I stopped by this Foot Locker inside Valencia Mall today to look at their shoes collection. I was actually waiting for Auntie Anne to open nearby so I just walked inside the store to burn time. This Foot Locker is on the second floor and I came right around when they just open so there wasn't a lot of people inside. I believe one of the worker was named Danny and he greeted me when I walked in. He asked if I needed any help and that if I did, just call for him. I looked at some basketball shoes and also shoe cleaners that they had. I also checked out shoes for baby or kids and the prices are on the higher end. Me and my fiancé went in to try and find her shoes and we asked an associate for help and he showed no interest in helping us and acted like we were bothering him. He went to the back to check a shoe size but we saw him walking around and trying not to get seen by us. Then he comes back after 15 minutes and says they don't have the size and they didn't have her size in any shoes and when we asked about other shoes he looked away and then said no they don't have that size. I needed new walking shoes and stopped at Foot Locker in the Valencia Town Center. Jonathan greeted me and was a great help. He was friendly and had extensive knowledge of the different shoes that they had in stock and was very patient with me while I tried on many different styles of shoes. Although I didn't buy a pair as they did not have the style I liked in my size so I could fully see the fit, I contemplated just ordering them in my size because Jonathan was so helpful. Popped into Foot Locker, it was crazy packed! The Holidays are just around the corner so it's to be expected! I was with my family and my son wanted to try on a shirt, we weren't to sure if they had fitting rooms or even if they did would they be available? As my son was to try the shirt, an employee asked if we would like a fitting room, I was so surprised it would be available. This employee is Vince we walked with him as he said he would need to unlock it. Before Vince left, he said if we needed anything to let him know. As I waited I saw Vince working the whole floor and once we were finished I noticed Vince was working with a customer; at the same time he managed to quickly ask if everything worked out... we said yes and thanked him for his help. We were checked out by Marlin. Marlin is super friendly and just as polite as can be!!The employees here are all very professional ,super knowledgeable and take pride in what they do! The store was very clean and so many items were on sale! I've never had a bad experience here! The employees get it, how to treat their customer base new or returning customers! Was not greeted, nor helped. Grabbed the shoe waited in line as the two cashiers kept getting angry over cash payment on debit. When it was my turn I asked for the size then he waved me off to the side. As I waited for the pair of shoes they told me to get back in line. As I waited patient again, it was my turn and they completely ignored me until I walked up another two steps close to the register and I was acknowledged. I was in disbelief. Never again. read more

Ordered from FL online and only received one shoe. Called FL customer service and was able to find out was packed by the Valencia store. Customer service called the store who swore up and down they packed a whole order. Who the heck is going to steal one shoe!? Sure is heck wasn't the driver especially a toddler shoe and nothing fancy either. Straight up messed up the order and no way to replace it since it's OOS. No inventory and very unhelpful associates. Sadly, finish line went under. We were "helped" by Desiree, who had no interest of being there or helping customers. Mind us, it was Monday around 12:30 not much traffic. We weren't just looking at shoes, my girlfriend grabbed a pair we were obviously going to buy and we're looking for another for myself. Every shoe we asked if they had my size in she rolled her eyes and came back saying nope only a small small size or a bigger bigger size. Never offered to check if another store had them or if they could order them for me. I know they can do this because I was in Palmdale one time and the associate offered to order a pair of shoes or offered me to pick them up at a different store. Sad and people wonder why they do not receive better pay. When I got to the store, both employees were helping customers. I waited near the register with a shoe until Edgar could help me. While still waiting for the customer ahead of me to complete his transaction, Edgar was friendly and greeted me. He took the shoe and asked Josue if he could get the shoe for my mother to try. Josue was very helpful, bringing two sizes for the model shoe my mother wanted to try on. He also suggested two other shoes, and brought out the shoes in the correct sizes. Josue was very friendly, helpful and well-informed about the shoes that Footlocker carries and seems to be up to date on the latest shoe models current and upcoming. I shopped with this store a few other times and shipping takes so long, the packaging has always arrived in bad shape and the tracking numbers are not up to date. For my last purchase (Alphabounce) I went to return the shoes at the store, for some reason my order didn't appear on the system so they said they had to mail the shoes back. A week later, according to my tracking number the shoes hadn't even been shipped yet. The staff told me my package was still there but that it would be picked up the next day. I called three days later, again according to my tracking number it still hadn't been shipped yet, the staff told me it was picked up the day after I went to the store. I spent $200+, and I have no idea where the shoes are. With customer service being so important nowadays and other retailers stepping up their game, Footlocker is at the bottom. read more

Came in to purchase a specific shoe for my son for a Christmas gift; an Adidas Harden LS size 12, in white. I called before I went to the store and asked if they had this particular shoe and size in stock: I was told they only had one pair of that size and color left in stock. I drove to the store, once there I was informed that one of the shoes was a display model on the rack, the other was still in the box. The display shoe has some scruffs and the soul was discolored from people trying it on and walking around the store... Since this was the only pair left and considering the cost ($160), I asked if they would offer any type discount. I was told by "the manager" in a very rude, matter of fact tone "we don't offer discounts"! It was obvious she didn't care one way or the other. I wasn't asking to barter or take advantage - just if they would consider a discount since these shoes cost $160 NEW and one of the shoe of the pair was obliviously worn. Came here to buy kids basketball shoes. Found a pair of Jordans my son loved. The rep went in the back and came out with a completely different pair, mind you ugly looking pair, and said it's the only size 3 shoe they have in the store. . They were completely out of inventory. ''Tis the season to give service?! Apparently not at the Valencia footlocker. This is the time of year where associates in retail really can make the holiday experience enjoyable. I've worked in retail & management for over a decade, and I understand the stress and fatigue during holiday for associates, therefore I'm extremely empathetic. But the service I received was less than satisfactory! It was an hour before the store closed, the store was empty and many associates were available. I even had one less than 3 feet away from me, yet no one helped me or assisted me. I was ignored until I spoke up and asked for service. I asked for a size in the shoe I requested and was just told no we don't have the size and the associates walked away. I even tried to spark conversation with the associate because I truly needed assistance on picking another style similar. I also intended on finishing the rest of my Christmas list at the store. But instead the Associate walked away and proceed to talk to another associate. I can say although I live 5 minutes away I'd rather drive to another location to purchase my shoes In the future.
