The best burger I've ever had in my life wow!!! First food stop in Toronto did not disappoint. I ordered the 2 meats and 2 slides platter (brisket and ribs were my meats. For sides I got dirty rice and onion rings). This truly could have been eaten by two people. Very generous portion sizes. The food Was tender and delicious. Meat was seasoned well. I got house BBQ and apple BBQ. Other people in my people got the burger fries and honey hot chicken sandwich. No complaints with the food. The customer service was wonderful. Pleasantly surprised to enjoy good bbq at reasonable prices. I got the $15 lunch box with brisket, beans and fries and really enjoyed it. My main complaint is that it wasn't enough meat but maybe I'm asking for too much at that price.. The fries were 5/5 excellent, the beans were very tasty and the beef had a delicious texture and flavour, especially with that strip of fat on every piece. Vegans need not apply. Some of the beef cuts were almost dry but that was easily resolved when lathered in mouth-watering hot sauces (northern heat & I can't remember the other but it was 4 's) My son got a dish with their "dirty rice" as a side and that was also well seasoned , is probably try it as a 3rd side next time.. We were in the area on a Thursday evening and decided to go in and have dinner. We have met the owner, Julian, before and he is passionate about his bbq so we were looking forward to trying it. Hubby got the brisket, coleslaw, beans and corn bread. He said it was all really tasty. The cornbread was soft and moist and the coleslaw was the tasty creamy kind. I have a lot of dietary restrictions so I was worried I wouldn't have anything to eat but I left full and satisfied. I had the veggie burger without the bun as they did not have a gf bun. Another customer behind me also asked for a gf bun. Not sure of the demand? Anyway, I had the burger with onions, tomatoes and pickles and it was good. I wanted to try the dirty rice but someone from the kitchen came and told me it's made with butter. I appreciate how seriously they took my "no dairy" need. I had sweet potato fries instead and they were SO GOOD with the spicy mayo. There are also lots of fun pops and drinks and candies you can buy. There was a constant flow of customers while we were there and some big guys from the gym next door coming to get their protein fix. It's a bit odd that it took me so long to get back to this place, since there's not too much like it in Brampton at all. I recall the BBQ I ordered years ago being pretty good, though it's too long ago to factor that in. I was drawn to revisit after having attended the event at their 'fly' location in Mississauga a few weeks ago and learning that the menu was also available here. Their 'fly' menu is largely chicken (wings and tenders) though does included shrimp. They've absolutely knocked it out of the park with their tenders being some of the best I've ever had. Their fried wings weren't anything exceptional, but they are bumped up by all the quality sauce options. Everything is made to order. Keep that in mind with your timing, but that's a huge plus for me. The value is pretty good as well if you get the combo which comes with fries and a choice of beans or coleslaw, along with a cornbread. The fries had a nice seasoning and the coleslaw was very fresh and perfectly dressed. The weight of this review comes back the tenders. Again, some of the best I've ever had, so I'll give 5 stars based on that easily. read more

I came with my appetite! I drove over to Food Fight BBQ on an early Saturday afternoon for a Yelp elite perk. I ended up buying an item, so this review will be similar to my perk experience. I got a pulled pork sandwich, with coleslaw, cornbread, and Pop Rocks. I looked at a can of Arizona hard green iced tea. I had never seen it before. I ordered one, but the nice woman apologized profusely for not having it in stock. It was okay. I went with the Smirnoff. I hadn't had one for a while. I used debit to pay for my vodka cooler. I tapped and was good. I left a tip in a cute tip cup. There was a family ahead of me. The girl was looking fondly at the candy section. So was I! I loved it. My favourite goodies, such as Kit Kat bars and M&M's were there. There is a bit of a wait. My wait was roughly ten minutes. It wasn't bad. I'm a patient person and candy accompanying me makes the time pass by faster! The woman was so accommodating. She saw me taking a photo of my goodies next to the light box and thoughtfully moved some things over. She even tried to light it up. Sadly, the batteries were dead, but I was good and let her know that she was awesome. I ate my food on the car. The pulled pork sandwich was outstanding! It was hot temperature-wise. The barbeque sauce was tangy and perfect. I loved the coleslaw in the sandwich. Such a southern touch! The bun was lightly toasted. It was the perfect pulled pork sandwich! The coleslaw is mayo-based, but not heavy at all. It was crunchy, bright, and exceptionally fresh. It may taste a bit bland on its own to some, but I liked its simplicity. Yum! I love the cornbread. It tastes like the cornbread at my favourite barbeque place in Charlotte, NC. Buttery, soft, and yummy. You get pickle slices off to the side. I ate them all and I'm not a pickle lover! The Pop Rocks were so fun to enjoy. I haven't had them since I was a kid.  I felt like one today. I'm a big watermelon fan and felt like this place knew me well! The food is decent. Service is good. The vibe is odd. A BBQ place that sells a lot of unique candy is weird but fun. The place could be much busier if they if they tweaked the decor a bit. The name of the place is fun and was a big part of the draw. The food is decent but not extraordinary. Would I come back? Yeah. It's cheap and cheerful. Food was decent. The cooks need to use a BIT more salt on the food. Mac and cheese needs to be completely revamped. I got to try some new chocolate bars I have never heard of before. Also some crazy Mountain Dew flavours that are very unique and different. Some cool bags of chips too. They sadly ran out of chicken and it wasn't ready when we arrived. One last thing. All of our meats were cold. I don't understand how how a BBQ place serves smoked meats cold. If the food was actually hot I would give them a 4 out of 5. This was the single most disappointing thing about this visit. To the owners of FFBB: serve your food hot. Use a little more salt. Fries and rings are low cost - give us more! As part of the Yelp Elite event, I had the chance to try their Pulled Pork Sandwich, Coleslaw and Cornbread. The food was ready to go in 5 minutes. The location was somewhat far from where I live so I was worried that the food would get cold by the time I get home. This was not the case, they kept the food hot and it tasted freshly prepared. The location could be a bit hard to find. The pulled pork was impeccable. The meat was not dry and there was tons of meat. The pork was juicy and sauced just at the right amounts. However, Coleslaw was rather underwhelming since it tasted bland. The sauce could have been stronger and the cornbread was dry unfortunately. The interior was decorated well with great atmosphere. I received the meal for free as part of the event, but based on their menu, pricing is affordable. They have daily specials from Tuesday to Sunday. I'm especially interested in the Wings Wednesdays and Rib Sundays. I look forward to trying their other BBQ items, especially "The Smoker" section, such as brisket or smoked ribs. read more

Sept 16/2020: This was a SOLID BBQ meal! We were served by the owner "Julian". Very polite & easy to deal with. The location itself was small maybe seating for 20-30 ppl but reduced due to Covid. It was clean & modern, so easy to eat in. As for the food...that's a all new story. It was delicious! The beef brisket was tender & lean. The pulled pork was moist, abundant & oh so delicious. I recently visited food fight BBQ for an elite perk and I was beyond excited as I've never had a pulled pork sandwich before. It was my first time getting an elite perk as well so it was so exciting. It was quite a drive from oakville but honestly, it was definitely worth it. Pulled pork: The pulled pork sandwich was amazing! I ate it in the car and the bun was still fluffy and toasty. The pulled pork was not too greasy, and had a thick BBQ marinade in it. It was tender and flavourful, i absolutely devoured it in 3 minutes. Definitely set up a high standard for pulled pork sandwiches in the future! I got the sandwich without the coleslaw in as i really wanted to focus on the meat. Coleslaw: The coleslaw was light and crunchy. Seemed extremity fresh, very good. Cornbread: I just have to mention that I've had many cornbreads in my life and I've never really enjoyed them, but this had exceeded my expectations. I was pretty filled after the sandwich and so i didn't think i would be able to eat the cornbread. But one bite of it, i knew i had to finish it. It was very moist and not dry at all which is surprising for cornbread. It was a little sweet and was served like a muffin. Best cornbread I've ever eaten. Customer service: The employees there were super nice and accommodating. I was given a reusable bag which is very environmentally friendly. The wait time for food was around 5-10 minutes but there were customers in front of me as well as uber orders so it made sense. We've ordered from here countless times and are never disappointed. Cornbread is amazing. They've recently changed the baked beans and they just aren't the same. Taste like Heinz canned beans. Nothing special. Service is hit or miss, depends who happens to be working. My husband felt judged by his large order when guy taking care of the front counter said, "are you sure you want all that?" Portions are large but not exhorbant. Seems like a fun place to hang when there is a game to watch. read more

So got a pork sandwich, with slaw and corn bread. Sandwich was nice, classic pulled pork with slaw, nothing fancy, but who needs fancy, I need taste!, and it had it!, the coleslaw on the side with boring, especially with it already on the sandwich, but adequate, corn bread with a nice little muffin, for sure, all in all a good meal, would definately go back, am sure everything there is good, classic bbq, what more can you ask for! Great food to come with a hungry stomach for. Came here to share the Yelp Elite perk with my beau, who happily ate the pulled pork sandwich, coleslaw and the cornbread that came with the meal. My beau really like the size and texture of the sandwich. Definitively filling and a good value. Luckily for me, we went on a Friday and as you can see on the Daily Special Poster attached, I got 15% discount on the a Fish Sandwich. Score!! It was crispy and not too deep-fried nor oily, which is a huge bonus for me. My beau and I turned the takeout from here into a takeout for 2 at a local park, because we were so pleased with everything that we ordered. Love how they had a candy bar and flavours of Arizona that I have never seen before, so naturally my beau and I also tried the watermelon and fruit punch drinks that were available. The clerk was friendly and efficient. He advised that cold drinks are available in the fridge to the side. The highlight of this Yelp Elite perk besides the free meal was the beautiful and highly reusable red Yelp tote bag that our meal came with!! Made our subsequent picnic so much more portable and convenient! Going to reuse this Yelp bag and further promote Yelp whenever I do takeout or buying food at a grocery store!! I arrived at around 1:30 on a Friday and they had a steady stream of customers ordering take-out. Some were ordering on the spot like me and others were just there to pick up. I ordered their lunch box and chose pulled pork, rice and coleslaw for just under $10. Other protein options include chicken and beef brisket (+$2). You can choose fries for your carb and grilled veggies instead of coleslaw. They were really generous with their portions (both meat and rice). And the food was still warm even though I drove for 30 mins before eating it. The pulled pork had a good BBQ flavour and was not dry. Was excited to find an email invite from Yelp. Drove to Brampton mid week for lunch. The young woman serving me was super friendly. We chatted while I waited for my food. Excellent pulled pork!! The meat was tender, juicy, well seasoned and sauced in a soft brioche bun. There was so much meat, it was packed!! There were a bit of left overs too. I couldn't wait to eat, so devoured my meal in the car while it was still hot and fresh. Saved the cornbread for last. All in all, very tasty. Bought two extra cornbread muffins and 4 Pop rocks. We discovered Food Fight because of Taste of Brampton; otherwise we probably wouldn't have found it because it's way on the other side of town from us. But it's totally worth the drive! Both my husband and I tried the Toronto Hot Chicken sandwiches with the fries. Pretty tasty. I've had real Nashville hot chicken in Nashville and this is pretty good! I was in the area last week and figured this was my chance to finally try Food Fight BBQ! I ordered takeout dinner for the family, 4 brisket sandwiches and 1 pulled pork. The brisket meat was fall apart and full of flavour. The buns were fresh and as someone who loves super saucy things, I didn't think this needed that because the smokey flavour spoke for itself. I'll admit that I actually saved my brisket sandwich for the next days lunch as I was out that evening. I was a bit nervous it would be soggy or would not heat up properly / dry out. Never assume! The sandwich tasted fresh and great even so many hours later. I wish there was a spot like this closer to me so I could go often. First of all. The girls working the front were very nice. The place isn't set up for indoor dining mostly. A bunch of teens sitting in the corner booth not even eating. Just chatting. We ordered the "platter" with brisket and pulled pork. And an order of the taters. I asked for jalapeño poppers but they apparently haven't had them for months. Why is it still on the menu. First of all it took FOREVER for the food to come. The brisket was ice cold and pulled pork was lukewarm. The bbq sauce was good and the cornbread was fine. Coleslaw had no flavour and was watery. Came here for lunch on a Fri. The restaurant has an open layout with lots of seating. They have all of the traditional BBQ options as well as a wide variety of sandwiches and burgers. I decided to go with the Notorious P.I.G burger which comes with an Angus Patty, Pulled Pork, BBQ Sauce, Onion Rings, Coleslaw and Bacon. We ordered the Sunday special. They have daily specials . I had the beef brisket sandwich and a side of onion rings. The beef brisket sandwich was very tasty. I would like more slaw in my sandwich. Also the brisket is more on the leaner side but that is my preference . My wife ordered the full rack of ribs with the mango habanero sauce with two corn muffins. The mango habanero sauce was so so good! A little sweet with a spicy bite. The corn muffins weren't my favorite. They were sweet and more like a cupcake mix. We ordered the fest #2 which includes 2 meats and 2 sides for $25.95 and added coleslaw for $1.00. It was nice how even the more expensive sides were included. You get a choice of sauces for the meats, which helped to elevate the smoked chicken. This is a great BBQ option in Brampton. Seems to specialize in burgers and sandwiches. I had a fantastic burger with very good fries on the side. It's licensed, but the selection is limited. Would love to see some craft options since they are only doing bottles and cans anyways. The house hot wings are HOT. It's a dry rub that is still flavourful and not just hot for the sake of it. We grabbed dinner here tonight. We had two of their burgers, one topped with brisket, onion rings, coleslaw, bbq sauce and the other topped with pulled pork instead of brisket. The burgers were cooked too long, a little dry and charred. The pulled pork was very good, but the brisket was a little on the dry side as well. We also had the pulled pork sandwich which was very good. For sides we had some sweet potato fries, nice crunch and good seasoning, and some onion rings, a little too thin and too crunchy, not what I'm looking for in an onion ring. Horrible customer service! Hubby ordered the family feast for mothers day, he spent $100 for a meal supposedly for 4 - 6 people and they sent 1 muffin shaped cornbread! When he called to talk with the restaurant the owner was rude and unwilling to hear him out. Businesses need to understand that customer service is just as important as the food they serve because we have other choices and this is definitely the LAST time we will patronize this establishment. We usually order from another BBQ place which unfortunately is closed on Sundays and Monday. Regarding the food - the cornbread is made in the shape of a muffin so two of us split the cornbread and the other 2 didn't get any. The ribs were hard and barely enough wings for the 4 of us, the wings were tasty although personally don't like breaded wings. The mac n cheese was a bit tasteless. I based my rating on the fact that the food was mediocre and the service was awful so I gave them a 1 if there was an option for 0 I would've selected that. read more
