I was hoping to find a specific pair of Skechers I had seen online so I could try them on and, if they fit well, purchase them at the same price or lower. When we arrived, I happened to run into a store associate and asked if they carried Skechers. She kindly walked me to the section where they were located and mentioned that they might have a few pairs in their Clearance section at the back of the store. While they did not have the pair I was looking for, I found several other brands, such as Cole Haan and Florsheim, that caught my attention, so I decided to try them on. In the end, we did not make any purchases this time, but we plan to return in a few weeks to see what they have then.

You know right away if the shoe on display has your size by looking down at the inventory stacked below. You won't find the latest greatest models of shoes but you will find something for your feet. Manage expectations. You aren't shopping at Nordstrom or even Neiman Marcus designer shoe parlours. I bought New Balance for my sweet mother in law. Then I bought a pair for my loving husband. They both LOVE their new shoes, the fit, and how it makes their bodies feel. I'm delighted that I have made straightforward no fuss purchases at a great price to persuade both of them to exclusively buy footwear that fits well from day 1 while supporting your body. I knocked off a star because while I do understand their great prices are due to self service and not stocking the latest style. I wanted the latest style New Balance like mine from Nordstrom. I was too lazy to drive to Nordstrom Corte Madera when I also wanted to take my MIL clothes shopping at the lovely Vintage Mall. They have different inventory online vs in person at this location so do check there as well. Lots of parking, easy try on and purchase, friendly staff, easy return/exchange. Get you a pair of shoes that make your body feel good.

I recently stopped by in search of new shoes for my travels, and I was blown away by the level of care, patience, and expertise that Chris and Mecque brought to the experience. They took the time to walk me through multiple shoe options, encouraging me to try on different styles and really pay attention to what felt good and what didn't. They didn't rush the process, and their knowledge and kindness made it such an enjoyable experience. It's rare these days to find that kind of thoughtful, patient service where the goal is to truly help you find the right fit--not just make a sale. Supporting local businesses like this is so important, especially when they go above and beyond to offer genuine, personalized service. I'm thrilled with my new cushioned shoes and feel so much more prepared for my upcoming travels. Huge thanks to Chris and Mecque for their care and attention to detail! If you're in the area, definitely check them out. It's the kind of shopping experience that reminds you why buying local matters.

Had such a disgusting experience shopping with this store on the SHOP app! I paid $282+ for these…read moresneakers which were a rare Nike Prototype and they really sent them in a shipper bag from CA to NY via USPS Ground! Of course, upon receipt, the box was crushed and torn in a corner. As you can imagine, I was highly disappointed and commented on their instagram page expressing my dissatisfaction. I then called yesterday on 03/22/2025 and spoke with a manager named Crystal. This woman was completely unprofessional, disrespectful and threatening! She was totally unhinged. Not only did she insult me, but she actually said I wasn't a runner (which couldn't be further from the truth as I actually run a 5k approximately 3-4x a week). She said I needed to "put on my shoes, go outside, be happy and smile." Unbelievably presumptuous and rude! Then she ended our call by hanging up on me right before calling me a scammer then she was going to report me to the Shop app. Even if I wasn't a runner, which I am, whether I chose to wear my shoes or take a dump in them is entirely my business! When I purchase something new, especially when it's close to $300, I would expect that not only the shoes, but the box arrives to me in new condition. To add insult to injury, she demanded I send the shoes back "in a box," which I found to be totally rich as they hadn't even sent it to me in a box! The woman is mentally unstable. I could even hear her shaking through the phone. Not once did I raise my voice or use profanity and her reaction was 100% unwarranted. Update: I'm changing my feedback from 1 star to 3 because apparently I was issued a refund, but unbeknownst to me. I only saw it appear on my account after the fact. As I had previosly mentioned to leadership, an apology would have gone a long way with me. No one was asking for money back or charity, but I appreciate the initiative nonetheless. I still feel the manager Crystal is problematic and should be spoken to by whoever she reports to in addition to receiving some much needed sensitivity and customer service training.

Shopping Experience at Nordstrom Racks…read more I am not a shopper! I don't enjoy walking from store to store in search of specific things or gifts, especially during the holidays! I want to walk into no more than three or four stores, get everything I need, and be done with it. That said, I enjoy walking through my favorite stores and checking out the goods without any specific purchase in mind. Sometimes, I find something I wasn't planning to buy, but I realize it could help me or make someone close to me very happy. I know this sounds confusing, but I think you get what I mean! Anyway, Nordstrom Racks is one of the stores I enjoy walking through. They are organized and carry well-known brands, which is not as important to me as it is to many others. This specific location is one of those stores that we visit often, and I have found and bought many items here. The staff has been helpful whenever I needed help, and we've never had any issues shopping here. The prices for certain items may be somewhat higher here than some other comparable stores, but if you do not have the time to go from store to store hoping for a better price, then it is worth it. The only drawback is that the racks can get very messy during busy shopping periods like the holiday season. So, it is always best to visit and get what you need before the crowds rush in and mess things up!
