The area looked picked over, a bit of disarray. But staff on the floor were busy and I must say very friendly. The young floor staff were quick to check on you if you needed anything or had questions. When we asked a question, they were quick to answer with enthusiasm. For the most part the store is clean and organized. I still find some of the merchandise to be on the upper end if you were to do comparison shopping. But, it looked like they had some good deals. We made it to the counter with our purchase with the employees checking you out, the goal being to move the line along. I don't think that would hinder us from returning.

I want this... I want this…read more.. And I want this... Oh, and this too, please... Yes, since I'm an Exercise Physiologist, I can spent WAY too much time and money here! So I came to their Dick's Sporting Goods location to buy some new dumbbells. A former "friend" borrowed my set of 30 lb ones and never returned them. I walked in and was greeted by the checkout staff. This location is HUGE and stocked with premium brands and sporting equipment! I asked one of the floor staff where the dumbbells are and she directed me to them. They seriously have a brilliant selection of strength training équipement but, alas, they were out of stock of their 30 lb dumbbells! Then the awesome Manager On Duty came up and I asked him if he had any more inventory in their stock room. With a flip on his electronic pad he checked and said yes! I ran up to the front to get a shopping basket (I may be strong but I wasn't in the mood to be a carrying 60 lbs of wights around with me after just eating Crack Shack) and by the time I returned the Manager had a palate of new dumbbells out and had staff members unpacking them . Yay! Check out was a breeze and ALL of the staff here were super friendly and professional! Needless to say this will now be my new, go-to Sporting Goods store!

I like Athleta clothing for their functionality and style. Because of this I recommend purchasing in store. Luckily this store is nearby and usually well stocked. I've never had a problem with returns/exchanges here and the staff is friendly and helpful.

But that's not really the story I'm going to tell, after I left the store I got a call from Connor saying did I drop a $20 bill? Well, I keep my cash next to my wallet in my pants and I was pretty sure that it was me that dropped the $20 bill. So when I got to my next stop, I looked at my cash and yes, I was missing a $20 bill. I could not believe that any employee would care about a customer and a $20 bill. Superstar. Wanted to add a safety check for skis and boots going into new season. Filled out all paperwork, passed inspection and paid for both upfront. When I came to pickup nearly a week later, and past the date I was told they would be complete, there was an issue that the heel plate was worn down just over the allowable threshold. REI will not make adjustments or anything to skis/bindings. I was told I got a voicemail, but I never received a call. Pulled up my cell phone record on the spot. Worst of it all, they did not even do the wax. So my skis just sat at this location for a week, with my money, and then I picked them up and got my money back and nothing but wasted time.

Asides from the hard but enjoyable work out class, the store itself is located in a nicer, upper middle class plaza. There's plenty of parking right outside the store.
