Visit not as I expected. I had a reservation for 4 on a Thursday at 6:45pm. We checked in at 6:40pm and were told it would be a 20-30 min wait so we just hung out outside the restaurant. Unfortunately, we didn't get seated until about 7:55pm. That was the first disappointment. The food was good, but there wasn't much of the meats going around, or at least our table got skipped a lot (even though our little circles were still flipped to the green side). Even when we asked our table host directly if we could get some certain cuts of meat, since it hadn't been coming to us, we still didn't get it. We sort of had to just munch on the things from the Market Table and called it a night since it was closing time soon. We all left hungry and pretty disappointed. First time at this location and whoa how grand is the super vaulted ceilings on one side w the huge dome above that beautiful bar. Word on the street said the design was leftover from a previous restaurant and I can see what it's a keeper. Although we had reservations, the wait was a tad long. We felt a bit looked over and forgotten so when checking in again the staff had to go ask another staff member then another then we got seated. W so much staff, it seems you can get lost in the shuffle. Once seated the magic of Fogo began. Our waitress Alexandria was just theee best as she congratulated a berfffday in the group, helped w drink order decisions and all around good vibes. The side dish bar had plentiful options and meats were juicy delish, it made us almost giddy to be out dining and enjoying good food together. Booked reservation online, got there, very crowded with little to no place to sit down. finally got seated. When making the reservation it said it was 49$ for limited time which is what made me book the reservation, come to find out it was 75$ for me and my partner which i paid anyways because we were already there. lemonade was good but was not able to try all the meats sadly, idk if there was a schedule or what but my thing was flipped green and there would be times no meat was around. This review is for to go. Whomever is packaging up orders for DoorDash needs to be trained. I've ordered two seperate times now and have had issues both times. The first time, I ordered the filet mignon plate and got my steak packaged (no foil) in a regular to go container with cold potatoe salad. Neeess to say it arrived cold. This time I got a similar steak plate and the Caesar salad side was packed with HOT mashed potatoes. I don't want butter on my salad... I'm sorry but for how much this place costs, I expect food to be properly packaged up to go. I'm so happy there's a closer Fogo de chao for those of us in the Salem area, but this location needs to up their game. When we went, the service was terrible. They seem to forget about the customers on the upper lever, or in the rooms. The food always tastes great, but we were sitting there too long waiting for the cut of meat we requested. Others have told me they had a similar service. As much as I'd hate to drive up to Portland for Fogo, it's almost worth it instead of going to the Tigard location. read more

We've been to the downtown location on several occasions and heard that there is a new location in Tigard. We decided to go on a lunch date for our 38th anniversary here and so happy that we did. The wait staff is so very attentive and friendly ,the food was absolutely wonderful . Just like the Portland location the meat swords kept coming and the salad bar is full of all kinds of fresh things. The ribeye melted in my mouth and so did the sirloin and pork belly , but the lamb chops were soooo delicious. We ended our meal with a house coffee which was smooth tasty and hit the spot with my cheesecake . Thanks Fogo for making our 38th anniversary lunch a very special one . We have been to various Fogo de chao in multiple cities, and ate at the Portland downtown location a few times a year over the past decade. This location at Bridgeport has an outstanding interior, just so pretty. With this second visit to the location, we find the salad bar/market table consistently good as the first time, with the meat being cooked and seasoned well. I want to give a shout out to Abiel, who provided great service, and is such a joy to be around. Reservation here is harder to get compare to the downtown location, but we agreed as a family that this is where we want to come back to for future visits. read more

Our first impression was disappointing. Despite having a reservation, the restaurant did not seem prepared for our arrival. While we waited near the host stand, three staff members were loudly discussing their shifts and eating in full view of waiting guests. We were eventually seated off to the side, and the way the interaction was handled felt dismissive and rude rather than welcoming. My friend and I also had different dining needs. He has a medically limited appetite, while I selected the Full Churrasco experience. I considered the more expensive option, but many of its additional offerings contained dairy, so it would not have provided much value for me. Several complimentary items were brought to the table, but they were not suitable for my dietary restrictions, and no alternative was offered or explained. One genuinely positive part of the experience was the accommodation made for my friend. He originally ordered the picanha option, but because he could eat only a small amount, the staff kindly allowed him to receive the full churrasco selection as a special accommodation. That flexibility was thoughtful and sincerely appreciated. The wine service was more complicated than it needed to be. I initially ordered a South American Malbec by the glass based on a staff recommendation, only to be told afterward that it was unavailable. They then recommended a South American red blend, but none of the red blends listed by the glass identified which grapes they contained. I had to ask for that information, and the staff eventually returned with the bottle so I could read it myself. It was La Piu Belle 2021 from Chile, a blend of Carménère, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. I appreciated that they eventually showed me the bottle, but the wine list should provide that basic information, and staff should confirm that a recommended wine is available before a guest orders it. The table service continued to feel inattentive. Whenever I needed a fresh plate, my friend had to retrieve one for me rather than a staff member noticing or offering one. During the meat service, one of the servers also spilled a considerable amount of sauce directly onto my phone while it was lying on the table. Accidents happen, but it was frustrating and created the possibility of damaging an expensive personal item. I later ordered another serving of filet mignon, but the piece I received had a distinctly unpleasant taste. I told our server that I was willing to try the filet again, but specifically did not want another serving from that same batch. He said he understood, yet the meat server returned with the exact same filet and appeared to have no knowledge of what I had reported. The concern had apparently not been communicated, which was especially troubling because it involved the quality and taste of the meat. There were also an excessive number of flies around the dining area. They were persistent enough around our table to become a distracting and uncomfortable part of the meal. Regardless of the cause, that is not something I would expect at a restaurant in this price range. Overall, the evening included one genuinely considerate accommodation, but it was overshadowed by a disorganized arrival, dismissive seating, unprofessional conduct near the host stand, limited attention to dietary restrictions, confusing wine service, inconsistent plate service, sauce spilled on my phone, a poorly handled concern about the filet mignon, and a persistent number of flies. For a restaurant at this price point, the experience did not feel nearly as organized, attentive, or polished as it should have. read more

Overall, the experience was mixed. Our server was very nice and took good care of us, but some of the other staff seemed unfriendly. For the first hour, we were offered mostly beef. Only after we asked for other options did they start bringing us a better variety of meats. We were also offered a pineapple drink that we really didn't enjoy, and later found out that such a small glass was quite expensive. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, but unfortunately, the experience didn't feel very special or celebratory. We expected a little more from a restaurant we chose for an important occasion. The ambiance was a nice 5-star with white table cloths, darker lighting and premium finishes. I liked that a lot. It was easy to talk with it not being crazy loud with others. The service was excellent. The meats had some temperature variation (which would be a challenge) where some are piping hot and others were not as hot as I would have liked. (But not bad). The meats I found to be a bit overly cooked and a tad on the dry side. It was still very good, but not 5-star good. My favorites were the cheesy bread served at the beginning to the table and the grilled cheese with honey. They were my unexpected surprises that were delicious. The salad bar had a 5-star presentation with amazing variety, but honestly, none of the items really hit with me. It was good but not great flavorful taste. It ain't cheap for sure. First time dining here... it was something special! I opted for the buffet dinner and was not disappointed. Fresh food, quality service and a barrage of meat. There must be 50 staff minimum working at any given time. Somehow, there is an organized march of delivering freshly sliced meat at consistently separate intervals. There was a nice variety of chicken, beef, pork, and other things like grilled pineapple and grilled cheese. I didn't try everything that was offered, but was satisfied with the things I did sample. The staff was very attentive. My water glass was frequently refilled and our server made great recommendation for drinks and dessert. The way that they coordinate the entire experience was really spectacular. This is not a dining room experience that I would undertake without being pretty hungry. It's a buffet! But more accurately, it's an upscale dining experience, and the meat quality was quite exceptional. To start, it's a beautiful location with moody/chic decor and the vibes are set as soon as you enter. I would say that this location is a lot more lively than downtown Portland, with upbeat music, friendly staff and a colorful salad bar. We deeply enjoyed the salad bar with options ranging from meats and cheeses, roasted veggies, breads and more. As we get into the experience itself, there were quite a few disappointments. I wouldn't say negative, the staff does a great job, but the food and service could use improvement in several areas: - We were the only couple seated on the bar side of the restaurant, so a majority of the meats coming to our table were far in-between, cold, and overcooked. -The salad bar could use direction, or some way to guide the flow of traffic. Folks were walking in between both aisles grabbing food and were moving slowly, making it at least 5 minutes before we could explore the section in its entirety. Servers were standing near the entrance to it drying dishes and standing, so it was very cramped. - Lobster Mac n Cheese was $18 and incredibly bland and I wouldn't recommend ordering it. We used a lot of salt and pepper to make it edible, but it arrived just above warm and had already thickened. - Bone marrow $9 add-on - needs an intense flame/grill to cook out the meat and oils from it, what arrived to our table was sickeningly oily and wet, with little char flavor whatsoever. Two small pieces of dried out bread did not help give it texture or flavor. - While we encourage liveliness and camaraderie between coworkers, I am in a customer service position myself and know sometimes conversations get out of hand, we were seated near a bartender that talked loudly our entire meal over the course of an hour and a half, and that person cussed constantly within ear shot of patrons. Other servers crowded around the bar as well, making us feel awkward being the only people on the side of the restaurant listening to their conversations. Overall, it was still a good experience, $190 got us more than enough food to last, with leftovers as well. The drinks were well made for $10 All Day Happy Hour, very citrusy cutting through the heaviness of the meats, but there's a lot of room for improvement to survive Bridgeport's competitive scene. Was excited to try this location, which is now the second Fogo in the Portland area. The restaurant is beautifully designed, modern, and upscale, and everything felt brand new and clean. The salad bar was fresh, side orders amazing, thoughtfully maintained, with a great variety. The variety of meats was cooked right and the creme brulee I ordered was yummy. Service was attentive and professional without feeling rushed. Bathrooms were also clean which is always appreciated. Overall a great addition to Tigard and definitely a spot I'll return to. Our family had the full Churassco experience for lunch and we had a reservations for 6 on a Thursday afternoon. We had to wait 5 minutes or so for our table. The design aesthetic is 10 out of 10 - beautiful wood finishes, luxe textiles, gorgeous lighting, a variety of seating (the banquette seating is stunning). So much interior seating and zones!! The wait staff are professional and they shared about the menu and market table as we were new to the restaurant. The market table showed magnificently - fresh fruits, greens and some really unique sides. I didn't try too much as I wanted the entrees to be the stars. I had a salad, fruit and hummus and grilled vegetables - all were tasty. We were seated in a back corner so I felt like the cadence of the servers offering the meat entrees was spotty, waiting 10 minutes or more for another sampling, in addition to the temperature of the entrees. Some were piping hot, others room temp, some medium and others well overcooked. Everyone at the table really enjoyed the bread and the grilled cheese with honey. We were stuffed the entire day so we definitely had our fill. My only other comment is that I saw on social media a $49 option but the Churassco experience at $52 was a way better choice for lunch. At that point, why offer the $49 when there are limitations - for $3 more you can have it all. read more

I even made a comment on the reservation booking that we were there for the promotion and made our waitress aware of it in the beginning after many attempts to upsell things on the menu. We were asked multiple times from the staff if we wanted any specific meat we asked for the filet and the ribeye and it never came. They even came into our little upstairs lair but never stopped by our table. $200 for two people to be ignored and not offered a single "premium" item. We politely asked for our appetizer and steak and were either ignored or forgotten about. I promise you $200 is not worth it, I don't think I'd even go back to the Portland one after this experience. My wife and I visited for afternoon lunch, and each had the $18 market table buffet. The restaurant was about a third full, yet we had to wait about seven minutes to be seated. Our table was wobbly, but the setting was beautiful, with white tablecloths, heavy silverware, and comfortable chairs. They immediately brought us four mini popovers as complementary appetizers. They explained that the market table works just like a standard buffet, where you walk up and grab a plate and fill it with whatever you want, and then they clear out plates as you finish them. Besides the large variety of food on the market table, they also offer mashed potatoes polenta fries, and fried bananas upon request. I tried a little bit of virtually everything on offer, and it was very well prepared and mostly flavorful. I couldn't get into the eggplant or marinated vegetables, but everything else was scrumptious. The tomato mozzarella soup was by far my favorite. The maple smoked bacon was incredibly good. I also enjoyed trying a couple of the exotic fruits that I rarely get to eat, like dragon fruit and papaya. For the most part, the wait staff were efficient and friendly, but at one point my water glass sat empty for 5 minutes. Despite eating way too much, I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch, and I'm looking forward to returning. We enjoyed the full churrasco dinner at $79. It included the salad bar and a delicious variety of meats. The new location at the old McCormick n Schmidt's restaurant in Bridgeport mall. There is a shared parking lot with plenty of parking. The servers come around and bring large meat on skewers and slice it at your table in which you grab with your pinchers. The Brazilian cheesy bread popovers are the best. This is definitely a great location instead of driving into Portland for us. read more

Before they opened we made a plan to try this location because our friends have birthdays 2 days apart and they've never had Fogo before. We went in the day between with a reservation. I would suggest getting reservations a week in advance because even with several days and it being a weekday we couldn't get in until later. The parking around here is a pain so you'll need to drive around a bit usually to find one. Even on a reservation we waited 15-20 minutes past the time to be seated at the front table behind the entrance that was empty the entire time we waited. Not a great start but our server was really nice. I was impressed with the market table because there were a lot of options. Kind of a good thing because they didn't really come around as often as I'm used to with the meats. They didn't have the full variety and we never saw things like chicken etc. It could be hard to understand what they even had because they don't really speak up so you just kind of say yes to everything really. The food was tasty and we were definitely full. Our server informed our friends they each got a birthday dessert so it was fun watching them try to eat a delicious dessert when they were full. The desserts were nice though and they managed just fine. Doesn't really have the right vibe when more people than not are just ordering off the regular menu. Felt like if they just kept it to Brazil grill style rather than combining it with a regular restaurant it would have been better food and service. Felt kind of pricey overall. This is definitely a better overall experience than the one downtown. Not that the food or service is particularly different, but there are a couple things that do stand out. Firstly the layout is better, it feels less crowded than the downtown location. Also because of the circular layout, it feels more intimate even though there are still a decent number of tables. Parking is also much easier here than downtown, and there is valet parking if that is of interest to you. It is super popular right now since it just opened, so i highly recommend getting reservations. The food is pretty similar if you've been to any other fogo de chao location. If you're eating here you're probably getting the Churrasco experience, which is what I'd recommend. They have a large selection of meat, primarily beef, but there are pork and chicken options too. I think the best cut is their house special picanha, although they had a lamb picanha too which I think is new? Don't forget about the salad bar! You can pretty easily get overwhelmed with how much meat there is so the salad bar offers some reprieve if you ever need it! read more

It's nice that they just opened another location in Bridgeport Mall. I feel like this location is slightly smaller than the one downtown, but has a nice layout to it. The salad bar also seems a little smaller, but maybe it's just me. I did notice that they had a couple of different things than the downtown location. They did offer a lamb picahana and a bsr cart person making caprihanas tableside if you wanted a drink. The food is consistent with the other location. Went to check out this new spot and boy it didn't not disappoint. I suggest making reservations because its a long wait. If you're new to Fogo don't feel embarrassed saying you never been because you need to now how it works lol. The meats were delicious, the trick is for you not to get full of the sides or else you will get full very fast, my husband and I got full real fast. Imagine you waited an hour just to get full in less than that. The atmosphere is pretty cool, loved it. Our waiter was real nice and explained everything and was making sure we were getting all the meats. Price is $69/person for the fogo experience and drinks aren't included. I am soooo excited for a Fogo de Chao in Tigard! We went for a late lunch today which served as our all day single meal (as well it should) and it did not disappoint. I haven't been to one in about 10 years, and what I so enjoy is the quality of the food, the fact that it's one of the very few places that has a salad bar (and an epic one no less), and you truly feel like you've gotten your moneys worth out of the meal when you're done. At about 50 bucks a person you get a glorious salad bar and unlimited delicious churrasco meats and sides. The filet mignon and picanha were the big winners for me, as well as the bacon wrapped chicken. At other locations, the Lombo was my big favorite but it was very different here and I didn't love it. They have a basil salad dressing that is like liquid gold - on the hunt for a dupe recipe presently. Service was impeccable - a few bugs to work out with reservations, but at only two weeks into operations it's to be expected. 10/10; 5/5 - please go for all your celebrations and keep this spot hot in Tigard!! Nowadays a mediocre steak or chicken dish will set you back $30-50 at a mid-range restaurant. I have frequented this restaurant in Portland and a new location was opened in Tigard. The Portland restaurant is outstanding. I went to this new location in Tigard and it was terrible. The food was good when you got it however the service was atrocious. They had waiters/waitresses versus the servers (those that bring the food on the skewers) on a 10 to one basis. We had to ask 4 times to please send the servers over and 3 times they never showed. We asked for coffee, never showed! We were at the establishment for more than an hour and only twice did we get served any steaks, ONE HOUR! We never got to sample several cuts because we were tired of waiting, Contrast this to the Portland location where the servers are at your table as soon as your steak is consumed and you walk away with the "wow" factor vs why did we just spend over 250,00 to beg for service. We never had to "turn our card over to red" to signal them to stop coming. Disappointed. Not worth $50 at lunch at noon. If you want a good experience go to the downtown one. read more

My husband and I came for a date night and to get the taste of Brazil. The food was so good that I forgot to snap photos . I forget that you get sides with your dinner so we had a ton of food the entire time we were there. The service was wonderful, we asked Alonso for sausage and he said he'd request that for us. It has been almost 2 weeks and I have yet to get a response back from management after being told by a manger that we would get a call back. We called a few days later and was told that we can't get you to a manager due to them being in a meeting but they would respond if we emailed them, which we did. We celebrated our wedding anniversary with high hopes that our experience would be great seeing as the Portland location is always on top of things. We were so excited since we now have a Fogo a lot closer to us. We were very disappointed. We waiting over 20 mins for a single piece of meat. We kept asking the waiter and she just keep saying I'll send some one your way. I know this for a fact because we timed it. We started noticing that the tables around us were also getting furious as well. And to add to it, we always had to flag someone down to take our plates. It was not the way I wanted to spend our anniversary. When we would go to the salad bar, it was so disappointing to see all the tables in the front with plates full with meat, while we were in the back getting no meat and getting full off the salad bar. Lastly, when we finally got meat, the selection was soo minimal. read more
