I went to Foot Spa after a long pickleball tournament and it was exactly what I needed. I called ahead and they told me to come right in--super quick and easy, no hassle. I ended up getting an hour-long foot and calf massage, and honestly, it was completely worth it, especially for how affordable it was. There was a slight language barrier between me and Tom, who was my massage therapist, which caused a little confusion at the start. I also tend to prefer heavier pressure, and I wasn't really able to communicate that clearly because of the language barrier--but even with that, it was still a solid, relaxing massage. It was my first time at an open-concept massage place, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but it felt clean, relaxing, and well-kept. This place used to be awesome. I think they have gotten too busy. The foot massages are still great, but the last two times we have booked massages for 4-5 people, the guy answering the phone has completely messed up. the first time he stated that he forgot to write down our appointment. he said "well i could get 2 of you in if you want." We had my teenage daughter here with her friends for her 18th birthday. We were not about to tell 1 or 2 people they couldn't go in. So we left without so much as a "hey let me do something for next time you are here" or "let me figure something out." Nothing. The next time was more of the same. Same kid answered the phone and made our appointment. same kid was there to greet us. Same kid messed up and put us down for an appointment that was 2 hours later than what he told us over the phone. Again, he made no effort to make it right. I think they hired this kid to organize things and maybe break the language barrier, but our experience has made it so we won't be going back. and we have been there at least 20 times in the past and brought lots of other people with us that were in from out of town. read more

What. A. Massage! I opted for an hour-long session. The friendly lady at reception asked if there was anywhere I'd like to focus on. I gestured to my neck and shoulders. She led me to the studio in the back- very clean and quiet- and to my massage table. She then spoke to the gentleman who worked on me, I believe in Mandarin and about my massage length and focus areas, and then he went to work. Boy did he. For context, I've been hiking in the Southwest for the past three weeks, up and down mountains with a not-too-light pack, for close to a hundred miles in distance and several thousand feet in elevation change. As a result, my shoulders hurt. Everything hurts, actually, but my shoulders in particular. I'm sitting in my car now, after an hour of tenderizing, and felt compelled to write this review immediately, it was that life-changing. Nothing hurts anymore, even parts that I didn't even know were sore until he poked and kneaded them. The price is right, the place is restful and clean, and the staff are top-tier. I like this place and go there about twice a month. Why the low rating then, right? I give the low rating because sometimes the massage is just painful and it shouldn't be that way. I had a 1 hour full body massage and the guy just seemed to grind his forearm and elbow into my back. The pressure was way too much so I told him and he eased up a bit. I guess using your hands is too much work for some, but massage is not a job for the lazy. After 45 minutes of nothing but forearm/elbow grinding and my back really starting to hurt, I yelled at him to stop it and do anything else. It came out too harshly and I regret that, but I had reached my limit. He used his hands for a very short time and moved to my feet, then it was over. I am on day 5 after the massage and my back is still a bit sore. This is totally unacceptable. I do recommend the place because 90% of the time it is good. I just need to make sure I get up and leave when it is bad because there is no chance to will get better if you get one of the lazy people. read more

My guy got the job done, but he didn't have the instinct for finding the deeper tensions that need to be released that I'm accustomed to in my massages. Left feeling so relaxed we were worried to drive home. we had misunderstood how to book it online and had accidentally only scheduled for one person I stead of all 4 of us so we weren't able to be seen that day.
