Oh boy. It would be nice. But it has become an open air homeless shelter and meeting spot, in full view of city officials. Sometimes there are crowds playing basketball and other games, and then it's OK, but during other times, especially near the playground, there are a lot of homeless hanging around. Once I saw one with his pants down. Right next to the primary school next door. This park could be so nice, but neglect has turned it into a real blight. Maybe the city tolerates it to avoid the homeless scattering into other parks. Or maybe they just can't be bothered. They clearly know about the problem because city vehicles are at the park all the time, including police. read more
