We come here 1-2x a week even though it's far from our place. We enjoy it & our dogs love it as well. Chairs and water buckets provided which is really nice and convenient. If your dog needs space and you like to walk or do laps with your fuzzy buddy, THIS IS THE PLACE. It's a nice large basin with trees, lighting and a timid dog area. You can find pretty much the same group of people every evening or morning. Friendly too. The only bad part is the only water is located by the door, so if your walking on the other side of the park, you should bring a cooler. Took our dog to the park for the first time. This park is well maintained and clean, There are water fountains for the dog and owner, as well as bags to clean up after your pooch. Large area for dogs to play around. There is a separate timid area as well. The grass is dead but it's nice to actually find some grass in Arizona instead of the rocks. I find it that the larger the dog area the less fights seem to happen with dogs. Love this park. read more

It's a very impressive space for fur babies. Spacious, nurtured grass, and lots of doggie bags. It's a bit of a drive, though. I think I liked it more than my dogs. When we got there, they sniffed around for a few minutes and then my snobby Chis walked up to the gate and looked at me as if to say, "there's nothing to see here. we're ready to go." This park is awesome. Coming from the Chicago area..I was used to dog parks that required a ton of paperwork and an annual fee to join. And that's IF they had room for a new member. This park is FREE. No paperwork needed. Awesome. It's a HUGE fenced in field for your dog to run around like crazy. There is a large fenced off timid dog area as well. I find myself forced to use this section with my small dogs because almost all the dogs running around the field are big and rowdy. Most of the dogs are well behaved...but obviously dogs will be dogs. Note to fellow dog owners: If you know your dog is short tempered or you're not SURE how it's going to act around other dogs...leash it for a couple visits to get it used to the park/dogs. You can tell when all the newbies are there because more fights happen. There is a water fountain near the entrance. I suggest bringing some kind of container to fill up on your way in. There are plenty of tennis balls scattered on the ground for you to use. And people are pretty good about cleaning up the poop. From what I hear, they're closed on Thursdays for maintenence....clean up...whatever. Mornings seem to be better than evenings. There are more of the "regulars" in the morning. Evenings tend to have younger people with rowdier dogs that misbehave more. Just a tip. Seriously, don't bring your dog if it's an asshole. People WILL call you out for it. ;) read more

This dog park is overall amazing and the maintenance is well kept up! My dog loves to come here and play with the other pups. There's plenty of water to drink and tennis balls to play with, not to mention how much room there is to run and play. The only problem is that a lot of owners tend to bring their dominant/aggressive dog here. Some of these owners come very often and have bitten my dog before. If you have an aggressive dog, please leave them home or at least put a muzzle on them. It's not fun for the other owners or their dogs. Also, I really wish they would put down on the maps when it's closed. I already know it's closed on Thursdays, but often will be closed due to natural disasters, and I don't know until I get there and see the sign. Just to make it easier for owners so that they don't have to drive all the way over there just to see that it's closed. read more

This place is the cleanest, largest and most friendly dog park in the east valley. My Dog absolutely loves this pace and there are dog lovers who show up regularly. Look for a huge dog the size of a bear named Sneakers, he's a lovable giant who can fit six tennis balls in his mouth at once! read more

Loved this dog park! Its huge, green grass, trees for shade and benches all along the perimeter to sit down. What I really like, is at the entrance, its a little above where the actually grassy area is and is open, not narrow, so all the dogs don't pile up on ya when you come in, very nice. I didn't see any "poop" bags. I saw walmart type plastic bags, which I never use, because they arn't biodegradable, so basically when one is used, whether you realize or not, its being saved for posterity in our local landfill. I will definitely bring my dogs here again. read more

We love this dog park. It's always clean and well kept. The actual dog part is huge and there's lots of trees and some hills for dogs to roam around. There are also various toys and balls for the pups to play with. The people we've encountered there are really nice and social with the pups and others. I also enjoy that there's a kids playground next door so we can hit up that one for my daughter while we're there! read more

I have visited many parks and this has been my favorite so far. Bigger space for dogs to around and an area for small/timid dogs and and a lot trees and shade. There is water buckets that are there for dogs and a easy water nozzle to refill water buckets. A lot of friendly dogs and people. And usually very clean as people clean up after their dogs. although closed on Thursdays and everyday from 12pm-1pm for maintenance. My dogs love going here. read more

My puppy Charlie is only 6 months old and hasn't had much socializing but this place was perfect. As soon as we got to the park we noticed that their were poop bags located at the front. On this visit they were empty however it looked as if someone left some grocery bags as a substitute. Also, there is a water fountian for the dogs located on the ground. Another great thing about this place was the fact that there is an area for timid dogs. I wasn't sure it was going to be a problem letting Charlie off his leash. The park is very large with trees and lots of running room. It is all fenced it so you don't have to worry about them wandering too far. I will definitely be taking him back! read more

Best dog park in Mesa... large area for dogs to play in.. tons of free poopy bags available, and theres even an option for us humans to exercise! Shoot if I walked this entire dog park 3x with my dog I would feel like I deserved an award (like some icecream perhaps?) because I totally deserved it! Dogs love it here. Lots of space, well kept up, and always a variety of friendly and fun dogs to run around with! There is one water fountain but it is by the entrance, so a lot of dog owners bring a small cooler or large bowl and put water closer to where the dogs are running around. Bags are available for messes, but they are supplied by the dog owners so feel free to bring some if you have extra lying around :) Nice area for small dogs too separate from the bigger space in case your little guy doesn't want to run around with the big guys! read more

Layla (my puppy) and I love this place! I call it 'puppy paradise'. It has no thrills or extras, just a large running area and pretty darn good people. I take Little Miss Layla there about 5 times a week and she loves it. The other people that frequent this particular dog park are loving dog owners and it makes us both feel safe going here. Closed every Thursday. Nice park for when we I visit in laws in the East Valley. Great and super spacious area for your dog to run around. Super clean as well. Several benches/seating areas. My only frustration is that there is not a designated "small dog area" and large breed area. Only Sections designated as "timid dog" area and other. Owners appear to lack insight around what classifies a "timid dog." My puppy is a larger more playful breed. It can be daunting for a smaller dog when she attempts to interact with them. I didn't enjoy running after her to avoid contact while the smaller breed owner stood there anxiously. My dog came to the park to play and interact,if your dog prefers to not interact with other dogs or expend energy by running then maybe the timid area is best for you. read more

This park is far better than Cosmo for several reasons: 1. Much cleaner. 2. Easier walk from parking to the entrance 3. No lake. My dogs don't swim and even if they did, I wouldn't allow them to swim in disease ridden Cosmo. 4. Smaller crowd 5. Seems like the same people show up all the time 6. Dog owners at this park seem to be more educated about dogs and appear to be more responsible. 7. Easier to get to know other dog owners based on 4,5, and 6 above. The only downfall is that it is closed on Thursday nights for maintenance. read more

This is a fantastic dog park! I was thrilled to find one so close to home and it is HUGE! Lots of space for dogs to run. They also have a space for timid dogs and lots of benches under shade. This was my first trip and it certainly won't be my last. read more

This a very nice dog park if you have a large dog or more dominant as they have devoted all the room to that area. The other side a lot smaller for the timid dogs or puppies. I must say the large dogs were having a lot of fun. I will more than likely return once my pup is a lot older. I do wish they provided better access for the people in wheel chairs as it is difficult getting around. read more

It was a very nice dog park. I've never been to another so I can't really compare but it was a huge area full of green grass and trees. The people were nice and dogs were running around freely and getting along too. There are a bunch of plastic walmart bags which is really my only complaint, but the owners here are always really responsible about cleaning up so the park is always clean. There is also an area for timid dogs. I would highly recommend although I don't think I will be coming back soon (my dog is a little aggressive) read more

I took three of my longhaired dogs there last night. Although the park was generally ok and clean, there is some kind of weed or tree seed/sticker EVERYWHERE! My dogs (and ourselves, clothing, etc) are COVERED in these things! I had to buy a flea comb and am painstakingly trying to comb these nasties out of their coats...not an easy chore, when they are squirming and would rather play. I will have to take them for some serious grooming early next week (soonest I can get them in). Heavy sigh! read more
