I love the uniqueness of this park The lake, the library, the kid swings, the musical instruments, all so fun. It's clean and well kept. I was really impressed by this park today! Took my 2 and 4yr Olds here early and only two other people there. Park has some real novel playground equipment that I haven't seen before. Love that they have a traditional area, a smaller kids/learning area, climbing area, musical area, and a zip-line area. Take a look at some of the pictures. And when you're bored with that you can get over to the pong to check out the ducks. This is one of my favorite parks I've been to and I travel around looking for new parks to take my kids to! read more

This is one of my son's favorite parks but we haven't been in a while because we do not live close to it anymore. This was my first time coming with my smaller child. I didn't realize that it's not super small child friendly until we went today (1/3/24). It's still an awesome park but mainly for bigger kids. There's plenty to do for them. This is a picturesque place to have a picnic or dine al fresco. We got some takeout nearby and brought it here to eat lunch. There are a few shaded benches with lovely views of the lake. I really appreciate the shaded structure because that heat is no joke in the summer! It wasn't too busy when we were here and it was a nice little place to unwind and relax. There were some golfers here too so we got to watch their putt-zing around on the greens. When it gets cooler I'd love to explore more of what this park has to offer. For me, there was not much to see here. There is a pond. Sometimes there are ducks. There is a play set. There are patios. The patios are usually full of people. Sometimes when it rains the pond can get flooded and that is fun to see. Otherwise it may be too hot in the summer to go here. This park is adjacent to the Dobson Ranch library. They also have a basketball court too. The court is often crowded on the weekends and evenings during the fall and spring months. During the summer and winter months it is usually empty. There is a small amphitheater at the back of the library in the park area where people can sit. The amphitheatre has concrete slabs that are kind of like steps where people can sit and see someone talking at the front but it isn't covered or enclosed. The library has some meeting rooms. Overall, it's a nice place for kids to play during months with good weather. read more

Dobson Ranch Community has multiple cool parks with water-side locations. Bruiser, my dog in the picture, fits into a small carry case with his head peeking out the top. The case handles attach to my bike handle bars with Bruiser intact. Anyway one of our favorite outings is touring around the many lakeside sidewalks in Dobson Ranch. And as much as the hunter dauchsund in him wants to chase every cat, bird, duck, and fish we see, he says patient and disciplined in his ride along bag. When on ground Bruiser appears fearless, willing to bolt after any game. The only Dobson Ranch game I will refrain from allowing Bruiser engagement are geese. If you have been around geese, it is likely you have witnessed their aggressive nature and sharp snap. And one rarely confronts a singular goose. To the points, they typically work in pairs or small groups, much like a bullies. One learns fast with geese. They are not toss out bread crumbs friendly. It's more like toss out the bread loaf and run. read more

I love these night strolls along our neighborhood lake! The amenities here are amazing! There are 4 community pools to choose from, various clubhouses, basketball courts, tennis courts, gazebos, and more!!! It's amazing how well they maintain this community here for such a low HOA fee compared to other communities! I have lived here for almost 15 years now and don't plan on leaving this neighborhood for a long time if ever! read more

Dobson Ranch Park is a great place to spend quality time with family and friends. It is free to enjoy and located right next to the public library and a gorgeous lake. This park has wonderful ammenaties like large pavilions with lots of seating, a well kept playground, public BBQ's, and a walking path that loops around the beautiful lake. This park is a nice place to visit if you want to shoot some hoops, play at the playground, fish in the lake, take an evening stroll, do some BBQing, or simply relax on the grass and watch the ducks swim around. read more

What an awesome park! So much fun for kiddos. Great play date meet up. Only thing missing is a splash pad or water area for kids to get a reprieve from the sun. Love that there are a few different play areas with various age appropriate activities. The swing/zip line is really fun! Also nice that it's adjacent to the library with lots of parking - although there should be an easier path for walking from the parking lot directly to the playground rather than having to push strollers and haul kiddos over the grassy hill. So they be building the park so that be not part of this, as they have a lot going on, you can fish, bring your pet for a walk have a day at the park, as they have a sitting and eating area, by close they even got a library right next door as the park is like the back yard of the library; for the park is so big it is sheared you places to live and a golf club and the library all in one area. Well, you can make a day of it, and then walk home of by living close this would be a great way to get out of the house and make it a spontaneous kinda of day, as you love right their it's only a few close to the park; plus you can spend some time with some animal friends, as they got so many different kind of birds their, what a nice place to be; for the path is part water The path they have is well it's the areas run off area to, so the path is kind of water covered with water and well being it have ducks their is pop of pop some places on the path so keep a stepping around it. So to see the time of the park being built would be a great plus to this very planned kind of family fun area and you really feel like you be so in nature and that's a great park forsure. read more

I love these night strolls along our neighborhood lake! This community has so many wonderful amenities and facilities for the family to enjoy. Swimming, basketball, tennis, squash, boating, running paths, walking paths, playgrounds, mix use parks and a wonderful neighborhood in general. The residents are social and neighborly and look out for each other. We use the numerous parks and pools a lot. Overall a great neighborhood conveniently located near the 60 and all the shopping needs a family could want within a mile. read more

Beautifully upgraded park. There's even shade!! My only dislike is that every early morning and every late night, there are quite a few homeless people sleeping all around the park. Also, people like to throw their trash in the lake or leave their trash all around the park. read more

This place has a cool play area and is great for any age! Good place to walk your dog, walk with your children, and picnic.

There is NOT a splash pad here. Google and yelp keep bringing this park up as having one. It is a nice park though.

Family oriented park, with very little cover provided by trees but plenty of shade. Kids are usually at this park.

My 2.5 year old loved this park! A great place to feed the ducks, but keep a watchful eye as there is no barrier between the water and ground so a toddler could easily fall in. The playground has lots to offer! Swings to zip line, to musical chimes. read more
