We arrived to the place in a good mood ready to spend a lot of money here, we drove an hour just to get to this place, as soon as we get there one of the male employees came up to us and greeted us very nicely unfortunately I did not get his name, he was a big help while we were going around picking plants to buy. We later met a wonderful lady her name is eugenia she was amazing and such a big help as well, she was showing us around and telling us more about the flowers until this rude unprofessional lady who's name is Tammy interrupted us and told the worker(eugenia) to not let this little girl touch the flowers like that. It was the way she said it, she was talking so horrible not only to this little girl but also to the worker(eugenia). We told Tammy that the little girl was not touching the flower, I saw her, and she immediately got defensive and got a nasty attitude. When we told her that it wasn't right the way she talked to us over nothing she said "the doors open right there" that's another example of her unprofessionalism, all she was doing the whole time that we were there she was sitting in a chair in her little office and chatting away, Tammy also does not talk to the workers with respect. The store is so pretty but Tammy made it look ugly with her ugly attitude, learn to have respect for others Tammy !! We had to call just to get Tammy's name ! read more

had high hopes for this nursery but left pretty disappointed. there was only one green house for the public to look at and the choices were limited. there was more areas that looked like they had a lot more choices with plants but they were off limits. appreciated one lady who helped us with our purchases (she was wearing a mask) but the other two ladies in the office were not wearing masks! like how can you not wear masks when all your customers are wearing one?? but they had a good special of 8 inch plants for $7.50 and I purchased 3 birds of paradise and a burgundy rubber tree. read more

I've been to this nursery numerous times and every time I've seen someone get yelled at by the older gentleman (who I believe is the owner) for checking out/touching/picking up a potted plants. Today, I was greeted by Yolanda, she is always so sweet and pleasant. However, I saw her get yelled at by the old man owner in front of customers (for being helpful nonetheless... she was answering questions from customers but he yelled at her to work more and talk less, followed by a 'zip your mouth' hand motion) AND she was belittled in front of me and other customers by the mumbling mean lady in the office. I went there today off of the advice of an outdoor plant nursery I had found close by. I couldn't believe the amazing experience I had! First off, they have an awesome array of healthy indoor plants and at a fraction of what they would cost in the city (LA). Regina helped us out and she was so incredibly helpful. She wrapped everything nicely put it in a wheelbarrow and even loaded our car for us! Whenever you go there ask for Regina...she was the best! When entering this place there are no signs where to park. So I made my own but not blocking anything or anyone of course. As we enter a really nice Hispanic lady tells me not to park that way because the owners gets upset over parking. I told her I'll move the car she said no it's okay just so you know for next time. Fast forward they have a decent choice of house plants a bit pricey for the size.. as any customer you would want to feel and touch the merchandise you are going to buy right. Well don't do that here, the owner literally yelled at me not to touch the plant or leafs! After that happened I felt attacked and disrespected because no one should speak to anyone in that sort of tone! Especially a customer! Well after I put down the product he was following me throughout the whole nursery as if I was going to steal something?!? He seemed very racist and narcissistic. I did not like the vibe of the place. Now for the cashier she has such a nasty attitude not friendly at all and looks so miserable and hates everything around her. I feel bad for her. I was going to take two plants so I gave her my card, she doesn't even look at me and says so stale with no emotion or feeling " We don't take card" there no signs anywhere saying they only take cash. The staff is exceptionally helpful and very nice. The owners are rude and NOT WEARING MASKS. The prices are great for plants. Be careful of the "Special" offer plants that are $7.50 or $8.50. We bought an 8" rubber tree that seemed healthy only to come home with it and discover it was infested with spider mites underneath the leaves. read more

A few tips to make your shopping trip bearable at this nursery. Decent price for plants but very limited selection. Cash only and there are no prices listed on most of the plants. You'll have to wait until you see someone on the sales floor to ask prices and a couple of them are usually helpful. The ladies in the office (not wearing masks) will ring you up. Don't expect any customer service as they can be Rude with a capital R. Based on other reviews, they are daughters of the owner, let's call him Father Rude, who goes around yelling at people not to touch the plants. This nursery has a nice variety of indoor plants. Theres an older women that guides you through the place if you need any help or suggestions. I took a couple plants home but didnt realize until days later that 2 of the plants I purchased were infested with mealybugs. I've been coming to this nursery for close to 20 years and the daughters in the office have never been nice, but the last few times the one that sits to the right has been insanely rude and she over charges saying the prices have changed. The employees are helpful and I've noticed they talk less and the plants seem to be less attractive now, maybe because the place is less interesting to me since the lady in the office had me standing to pay while she was on the phone for close to 10 minutes taking about personal stuff. I buy lot of stuff from this nursery, the people that work on the floor are very very nice and helpful but the people working in the office are the worst people you can work with. They have NO customer service skills. Just because of there bad customer service I will not go there, they lost Thousands of dollars just from me not going there and I know more vendors in the industry that stopped going there because of the very bad service in the office. They don't know the meaning of a loyal customer and repeat customer but their bad service and bad attitude toward me was the last drop and I am out of patience. I had slowly decreased and was avoiding this place, and today was my last visit there. Came here with wife to buy a tree for our home but upon entering felt completely unwelcome. No acknowledgement or assistance whatsoever from any worker when walking in. The plants are usually good and the price is better than a retail nursery, but if you are looking for customer service forget it! I've been going here for over 20 years and sometimes spending thousands when buying for a church season and they still treat me rudely as if they've never seen me before. The guy who owns it and his daughters who sit in the office are the rudest people ever. But as I said the price is good. However they have too many tropicals and not a big variety of houseplants. Been to this nursery only about three times now, and I have to say I feel bad for the women on the floor they are so sweet, and attentive to your needs. I love them some of the sweetest people, but unfortunately for them they have to apologize for the management around here. Usually it goes the other way around not here the boss will follow you around staring you down telling you not to touch stuff. Like sir if you don't want anyone to handle the products you are selling them maybe don't sell them don't put them on the floor. I know for sure I'm not buying a plant without inspecting it first. Especially when the plants don't look to be in the best condition in the first place here. This no way to run any business at all maybe don't have one if you don't want people to shop. Have been a customer for more than 20 years. Their a hidden gem. Huge variety of gorgeous indoor foliage, variegated, flowering plants, orchids, aftican violets, succulents at absolutely great prices, half or less than you would pay elsewhere. You can not beat them. Plants in 2 inch pots up to 10/20 gallon and from 6 inches tall to 10 feet or more. They do have some outdoor plants and trees. A large selection of baskets and pots in adjacent green houses, which I often forget about, also fantastic prices. I have seen on almost all my visits, florists from near and far pricking up orders. Save yourself a bundle of money and go here and buy it yourself and even make your own planted arrangements. Great for gift giving, house warming or starting up a new office that needs some greenery. * I love their discounted section! The workers bag up your purchases for a clean safe transport and take them to your vehicle for you, no tip required. But nice once in a while I'm sure. She never gave me any of the information I was looking for and was one of the most rudest people I ever talked to. The prices here are great and they have an amazing variety of indoor plants, but the rude women in the office area is enough to keep me from going back. They seemed annoyed that I had questions. There were a couple of people working the floor that appeared to be nice and helpful, but they were busy helping others so I just roamed around the greenhouse. The first review made me curious to see this place. Okay it's not Sherman gardens but it's not exactly a dump either. Pretty typical for a plant place not in the hub of suburbia. Really a Distributor of House Plants. Not all the green houses open to the public but still a lot bigger than you'd ever expect from the street. Nice selection of really fresh house plants and one funky little section of oddly grown succulents. Some accessories like green moss for lining baskets, lots of kitschy little house plant pots but a surprising few nice ones tucked in here and there. A seperate section of woven baskets. One labeled heavy rim for $3.50 reminded me of the quality of the Trader Joe's baskets seen for ~$15 several years ago. Yes, bring cash. read more
