Whole branzino
Christy S.

We were so excited to see a Fogo de Chao coming to OKC. We have visited several other locations through the years. We had a group of 14 go on a Sunday night to celebrate a couple of birthdays. I was immediately struck by the elegant ambiance, which I found to be perfectly fitting for a fine dining establishment. Our table was ready when we arrived for our reservation. The service was very attentive for most of our meal. As time went along, we continued to see our waitress, but not as many of the gauchos serving the meat. The servers were very good at refilling tea and sodas, but our water glasses remained empty for most of the night. Because we were celebrating birthdays, we were gifted a whole branzino, carved table side, which was a nice gesture. The market table seemed a little smaller than other locations, but it seemed to have all the traditional salad and appetizer options. I enjoyed all the meats that I tried, with my favorites being the parmesan pork, bacon wrapped chicken, sausage, and filet. The birthday guests were treated to a complimentary dessert, and they both chose the lava cake. It's always a fun experience to go to a Brazilian steakhouse, and this was no exception. I'm sure we will return at some point in the future, and hopefully some of the service kinks will be worked out, and it can earn a 5 star review.

We went to Fogo De Chao for drinks and appetizers and left the restaurant happy campers. For drinks we started with a Cucumber Mint Smash, that I rreally liked, and a Samba Squeze Martini, which was to fruity for my tastes; Jan loved it. It's made with with Grey Goose Le Citron vodka, St. Germain, blood orange, and guava. Our first appetizers was Queijo Assado, fire roasted Brazilian Cheese with Malagueta honey. We loved it. With our first appetizer, Pao de Queijo was served. I thought it was fry bread, but they are Brazilian fried cheese ball. They were pure magic. Our second appetizer was Gordeiro Churrasco board lamb chops. The chops were delectable. Then the server brought more PaPao de Queijo and shortly thereafter, he brought our third appetizer, Brazilian Empanadas. By that time I was not hungry and regretted ordering them. I did take a a bite of one and it was good. It was a lovely evening, the service was good. The decor is modern and the environment lively.

The salad bar was absolutely amazing. The bartender whipped up a fantastic coconut martini. The service was exceptional. Everyone was so happy to help. We will definitely be back.

Alex on the Grilllll!!! This guy is the truth!!! Meat cooked to perfection. Too juicy!! This is the definition of premium.

Jalisca & Audrey (along with every other server/employee we encountered) were top in every regard. The Market/Salad/Brunch bar was fantastic. We've been to all the Brazilian restaurants in OKC, and Fogo was our favorite. Very posh bar and high end vibes all around.

I recently attended a couple of events at the new Fogo de Chao in OKC. The first was a chamber event in their private banquet room, which had a very nice setup with shareable plates and a cash bar. I can see future business meetings or community events being held there. The second event was a Wine & Wagu gathering held at their bar area. The staff was attentive, almost too much so, as they aimed to move the food and wine along while providing good service. However, it felt like the focus was more on promoting their Trilogy wine box, which was a bit disappointing. The food was nonstop, and I ended up feeling overwhelmed by the amount we were served in such a short period of time. We tried to pace ourselves, but the staff continued to push things along. Unfortunately, where we sat at the bar, there was a sour odor that dampened our enjoyment. We informed the manager before leaving. Overall, I'm not sure if we'd attend that specific event again, but we may return to sit at the bar and enjoy a cocktail, just at a different seat. Nice restaurant and friendly staff! So, I'm giving it 3 stars. The smell and rush feeling of the event would give this review 2 stars, especially for paying $49/pp.

Visited fogo today for a New Year's Day lunch. The kinks are definitely not being worked out at this restaurant. They seem to struggle with being able to keep up with the demands of the patrons. The salad bar never stays stocked, I had to request a bowl and spoon multiple times for the soup on the bar. The servers are kind but they don't seem trained on the menu and if you want a meat cooked anything outside of medium rare they can't seem to deliver. I asked for my picahna to be cooked medium or medium well and they brought me medium rare meat out both times. I was really hoping they would iron out the kinks after being opened several months but after three visits I can confirm that the experience is not worth the price.

I have never had such an awful experience at a restaurant of this caliber before. Even after talking with management about what was going on, even after emailing the company about the experience, nothing got resolved or even handled like they cared about the level of service our party had to deal with! Beware of the being a patron of this business.

Had such a great time at Fogo de Chão! The food was incredible (as always), but what really made the night was our server, Sienna. She was so friendly, super attentive, and just all-around amazing. She made sure we had everything we needed and gave us some great suggestions too. Honestly, she made the whole experience even better. We'll definitely be back--and we're totally asking for Sienna again!

Well, we had high hopes for this place, but they either had a bad day yesterday, as compared with our first time there a few months ago, or they just don't have the Addison magic... To speak to positives: David, one of the managers, is a great guy, and he was one of the highlights of the evening. Asia, our young server, struggled with opening a wine bottle and seemed to be overwhelmed with other tables, leaving us to drift quite a bit, but she's a bright spirit and seems to have a sweet heart. Their wine menu shows a half-discount on South American wines -- a tactic that somewhat is effective, but, having worked in the wine service world for a number of years in Texas, I know that those wines are *much* more affordable (cheaper) than others, so their $128 Argentinian Malbec that's now in service for $64 likely only cost them $25 or less wholesale, so the use of a "reduced" feature on pricing of them is crafty, though a bit disingenuous from an industry standpoint. However, food is why we were there, and this is where it fell apart with our second visit. The first visit in 2024 we did was pretty spot-on, though we notice the salad/non-meats part of the meal is VERY reduced compared with our first visit to FdC in 1998 in Addison, TX, on Beltline. Maybe this is a pattern overall in churrascarias, and it's disappointing, but it's not a game changer since the place is noted for meats. Last night was full of being ignored (save for David and one gauchita that was regularly at our table when she had meats,) overcooked and burned meats, hardly ever getting the yucca/potatoes/bananas/biscuits sides, and empty beverage glasses. Not only that, but the ice cream with the chocolate molten cake my daughter and wife were to share for dessert was significantly melted because it sat for too long before it was taken to our table (even beyond what one would expect being next to a newly prepared cake). I don't think we are returning. I hope things turn around for them. We have so many good memories of churrascarias in Texas (Boi na Braza, Chama Gaucha, Texas de Brazil in Ft. Worth -- NOT OKC's!), and we were excited to see one in OKC. In this instance, things are definitely better in Texas.

We started with the shrimp cocktail and it was a good size with very large shrimp. The horseradish was strong! One of my party took a big old scoop the first time, and it was quite entertaining. We all had the filet and it was one of the best filets I've had. Probably in my top 5, maybe even top 3. It was very tender and seasoned well. They put so much butter on it that your plate has a layer-I wishes that wasn't so much. For sides we had mushrooms, Brussels and a gratin potatoes. The mushrooms were really good. The Brussels were fried and just too greasy for me. Though the sauce on them appeared to be tasty. I didn't try the potatoes but I was told they were really good. For dessert we had the Mahogany cheesecake. This was pretty amazing! It's essentially their cheesecake with a crust (think creme brûlée top) around the whole thing. With some whip cream, chocolate sauce and some boozy berries. Pretty. Damn. Good. If I lived local, this would be my go to for a steak. If you're in town or local, go get some. The fish had crispy skin and was moist, flaky, and well seasoned. The broad bean mixture served with it was equally delicious. This was a nice touch, but the restaurant was nearly empty and they still sat us so we were like 3 feet behind one of two other tables. Since we were both on the same side of the booth, we were both staring directly at the back of some lady's head, which I'm sure made both tables uncomfortable. Overall a nice gesture though. The appetizers were kinda whack. French Onion Soup - Exactly what you would expect (in a good way). Burrata Caprese - Very uninspired. Big chunks of blandness. I usually get blown away by Burrata dishes. The Hamilton has one that tastes like crack. Symmetry's Burrata tastes and feels like something I made trying to use stuff in the fridge. Nothing wrong with it, just totally boring. $49 Steak Tartare - Because I am a moron I was intrigued by this absurdly expensive appetizer. When I playfully inquired about the price, the server acted like my question was preposterous because it's locally sourced filet or something blah blah, like I was supposed to know that (she was overall pleasant though). The "table service" is just a guy cracking an egg on it and mixing it together for 10 seconds (he was pleasant too). It also gave us both serious indigestion (avoiding TMI), which is rare for me because I have an iron gut. Maybe it wasn't the tartare, but if it was some other item, that's even more sus. I ordered the pork chop and my gf ordered the sea bass. Both were pretty good and impressive both compositionally and flavor-wise. I especially liked the red & green chimichurri; it kept things interesting throughout the meal. We ordered a variety of sides which were all decent. For dessert we got a cheesecake, which was yummy and it also had "Happy Anniversary" on it, which was sweet. I actually proposed at this restaurant so I will remember it forever, the good and the bad. The ambiance and vibe are great, but some things need some tuning. I don't feel like it quite delivers at this price point, but it's close. I get that sourcing is important blah blah, but that's background noise if the fundamentals are off. I would suggest scrapping the $49 Steak Tartare entirely as it is a lie, and potentially a biohazard, in favor of a normal Steak Tartare. The Burrata also needs to wow or at least be above average. Appetizers calibrate expectations and ultimately skew the rest of the meal, both positively or negatively. I like what they're attempting to do but it's not quite there in a city with so many good options at that price point.

The Chicken Pepperjack Strudel, a signature dish, was really really good. Just wish it was warmer in the center but yea definitely order this. Juan's queso is not a typical queso dish. First, it's real cheese and it comes with a black bean puree, salsa verde, and avocado thinly sliced on top. We loved it, especially my wife. If you're in search of a higher end dining experience in OKC, Cheever's is a must.

Since everyone has commented on Cheevers brunch (which I have yet to enjoy), I wanted to share our…read moregreat dinner experience! I came here with a large group of about 8 of us with a reservation made early on. We were seated in a nice, private room and had an overall very lovely experience! First of all, our server Trey was just spot on with all of his recommendations. He recommended the crab cakes, the halibut, and anything that came with the spicy shrimp risotto. Our table got crab cakes to start, and this was probably my favorite dish of the evening! The crab cake was large, fluffy, and full of lump crab topped with a spicy and delicious salsa verde and pico. For the entree I ordered the halibut which was cooked well, but the side of spicy shrimp risotto definitely stole the show (as Trey accurately predicted). Most of our party ordered this and everyone was pretty happy with it! For dessert, our table shared chocolate cake and the coconut creme pie. The chocolate cake was very rich and was probably one of the best chocolate cakes I've had, and I'm not a big chocolate cake person. I still definitely preferred the coconut creme pie, which I would order again next time! Our service was fantastic for the evening, and when Trey tells you to order something, trust him and do it!

We celebrated our anniversary and the service did not disappoint!…read more Reservations at 4:00, we were seated in a nice 2-top and wished happy anniversary by the staff. We tried their version of a salmon sushi roll, it wasn't bad. Rice was fried. Our steaks were so flavorful and tender! We decided to try the onion rings and green chili cream corn as our sides. I wished the corn was a little sweet. Onion rings were good but not the best I've had. Old fashioned cocktail was on point though! They delivered an anniversary multi-layered red velvet cake. Pretty tasty. I would definitely return and order the same steaks just with different sides.
