Ofelia is a gifted bodyworker. I wouldn't even describe what she does as massage, because it's so much more than that! It's more like a "fix everything wrong with your body" session. She's highly intuitive and knows exactly where to go, what to do, etc. And she uses some techniques that I've never experienced with anyone else before. My massage today by Colton was one of the top massages I've ever had in my life. I am a hiker and very tight in my hips and he knew the exact type of stretching and pressure needed to release the muscles. It makes my back tight and he released it 100%, make sure to go in with an open mind, he is healing your body. Some of the positions are of course more sensitive and I believe Colton took the time to make sure I was comfortable and feeling great during the massage. I'm writing this review to let people know that they should always speak up during a massage if something doesn't feel right. Now I have permanent damage to my thumb for the rest of my life (unless I want surgery, which I don't.) My daughter gifted me a massage in August and Colton was assigned to me. I took 10 minutes completely filling out a form where I indicated that my shoulders and back were in need of attention. I also indicated I would like a light to medium pressure. It was obvious he didn't even read my form. When I told him I just wanted shoulders and back, he gave me a skeptical look and told me that everything was connected and that I should be open. He didn't spend much time on my shoulders but for some reason spent about 10 minutes with very hard pressure on my left hand. I should have spoken up but I wanted to be "open." At one point, he pressed into my armpit very hard and I said, "ow!") In a very monotone voice, he replied, "On a scale of 1 to 10, how much does it hurt?" I thought that was strange. There were parts of the massage that were good (when he did do my back and shoulders) so I left a decent tip (I always do.) Later that night, I noticed my thumb was very painful. I let the owner know about it and she offered a replacement massage. She gave me a replacement in September but that didn't help my thumb. I kept thinking he must have sprained it and that it would go away. Finally, I went to see an orthopedic doctor and after he did my x-ray he said that when I got the massage from Colton, he had popped the capsule around my CMC joint. I'm in my 60s and he said it is very common to lose cushioning in the joints which is also called arthritis. He said if the capsule hadn't been popped, I would most likely never have noticed any arthritis. Now I have to wear a thumb brace to try to reduce the pain which apparently will never go away. I can no longer securely grip things with my left hand or open jars with that hand. I don't want to hurt Ofelia's business, I just wanted people to know they should speak up. When I sent Ofelia a text about the doctor's opinion, she never responded, which I find very disappointing. I've spent $120 in doctor copay, thumb braces and some topical medicine. I would have thought maybe she would at least offer to pay for that. In the future, I will be very careful about who gives me a massage. read more

My mom hurt her back and was unable to walk properly . I made an appointment with Ophelia and she was able to help my mom get relief from her severe back pain and inflammation. The massage lasted about two hours but my mom came out of there glowing and waking perfectly fine and without pain . Will definitely be coming back for myself read more

I have never met any masseuse like Ophelia. I can't believe I haven't written her a review. Her style is unlike any type of massage I've ever experienced and each time, I come out like a new human being and the most relief I've ever felt.... Incredible and almost unbelievable. There's something about her Aztec technique, her touch, the pressure, the pressure points, her overall knowledge of the human body, etc. it's really like magic. It's the most unique and addictive yet effective. I've literally gotten thousands of massages in my life and Ophelia is my favorite I've ever had in my life... by far. I found her during the pandemic when we were passing through Utah and I knew I had to find her again every time we did a similar road trip. I was hoping trying a new place for date night out of Saint George would have been a good experience, but i was very wrong and left in tears. Colton was extremely unprofessional during my couples massage. Terrible technique & horrible drapping. I was exposed at one point & could be considered assaulted. He performed "attachments" stretching on me which i did not request which injured my left knee. I also have some bruising. We talked with the manager Ophelia about the incident right after, but was only given excuses to his behavior, apologies, and a "free massage" that we will not be using. I am afraid for any other woman or man to be massaged by him. He felt very unsafe, and i have never felt that way in the 100+ professional massages i have received.
