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Every interaction was genuinely friendly, fun, and welcoming. The rooms are a good size with an indoor fireplace that adds a nice touch and large bathrooms. They have outdoor balconies overlooking the shopping area or river - which was great for seeing nature (geese, beavers, herons). Facilities are nice with a good sized gym and large rooftop pool and hot tub overlooking the Ferris wheel. The roof has plenty of lounge chairs and the chill bar with great staff that will bring your orders (food included) to your chair. The hotel is pet-friendly and has an indoor fireplace-house restaurant and bar (Fins) with an outdoor patio. It also has an onsite Starbucks. While pricey, the amenities, room size, great staff, and location made it worth it! We've already started talking about our next visit!

The bathroom had a vent with tons of rust, the paint was chipped all over the walls. Beat up and scuffed furniture. The patios were sad and depressing. The patio door was broken and did not lock. The view is "sad creek with creepy parking lot." The hotel also gives a complimentary margarita coupon to guests. We do not drink alcohol. When I went to the bar I asked the manager if we could trade it in for a non-alcoholic margarita or NA beer and they said no, only alcoholic margaritas. How ridiculous! Not even a freaking mocktail margarita! After staying at the Gatlinburg resort property this was a huge let down. We have since learned they are two different franchise owners. Suffice to say, we were going to stay two nights. We paid for two and after one night we left and booked a room at the Gatlinburg location instead. That's how bad it was.

Wowowowow, where do I start?!…read more Pigeon Forge is a mountainous Vegas-like touristy town. There are tons of hotels, some are great and others...not so much. Those great hotels are often going to cost a pretty penny while those more affordable ones are going to be a bit rough around the edges. So where can you stay in Pigeon Forge that isn't going to hurt the bank account while giving you a relaxing stay? Well look no further...Twin Mountain Inn & Suites is excellent AND affordable! I'm a Hotels member and when I saw Twin Mountain Inn and Suites' 5 star reviews, I was curious, especially because at the time, the rates were about $97/night AND pets are only $20/night. Not only that, the room had a river view with a balcony, fireplace, and free parking. Now, I've kept this hotel on the backburner on my account. Last time we visited Pigeon Forge, we stayed at Drury and spent so much more on a "Mountain View" that overlooked the parking structure. So, this time, I decided to go with my instinct and book with Twin Mountain. Boy, am I glad we did!! We stayed on the third floor. Don't let the cover of a book fool you. The parking is easy but can get full pretty quickly, true. However, the room was probably on of the cleanest hotel rooms we've ever stayed in. The beds were comfortable. The shower was hot and had good water pressure (albeit, no conditioner or body wash-just a small packaged bar of soap. There were two small bottles of shampoo). There's a microwave and mini fridge in the room. I also liked that there were two sinks, one in the bathroom and one just outside of it (vanity). This was convenient for two people. The AC/heater was powerful, too. The fireplace is timed and creates a cozy atmosphere. The balcony overlooking the river was peaceful and there were two plastic chairs and a little table out there to sit and enjoy the view of ducks and geese. Twin Mountain Inn and Suites is close to the strip but away from the flashing lights and noise. It's a great location! Breakfast is included and had biscuits and gravy, eggs, yogurt, sausage, fruit, cereal, and one waffle maker. There's fresh coffee and a juice machine, too. It was a tight squeeze as it was very busy for 7:30am so I decided to get one biscuit and gravy, two sausages, and a yogurt to take back to the room, which were all very good. There's a drink vending machine outside of the lobby and one near the parking lot. The elevator was convenient and they also had luggage trolleys, too. This was an outstanding stay for one night and I wish it had been longer. I highly highly HIGHLY recommend staying with Twin Mountain Inn & Suites for your next stay in Pigeon Forge.

The hotel is older but very well maintained and off the beaten path so we really loved that. The hotel desk staff was very friendly as well. So every time you came in, you were blasted with cigarettes. Otherwise, the stay was very enjoyable!
