Super helpful, quick and fairly priced to fix my tire. I brought my car in without an appointment and they helped me right away.

This place was a totally life saver for me this morning I was doing some work just right up the street from this wonderful place and I noticed one of my tires getting flat because the tire valve was broken and leaking air luckily I was able to make it to this place just before it was completely out of air, their team was ready to work as soonest I parked I just had to check in their office spoke to some gentlemen Im assuming the owner or the manager told him I need a valve replacement and he said he had to check my tire to make sure it was still a safe one a crew member was already standing by my van waiting for the man's command and rapidly proceed to replace it and I was out of there very quickly. This was my first time there ever and I will keep coming back to them for sure I can tell that they are a trusting shop. Don't hesitate to stop by if you are in need for auto repairs price was good, thank you so much for helping me today!! read more

Was driving to San Diego and a piece underneath my friends car became loose and was dragging on the ground. No other shops would take the car because of its price and lowness to the ground. We pulled in and they took care of us ASAP in and out in 20 minutes with quite literally the kindest service I have experienced in the car industry. Thank you so much for taking care of us so last minute and only 20 minutes before closing!!! read more

I took my car to Fonseca's to repair an oil leak that I thought was caused by the oil pressure sensor. Elsie called to tell me it wasn't the sensor but a leak around the oil pan seal and did I want them to continue. I said yes and it was nice of them to reach out and give me the choice. While the pan was off they discovered some other mechanic had dropped a bolt into the pan and a gasket came off a fitting and was in the pan as well. They showed me a filter screen that was covered in material that looked like mud. They cleaned the screen, took out the trash that was in the pan and continued w/ an oil change. The car sounds great now. If you need repairs on your vehicle, the folks in the Fonseca family are reliable, honest and careful with your money. It's why I'm a customer for life and you should be too. read more

I bought a new truck 2-3 years ago now, and on the WAYYY home from the dealer . Got a hole in my tire! so bummed ! drove over there and asked them if they could fix the hole or even if it was fix able. they fixed it. when I asked them how much, they were like don't worry about it , enjoy the truck . I had let them know it was the trucks first day out the lot! with that said though that hole fill , patch thing it lasted 40,000 miles plus ! I put 2200 pounds in the bed of the ol girl and the plug STILL STAYED!!! I was very impressed! i also put a harley in the back of the truck and drove from here to tennesee and back very impressed! so when I needed new tires I knew I needed to go to them! I ended up getting a deal on facebook marketplace for some tacoma take offs for a really good price. but I came to the Fons to have them installed and balanced . as well as the tpms sensors moved over! always a chill cool , SPEEDY vibe! I have brought friends and family here for tire work. its the spot! very impressed ! read more

A lot has changed since Juan has moved to El Camino Real from the Industrial Park. His wife has come to work with him and she has to have the worst customer service skills. Her attitude definitely leaves a lot to be desired. :( Juan now charges $30 to plug a tire (was $10 before). His prices on tires have skyrocketed (was very competitive on new and used tires). Now used tires are the price of new tires and new tires are 30% above Costco and other tire stores. I have been going there 10 years and have been very happy. This past year customer service continues to erode while prices go up exponentially. In my humble opinion the recipe for disaster. His family has been forced out and replaced with his wife. Will never go again. read more

Needed an oil change, gent didn't hesitate to take me with out making an appointment. They worked supper fast, I was on my way in no time.

I had an amazing experience with this company. I originally called because I was stranded on the side of the highway, and needed to get a new tire. One took my call and was able to provide me with the information I need to have my vehicle towed to his business. Once I got there, he and his staff changed my tires and got me back on the road in under half an hour. His wife was delightful, answering all of my questions. And what was one of the most stressful days that I've had in a long time, this business really came to the rescue. Exceptional prices. Exceptional service. Exceptional employees. And just an amazing all-around experience! read more

Called on a tire losing air. Said come right over. Found a nail and fixed it immediately. Highly recommend this business. Reasonably priced.

SCAMMERS/CHEATERS!!! I would not recommend them! They made my problem on my car worse, they don't even know what they're doing, they rip you off, they said it was ready when it wasn't...THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU!!! It's hard to find an honest mechanic. Not to mention the guy is rude too. *SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY* Yeah you owner could reply back what ever you want but you can change the FACTS! read more

This place offers more than tires. I Just had a new motor installed in my Suburban, which included rebuilding the transmission. The beast runs perfectly. Personally being in the automotive business, I'm into details....... Details were not overlooked. Everything was spotless on the entire car. I would give 10 STARS for their impeccable work. REASONABLY PRICED. Thank you Juan and your incredible team. Jim Tebbetts, Southcoast Muffler read more

What started off as good service turned into a lack of consistency. I went and asking these guys for a minute paid favor as I was swapping my rims and tires, where they committed to doing the job and then regressed. Unbeknownst to them I spent a long time changing my plans to accommodate the favor that I was paying for them to do so when they regressed . it really screwed up my day with nothing accomplished, except for buying a very unsafe used tire cash no receipt very shady. Super disappointed. After talking with a lady there and a young guy the young guy sent me to Hollys Tire down the street where they took care of me immediately and laughed at the lack of consistency they keep hearing about from this place. Thanks for recommending Holly's. read more

I highly recommend Fonseca tires! We got right in and out! They were so friendly and efficient! Added bonus....an adorable French Bull Dog named Brownie to play with while you wait! read more

Called ahead for an estimate quote on brakes and actually it went pretty well. They were close by and they took a look, even sent me a video of what's going on with the car. The amount of quality services and them breaking down what's going on with the car, the fact that they actually show and tell you what's going on and what's needed to be done; is something not many places do. Educational yet informative on the cost, no scams here nor the BS on necessary charges, they actually break down on parts and labor. Honest people with honest work. Just like the good old days. Definitely coming back for my car maintenance, I can see why the other reviews have clients coming back for many years. read more

I have a Tesla. A week ago, got a flat and had to replace the tire. The cost at American Tire in Santa Marguerita was 300.00, installed. Fonseca charged me 400 for the exact tire. I had no choice but to pay. read more

I have to say that Fonseca Jr Tires is a life saver!!! My family and I were on a trip up to LA from San Diego and had a flat tire on the freeway just north of the border patrol station. We found them on google and rushed right over. They took amazing care of us and replaced all 4 tires and gave us an alignment for the same price as two tires at all the other places we called. They were friendly and got us in and out on a Saturday afternoon in just 45 minutes. They even had donuts in the waiting room for the kids!!! If I lived closer I would never take my car anywhere else. Thank you Fonseca Jr. Tires!!!! read more

You guys... BEST PLACE EVER. I just came in because I got a flat tire and they changed my tire within 10 minutes!!! I was freaking out because this has never happened to me before (by myself at least) and the lady at the counter was so kind to me about everything. Best part: THE PRICE and how friendly everyone is. 10/10 PLACE!! read more

I needed some used tires for a trailer I recently purchased and went onto Yelp to see who in San Clemente sold used tires. I found Fonseca tires on Yelp and had a great experience with them today. They offered two nearly new tires for a very reasonable price and put them on immediately. I then realized I needed to have my tires on my Sequoia rotated and again they took care of it immediately. Juan is the owner and has been doing tires in San Clemente for 10 years. He and his brother were great to work with. I highly recommend these guys! read more

Wow, so great! My usual place was super busy for a last min nail in my tire. I went to Big O tires when the manager told me "Sure, pull into the bay". So I moved my auto into the bay and he tell his guy to check my tire pressure, the guy filled my tires with air and told me "all done"... ugh! I just left, that was truly a bad sign! I quickly called Fonseca and they said They were busy but communicated that clearly and told me to come back at 2:30. I came back, they fixed my tire super quick and were super personable. I LOVED IT! I love small business owners and I will for sure be back again, if I have car problems! Thank you Fonseca Jr tire family! read more

I've gone here twice: once for a tire repair and a second time for an oil change and general inspection. Both of the times I've been here, I have been so happy with how quick and efficient the service is and how friendly the lady at the front desk is. It's so difficult to find a car place that is honest and efficient, and Fonseca Tires is both. I will definitely come back. read more

Yes agree with Corey below, the wife has horrible customer service skills. Bought tires there and came in for nail patch. Charged me $20 for it? Really? America's Tire offers free repairs regardless if you bought the tires from them. Supported the business during Covid but what a mistake. Not again. All over $20 and a nasty attitude! read more

I had a balding tire that needed to be replaced, they had to order one for my specific car, prius V but it took only a day prior to installation. Amazing service, value and professionalism. In addition i also had an oil change done there as well which went quick and efficiently, their prices are fair and affordable too! I recommend them to anyone in san clemente as they do offer other services . Thanks a lot ! read more

Great service! I called a head of time to see if they had the used tires I needed for my suv. They were quick friendly and efficient! I love how it's a family owned business. The office receptionist was knowledgeable and even gave me great pricing for brakes. I will be back for sure! read more

Took my car in for a tire repair and it was super quick and easy. Super friendly family owned business. Look no further!

Had tire nail near edge of tread lose to sidewall, went to tire place in san clemente who refused to patch due to location. Then tried fonseca, no issues, patched and took 5 min. Didn't have to remove wheel from car. Charged $20 - most places charge anything, but I give them a pass for willing to repair based on location of nail read more

I needed an oil change and tune up on my 2006 hatchback and the guys here took good care of me and the car. They were fair and honest. I'll definitely be coming back. They recommended flushing the brake fluid and transmission fluid as well since it had never been done in 147k miles so I had it done. Good people. read more

Huge shoutout to the guys at Fonseca for helping with a quick repair on my Ferrari 488 Pista! Helped out majorly in the pickle I was in!

After taking my SUV into Big O Tires to have a slow leak in one of my tires repaired, I discovered the culprit was a large screw in the inner sidewall of the tire. They were unable to repair the damage but they did refer me to Fonseca Jr. Tires. As soon as I pulled up to Fonseca Jr. Tires, Juan greeted me with a smile and asked what the problem was. He offered me a great price on a used tire with a similar amount of tread left on it. Juan and his employees had the new tire balanced and on the tire in less than 30 minutes. I definitely recommend Fonseca Jr. Tires if you're in need of a new or used tire. Thanks Juan. read more
