We contacted Blue Ribbon Catering, and they were incredibly helpful. Not to mention, they were patient and kind as we asked a multitude of questions to gain clarity. Everyone was very patient, especially Melissa, with whom we were in constant contact regarding the event. She made everything so easy to understand. Many of our guests had different food allergies, and they were able to accommodate us as best as they could. Everything was wonderful, and people raved about the food. The team was very professional; they showed up on time and had the food ready to go. Prices were also very reasonable, which we really appreciated since we were planning a wedding on a budget. It was definitely worth it. We had Vanessa as our private caterer, and she was incredibly kind to every single guest. She even helped my mom set up an entire dessert table that my mom had prepared separately. Vanessa didn't have to do that, but she was willing to help. Overall, our experience with Blue Ribbon Catering felt very comforting and family-like. We highly recommend them, and if we have another event up north in Ohio, we will absolutely be contacting them again.

Updating my review…read more We were greeted with a smile and welcome as soon as we entered. The lady working the register was Zarena by the name on my receipt. There was only two people inside when we ordered. There were lots of people that came in while we waited for our food and picked up to go orders. First strike, we placed our order and was told they were out of crayfish for the grilled cheese, they were out of lamb and also out of water. We could see two bottled water in the cooler, but didnt push the issue when we were told they were out. I asked for ice tap water and was told they didn't have that. No biggie. We were going to eat in since it started raining but decided to do it take out, since we couldnt drink anything. Strike 2: the wait!!! The first time we came here was in 2024 when they were newly opened and remembered a wait then, but chalked it up to being a new establishment. We ordered at 7:11 and didnt get our order until 8:03. Strike 2 1/2 We realized at 741 that we were still waiting and inquired about hold time and was told 5-10 more minutes. Well it took more like another 20-25. At 8pm, my family decided if our order wasnt next, we would ask for a refund. Luckily, for them, we were next. Now the food: we ordered a perch dinner, a chicken rasta pasta and a Sweet chili Thai parm shrimp dish with fries. The rasta pasta was supposed to be spicy and was not at all. It was decent and rated a 7/10. The perch dinner and Thai dinner were both rated an 8/10 by my family. Be warned: Prices are increasing 4/13 per the signage. This is due to rising prices for food. I am uncertain if we will return, but if we do we will call ahead or order on an off day. I get that Saturdays are busy, but this area has too many restaurants for us to wait almost 1 hour for a fairly simple order. We did receive an apology that they were out of items we attempted to order. I feel like because they have a dining room, they should have drinks on hand. I dont know if they were short staffed in the kitchen or if they got slammed with online orders or a combination of the two. The dining area was clean and the televisions had closed caption so you could follow the action or any TV you chose.

While visiting the east side, I stopped at hooked at the behest of some nurses. I ordered a five piece chicken wings with barbecue sauce, macaroni and cheese and one piece of catfish. The catfish was great, excellently seasoned. The chicken wings were amazing. Even that little tiny piece of the wing was good and I nibbled the crunchiness off of that. The wings were on point, flavor, on point. Macaroni and cheese was just okay. If in the area, go ahead stop by. You won't be disappointed. Four stars easy. Let me edit, I took a second to take more than a nibble off of the catfish and Let me tell you that catfish is the truth, breaded and seasoned perfectly. I might add an extra star if I can. Yep, I did. The chicken was amazing and the catfish was amazing. The light was on my phone, so the wings were a bit brighter than normal in the picture

Favorites include their savory baked goods and cookies When it comes to lattes, so far I've liked their cinnamon brown sugar, and seasonal matchas (the coconut matcha a couple months back was good). It's good as dine-in (plenty of seating inside and outside, though still quite full on the weekends) and as take-out. Plenty of free parking available in a lot. Staff are friendly. Also last month I tried their restaurant week special (includes latte, panini, and choice of cookie or macaron). Ended up choosing the brown sugar latte (opted for oat milk), corned beef panini and gingerbread molasses cookie. All were good, the favorite and definitely would get again would be the latte. Also if you use the too good to go app, I love their bags (such a good variety with amazing value) which sell out in minutes. Definitely in my list of regular places to stop by.

I especially appreciated that they have a separate panini press for gluten-free orders. That kind of attention to cross-contact makes a huge difference! The PB&J cookie was so good, and my soup and panini were both great. It was really nice to have several gluten-free choices and have everything taste delicious. The only downside was the guy who took my order. He wasn't particularly friendly or welcoming and honestly looked and sounded like he would rather be anywhere else. Thankfully, the food more than made up for the less-than-enthusiastic service
