We actually liked the food from this kitchen a lot. Home style cooking, reasonable spices (if mild or medium) and not greasy.

We drove up, parked, and went to the ordering/pickup window. I looked at the menu and decided what I wanted. The man at the window took our order quickly, we paid and then found a place to sit. My husband and I decided to share the ADP Loaded Nachos. They come with Tinga Chicken, Queso, Refried Black Beans, Avacado, Beet Pico, Goat Cheese Yogurt, and Red Cabbage Salad. My husband ordered the special which was the Porkin Around Torta. It came with Pork, Aioli, Fennel, Brussel Sprouts and Jalapeno Apple Jam. I ordered the Deville Torta which comes with Chicken, Plantain, Pineapple, Queso, Chimichurri, and a red Cabbage Salad. The Nachos were really good. The Queso was spread out around the Nachos and it wasn't overwhelming. The Tinga Chicken was so good and also spread out around the nachos. They Put a small scoop of the Refried Black Beans in one corner and a small scoop of Avacado in the other corner. Both were fresh and added flavor. The Red Cabbage Salad on the top mixed with the yogurt and beet pico was delicious. The combination of ingredients was very tasty. I tried my husband's Porkin Around Torta and it was yummy. The Deville Torta was delicious. It was filled with flavorful Chicken. The pineapple, plantain, and red cabbage salad gave the torta a semisweet flavor. It was a delicious torta. Overall it was a good place to stop and eat. The ordering and pickup process was quick and easy, and the food was very filling and tasty.

The sandwich I was planning to order contained pesto with nuts so I just felt like that would be my best bet. I typically avoid this, but it sounded so good that I couldn't resist. The employee that took my order over the phone was wonderful. So friendly and made it super easy. My order was ready when I went in! There is a small seating area inside, but lots of benches and picnic tables outside, and it was the perfect day to enjoy an outside lunch! I ended up doing the 1/2 chicken & eggplant sandwich with a side of the brisket chili. All of it was absolutely fantastic. The ingredients on the sandwich tasted super fresh and went together really well. The brisket chili was delicious with a little bit of spice as well. Highly recommend if you haven't checked out this spot!

First off, our salmon for the salad was requested as medium and well-done, but they both came out about halfway raw. I have a particularly sensitive stomach so this was a concern. I didn't feel comfortable eating it but decided to bring it home and cook it some more to avoid wasting food. Secondly, the chai latte was sickeningly sweet- which we did bring to their attention, and they did their best to adjust it. This is my friend's favorite place and she said the salmon has never come out raw before so I might give it another try, but am definitely a bit wary on the lack of consistency in food standards.

It was So Good and healthy I added to my favorite places. I'm sure my micro biome enjoyed the variety of ingredients. Old school vegan in the Mueller food court…read more The park is beautiful. The food is good for you. A fine time was had by all. * * * The Mueller food court is right in front of that huge concrete semi-circular arch that is supposed to provide cover for outdoor athletic activities. When we were there medieval warriors were using it to practice their sword play, parrying and bashing. Armor is recommended when you are playing with swords and cudgels. The battlers involved were fully equipped. If Renaissance Fair fare is not your thing, in late afternoon, the park at Mueller is gorgeous. Lots of people are walk or exercise by the lake. If you are young and single, Well, wouldn't you know it, many of the walkers and exercisers are young and single too! If lake viewing or fantasizing is not your thing, you can sit over by Airport Boulevard. This is one of the nicer parts of Airport Boulevard. Warmly glowing parkland on either side on either side of the street vastly improve the quality of the view. Given its location, Conscious Craving can be a good place to hang out. * * * How is the food? Old school vegetarian - and that is a good thing. a) The smoothies are absolutely positively 1970s vegetarian. They are not made of carob - but they are of the carob generation. Expect low levels of sugar and a sense you are drinking something nutritious. They have their own quaint charm. b) Wraps are tasty. You get a wide choice of tortillas, veggies and soy based stuff to put in them plus the cook puts in all sorts of garnishes. There are sauces available - but the wraps are fine just as they are. c) Rosemary French Fries are decent enough. French Fries are the eternal proof That you can eat as vegan as you like and Still be eating stuff that is not all that good for you. d) The guy who runs the truck is a real charmer. He is too young to be Grateful Dead generation or Cheech and Chong ... but he has a lot of the coolness of those 70s heroes. e) I know what he means when he brags on the truck that his food is "made with love". I always see more meanings in that phrase than I am supposed to ... I have an awful mind. * * * Overall, Conscious Cravings serves decent food. The healthy diet will keep you alive and well to a ripe old age ... Mueller is a wonderful place to spend some time. If any of the medievalists in the back end up hors de combat from a too-well aimed shot with a broadsword or cudgel, Conscious Cravings will be just what they need to nurse themselves back to health. If you don't want to be quite as historical as the thirteenth century combatants behind you, You can still turn back the pages of the History Book ... To the days when Tofu was called Bean Curd and Nobody outside of Chinatown or vegetarian health retreats knew how to cook it. They have both tofu and seitan at Conscious Cravings. Long May You Live!

This place operates on a tab-based system, so no need to wait for a check, since the tab is opened for you before you're seated. This worked very smoothly! I've had their steak breakfast -- notably disappointing and grisly and flavorless. But they are known primarily for their lunch, which features a rotating menu, based on the day of the week, and the week of the month. They close for dinner. Enchiladas Thursdays can be a hit (or a miss); and more so depending on how meticulous their preparation of food was: stay hairs or stray plastic pieces in your food? Not too cool. They also offer some pre-prepared foods--salads, yogurt granola, sandwiches, some sweet baked goods like cookies or brownies. At the entrance will be examples of what is on the menu for the day. The grill line and non-grill line share the same space, but are separate. For non-grill, say whether or not you want it for here or to go, whether you want the vegetarian option or not, and then pick your sides. When paying, the staff have a dual POS setup to help with the flow.
