I had attended events at the same facility in the past and had nothing but good experiences. Unfortunately due to the pandemic of COVID-19 many of our guests could attend as groups greater than 10 were asked not to meet by the federal government. Knowing I could not prevent an act of God I decided to reach out to the Dino's event planning team in hopes that they would extend grace during this time. Unfortunately, I was mistaken. I was quickly reminded that my deposit was nonrefundable and I needed to pick another date. Knowing that a 40th birthday is a mile stone and having numerous guests come from out of town,rescheduling for whenever the coronavirus ends (by the way Ohio is still in the thick of it) is next to impossible task. Knowing that refunding money was not possible, I asked the Dino's event team if we could meet in the middle by, using our deposit toward their catering services since we are forced to host a small party in our home. This request was also denied. We are living in exceptional times and many businesses will have to make exceptions. My request was not for an exception but for an alternative use for funds I plan to spend with Dinos anyway. Please note my review is based on my personal experience. I've had good experiences at Dino's But beware if life, an act of God, our global pandemic takes place near the time of your event... There are no refunds!

The team working the service were awesome. Friendly and smiling! The food was amazing. I had the chicken piccata and my husband had filet mignon. The chicken was tender and the sauce delicious. My favorite was the green beans with red peppers. Really well done. The dessert was tiramisu. It was also well done. Great job Chefs! The entertainment was Disco Inferno. The cocktail hour was on a terrace - outdoors and rather chilly. And not wheelchair friendly as my elderly mom could not make it to this part. Uneven flooring, jammed with people and tables and chairs to maneuver. Plus there is no elevator to get her down from the reception area. Just bad planning on all levels (no pun intended). I think the food on the patio was good - it looked good but hubby wasn't hungry and there were so many people, I only ended up trying one chicken skewer thing as a waitress wandered by with a tray. It was very good. I also don't know about bar service as again - we don't drink and hubby never offered to get me a soft drink. Plus - no place to put it and eat while standing, too. So just was well. We were seated upstairs for the reception. The room has these huge metal black steel pillar-beams which blocked my view from everything happening - cutting the wedding cake, bridal dance, etc. And I was seated at the family wedding table. The room was too small for the size of the party. When the dancing started, the music was so loud those seated at tables could not talk. I don't think it was the DJ's fault for having the music too loud - we were just all crammed together right by the dance floor. One good thing - the food was absolutely delicious. I went crazy and had the beef. It was a huge serving. I would have preferred med-rare - but no choice given the size of the party. I was just happy to get a choice: beef, salmon, chicken. The squash was also fantastic - with asiago cheese. YUM! Don't know about the potatoes but they looked good. Rolls were average. Salad was good. And I guess dessert doesn't count as it was wedding cake. I do not recommend this venue for a reception for almost 200 people. Pick a bigger place. I don't imagine it was really worth the cost.

The decor was beautiful and well arranged. The AV equipment worked exactly as it should and everyone in attendance was amazed at how beautiful our venue was. The gardens were well maintained enjoyable for our guests. The restrooms were clean and easily accessible. No one would know that these weren't regular cupcakes unless you told them and the gooey frosting was definitely one of the most memorable vegan frostings I've ever had.
