I walked in and I guess it was Peter helping someone with same needs as myself so I just listened.

I really appreciate Chris, Mecque, Jacques, Jo Jo and others for hosting a friendly and welcoming…read moreSaturday morning run every week. I'm happy to support this store just because of the so many free events they've put on. Folks here love running. I'm sad to see many other reviews recently questioning professionalism, but personally I've had nothing but smiles here on a number of Saturday mornings.

Coming from a hospitality background, I always try to give the benefit of the doubt, but I was absolutely floored with her complete lack of professionalism and frankly odd behavior. I see from a number of other reviews, that my experience is unfortunately common with her. I had purchased shoes from their San Anselmo location just over a month ago -- receiving fantastic help by the way at that location. Fast forward 37 days and I noticed extreme wear to the outsoles of my shoes and they were separating in places. I found this very odd for such a short period of usage and I called the San Anselmo shop and they recommended I go to the Mill Valley location for help, which is where the alternate universe service started. Mecque looked at the shoes, aware that they had been used for just over a month, and replied this is not a fault with the shoe, it is a problem with how I walk...something to the effect of 'you do not pick your heel up enough and walk too flat'. Wait, what? Her first response was telling me that the shoe is fine and that I do not walk correctly! My intention was to first just show the shoes to ask if they were defective or if this was just an easily wearing shoe, not to demand a refund or anything like that. Instead, I was told my walking style was defective! But wait, there is more.... I had thought they would maybe exchange the pair for a new one, or perhaps help me find a shoe that might be a more durable one. When I started to inquire about this, Mecque abruptly stated that she was providing a full refund (again, I had not asked for this) and then she stated multiple times that I would be better served going to another store, because, get this, she told me she had limited time to help customers and that I was not the type of customer that she wanted to help. I was absolutely taken completely off-guard and stunned by her statement, but was able to keep my composure and ask if she meant that their store did not cater to walkers? She reiterated that I should find another store and listed off a few stores that I should go to instead. Really super bizarre behavior. With her declaring a refund as my only option, I even asked if the shoe company would reimburse them, and she confirmed they would, as the last thing I would want is to hurt a local business. Anyway, I would like to reiterate that I was super calm and friendly throughout and asked for nothing when I arrived, only asking their opinion on if it was normal for a shoe to wear out after just 37 days. I am writing this note as a word of caution and to reinforce the myriad similar interactions others have had with this manager. It was pretty deflating to have this experience with a business that I specifically sought out to locally support with a purchase that I really could use personalized, friendly help with. Anyway, hopefully she will at some point understand just how shocking and offensive her service is, and really aim to help all customers, not just the ones that meet her specific customer profile.

Fabletics is and particularly the VIP program and returns and customer service... horrible…read more I clicked on something to buy it cheap and was signed on without my awareness to a $59 monthly charge i was not even aware of. I received some bras that were fine and this outdoor jacket for 23 dollars that didn't fit right. At this point I engaged in a roughly 1.5 month struggle that time added up I probably spent 8-10 of the hours I usually earn 80 dollars for each one worked to try to return a 23 dollar jacket. I was sent a QR code. The customer service person said to bring it to USPS. I brought it there. They said no. I forgot about it and some time went by. I tried again at UPS and it wasn't the right UPS. Sad and demoralized, i gave up for a while and tried again. The code was out of date. I call customer servIce repeatedly and there were 200 - 250 ppl ahead of me?!?! I opt to hang up and get a call back and nobody calls back. I finally got a hold of a human again. She said she would extend the code . She sent me a new one. I went to the "Happy Retirns" location, how ironic.. it didn't work again the same day she updated it and emailed me the updated code?!?! I gave up and am looking for someone to give the jacket away too so I don't have to look at it anymore. Then the dreaded moment came; having to go on the website and use up the VIP points I I never wanted, and that by the way have no basis in actual value?!?! I could get a $99 outfit for a $59.99 VIP point (you get one point for 59.99) OR a $12 bra?!?! Please. Further, these much touted "outfits"?!?! Who throws these things together? They are mostly designed to look like mismatched workout clothes for women who want to pretend they're busy and just threw together some separates. Fableitcs is saying "to all you women who just can't figure out how to dress yourself to pretend you're fresh out of a workout, just wear these, Honey. There. There." Pathetic. I look through each and every "outfit" the customer service lady convinced me so effectively were worth me not deleting the VIP account and monthly charge. I couldn't find 1 (one) outfit that I looked at and made me think "hmm. There's an outfit!" Fabletics is targeting a uniquely vulnerable cash conscious woman who wants to look like she spent 200 dollars on athletic gear and to hook her a monthly subscription. Horrible. I deeply regret getting involved with this company and have 1 (one) t-shirt i like.

Great service. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable. And lots of sales and…read morespecials to add value.
