The potatoes were seasoned well, a good mix of crunchy bits and softer pieces. The eggs were textbook over easy. Couldn't have asked for a better breakfast. Much more tasteful than those egg muffins that one can purchase elsewhere at those widespread coffee shops. My partner had a #7 with a side of bacon including 2 eggs scrambled, 2 bacon slices, home fries, 2 pieces of toast and 2 thick tasty plain pancakes of which I had one. I don't usually have plain pancakes but these were very tasty and fluffy. Both of our coffees, hot and iced, came with free refills. Although I suppose if you want a beer with your eggs, have at it. The front and side walls have large windows making the interior bright. They offer so many specials. Check out all the white boards on the back wall above the counter seating. These are in addition to their standard menu. Breakfast items include egg based meals (eggs & bacon & toast for ex.), pancakes, hash and lots of al la carte sides. Coffee is good and comes with free refills. We were 4th in line, and then 2nd, and then 1st. I felt a vibration from the phone but saw no message. So I went to the desk to check, and they were ready anyhow with 4 empty tables. Seated us quickly and our waitress Ashley was there in short time. Paula (wifey) ordered some Egg Sandwich and a small order of French Toast. I ordered Southern Benedict, which was a buttermilk biscuits base, topped with a fried chicken patty, 2 poached eggs, and smothered in a creamy sausage gravy, and it came with an order of home fries. We were both very happy with the flavor and portions. In fact I was rather full and didn't eat the last 3 or 4 bites. I also had an iced coffee, which was nice and strong. Literally after like 3 back and fourths she finally understood me. And bright me a mug. She also seemed unfamiliar with the menu. The thing my son ordered came with bacon, ham, and sausage but she asked which one of the three that he wanted. We kept saying that all three of them are included and she kept insisting that we'd have to get it on the side until we showed her the menu. All of the eggs came out over easy even though I asked for medium. My yolks were 100% runny and I like them custardy. Some of the egg whites were still raw. Other than the sub par service the food was as expected.
