I was able to get the brisket sandwich and it did not disappoint. I wish I'd gotten one to take home. You see, a lot of folks who want to open a restaurant start with a food truck these days because (in part) the costs of entry and operation associated with brick and mortar are much higher. So logically, given lower entry and operating costs, the price of a meal at a food truck should be lower than for the equivalent item at a brick-n-mortar eatery. But this rarely if ever seems to be the case locally, and indeed, everything seems to be a dollar or two more expensive than I'd expect at a brick and mortar at this food truck given my visit to the Screaming Goat. I will say their menu is generally more ambitious than most food trucks I have encountered. Many local food trucks feature as few as 3-4 items with a very simple ingredient list. Many of the dozen or so menu items here have a dozen or so ingredients, and are generally unique combinations of flavors one is not likely to find elsewhere. The Mac Daddy ($8) is one of the least complex items - basically a grilled cheese with bacon and mac-n-cheese - and I have heard considerable good word-of-mouth on this one, but it came off as plain and bland to me. The bacon was there texturally, but somehow lent no flavor to the sandwich. I didn't pull off the bread to check for the presence or absence of cheese, but if some was there, I can assure you I didn't taste any. The mac was itself very bland, with almost no cheese flavor when sampled by itself, and unfortunately overcooked to mushiness. I think this would also have been a bit better if the bread had been grilled a tad longer, but as you can see from the picture it only reached a light blond color. I also wish they'd have cut the sandwich in half for easier handling. Now, before you ask me if I'd like some cheese with my whine (and the answer to that will always be an unqualified YES!), let me say that the "Crackhead" fries ($3) were by far the better of the two items I have tried there. I love sweet potato fries, and the marriage of honey and whatever slightly caliente spice mix they use was very, very good; with the only problem being that there wasn't much of it and what was there was not well distributed - strong flavors on one fry while another was almost entirely unseasoned. If all the fries were seasoned properly, I'd call this a 5 star item. One other minor issue - these were served in an open fry boat like I was going to sit down there, but there are no tables. Should have been packaged in a manner more suited to takeout. I was told that the menu was seasonal, so once summer winds down the menu may well be partly or even entirely different. Service was affable and quick. I forgot to ask if they take credit cards, but will do so on my next visit, where I will ask for extra seasoning on those fries :-) 4 stars for the fries, 2 stars for the mac daddy sandwich and other issues = 3 stars overall

I never got a response from my survey, so I'm posting my review online. This was a horrible experience. First, the wait was incredibly long and people who came after me were getting their orders before me. When I noticed it was happening, I was told the "new girl" was doing my order. It took about half an hour to finally get my order - Taro Milk Tea. Second, the staff were literally standing and doing nothing but talking at some points when they were so far behind. There was no hustling to get orders completed like at Starbucks. Third, I left the shop with my order. It was the most disgusting drink. It had clumps of powder and hadn't been mixed right. I ended up throwing it away after trying to mix it in myself. It just wouldn't. What a huge disappointment after waiting so long and paying that much for a drink. I did request the company refund my card and gave them all my information including order #. I never heard back and didn't get my refund. Fourth, when I tried to find this place to give it a review I found it under Millions of Milk Tea (parent company) instead of Drop in Tea which is who sent the text to me. I'm not from the area, so I didn't remember what the actually name was on the shop front. I can understand that places are having trouble getting staff or keeping staff, but this was pure chaos on so many levels. I see I'm not the only one having a problem. [TLDR]Tasty but small and expensive slices of pizza[/TLDR]…read more The menu here is very limited - basically slices of pizza, and maybe a salad or an italian sub, and you cannot customize the slices - they have a plain/cheese slice, a pepperoni slice, and a specialty slice that varies. You want sausage and onion? Bacon and green pepper? Ham and pineapple? No can do unless that just happens to be the specialty slice they have that day. This is not to disparage the business, as they have limited space for product, but rather so the reader sets their expectations accordingly. That said, the slices are pretty good. The weak link is the crust, which is the type people sometimes call thin but is really medium thick, fluffy, no crispness, even on the edges. The cheese is good quality, nice and salty. The sauce is the strength of the slice but they use too little of it, possibly to make this a less messy offering, but really, they'd be better off emphasizing their strength here. While the slices are tasty, they are small and expensive for what you get. 4 dollars for a slice only slightly larger than my hand, and they do not offer the plain slice for less money than a topped slice. Not a good value proposition. 1 slice will not be enough for even the a light appetites, and 2 will not be enough to fill up a normal eater, and you're already at 8 bucks for 2 slices, which is a good bit bit more than I want to spend on lunch, particular a no-frills lunch like this. I was told that they can sell a full sized pie as well though this isnt on the menu. I did not ask about pricing.
