Terrible experience. I called to reserve a table and they said that I don't need one because they had tables available. Johnathan Arguello walked the 3 of us to a tiny table with tiny stools that is for 2 people, at the most. We told him we were having dinner and the 2 men in my party are pretty tall guys, but he refused to change our table. There were many bigger tables available. I come often thanks to their lunch specials. The food is really good every time, it reminds me of a home cook meal. I have tried plenty of their meals and never has been disappointed, their meats are not hard, beans are fresh and the rice is always tasty. The fish is also really good, but I say just stop by if you are in the area and take a chance on their special of the day. (I don't even find out what they are serving, I just go) The parking situation is pretty easy since it is located inside a Plaza with other restaurants. The service is superb all of the girls are really nice, they are also smiling and willing to have a conversation. They are super quick as well and never had any issues with anything I order or their attitude. The only reason why I can't give it 5 stars is because it is a little too dark for a daytime restaurant, this place also serves as a bar but I have never been during that time. Don't run away because of the 4 stars, trust me that I you will like their food and if you want to actually stop by for happy hour it seems like it is fun. read more

First time being at this location, restaurant was empty just us and and another table, I ordered a chuleta valluna that had an orange slice garnish on top I removed it and began eating my food, my toddler took a bite out of the orange and spit it out , we checked it and it had mold. We immediately let the waitress know which we asked for the check right away , waitress comes back to notify us the manager told her it was not mold but the knife they used to slice the oranges, mold was undeniably present , the manager never came to address the issue with us , we left the food half way touched as we were disgusted. We have been to other locations and never had an issue needless to say we will not be coming back as clearly they present a health hazard serving moldy food and management lacks professionalism. read more

Great music, great vibes and good food. I went at night on a Saturday night, the place was not as busy as expected. I have to say the service seemed as though they were extremely busy. We had two servers somehow, and both were quoting different prices for the same food. The place is VERY overpriced, for things that are rather underwhelming. We got a bucket of águila beers for $30 and only comes with 5 beers. The first server asked for $25 and the second one charged us $30. We asked to speak w the Manager, did not have the courtesy to come to the table. Another waitress came and took the plate said we'll remove and bring it w sauce only, it appeared to be a clam sause, we said we didn't want it, we were done eating and had fed our son from our plate. On Sunday we went to this so called fonda to celebrate a friend's birthday. At the entrance they have 4 bouncers patting down all men and opening women's bags. Not a welcoming start. That tells you something about the place. But the most ridiculous thing was that they don't allow people in shorts or sandals! Yeah, in Florida. Of course a few of us were wearing such garments. We tried common sense to no avail. They preferred to lose our business, mind you we were a group of 20, than stopping being discriminatory. In the end, we decided not to tolerate the nonsense and went to El Patio were there were no bouncers at the door but friendly hosts who would not discriminate their customer. At El Patio we had a great time until 3:00 am. Their food is great, plenty of drinks and good live music. We don't understand why a business discriminates so blatantly and makes 20 clients to swear to never come back and tell others as well not to do it. Hurray for shorts and sandals. Freedom! read more

They were letting in other people, saying they had wrist bands. When they were going to allow two others without, I said it was time to attend us. But again the manager was very rude. He said we had to buy a bottle to sit inside. I agreed and he still said we had to wait because it was full. Even the bouncer apologized saying he hates how they run the place. At this point, I was not going to give my money to a place like this and was leaving. A woman that was leaving the bar, asked me, why was I leaving and mentioned that there were plenty of seats. There was another couple behind us that had the same issue, obviously they didn't fit their standards either. The only thing that lights up the place is a few beer signs and some Christmas lights. The place was almost empty at lunch. The server was dressed in typical Colombia clothing and she looked pretty.
