WOW WOW WOW WOW. We sat on the bar and we were greeted by a bartender that went above and beyond. Her name is Sheila, I had to get her name because I was so pleased my the service. She was so busy behind the bar, doing table drinks, plus attending to everyone sitting at the bar and she did it with a smile on her face. It's so hard to find good quality customer service nowadays and she deserves a RAISE. There were some customers that were giving her a difficult time and she handled it so professionally. Thank you for great service. I will be back a million times over due to this experience. The food is absolutely good! Unfortunately my burger was a bit cold ( the bun ) but other than that my favorite thing had to be the lamp chops. They were so perfectly cooked and amazing for the price. The food is just totally worth the price The vibe was amazing! But the people sitting next to us were arguing so it was sortve unpleasant but that is not the restaurant's fault. Absolutely unbelievable experience. We made a reservation online specifically for an outdoor table because we were bringing our dog. The restaurant accepted the reservation, so naturally we assumed the outdoor seating was actually available and that someone would be able to serve us. Apparently, not quite. When we arrived, we were told that there were no servers available to serve the outdoor area. We were then told that if we wanted to eat inside, our dog would have to be a service dog. So here is what I don't understand: Why allow customers to make reservations for outdoor seating if you have no intention--or ability--to provide service there? Why not simply mark the outdoor seating as unavailable? Even more disappointing was the attitude of the staff. There was no apology, no attempt to find a solution, and not even the basic courtesy of acknowledging that the situation was frustrating for us. Instead, we were essentially left standing there while the staff watched us, as if we were the problem for showing up for the reservation the restaurant itself had accepted. We completely understand the rules regarding dogs inside restaurants. That was never the issue. The issue was the restaurant accepting an outdoor reservation and then telling us, after we arrived, that they couldn't serve us outside. If the outdoor seating isn't being served, don't take reservations for it. It's really that simple. We drove there, made a reservation in advance, brought our dog as planned, and were turned away with absolutely no apology or sense of responsibility. What should have been a simple meal turned into a very frustrating and unnecessarily awkward experience. Great way to treat customers who actually made a reservation. We did the Churrasco special which was roughly $74/pp. The meat cuts were solid, with most being closer to well done than medium - while the staff was helpful in requesting specific cuts we desired, the cook on the meat wasn't always consistent - I'd say everything just seemed "standard" with few standouts. We visited on a Saturday around 6pm and parking structure closest was pretty packed we had to circle around a handful of times before finding a spot that someone was leaving from. There is valet available. Picanha (top sirloin)- My all time favorite cut. The fat cap had the perfect crisp char. Tender and juicy every time. Spicy Tri Tip - surprisingly had a slight kick to it. Added some dimension to all the meats we were eating. Bone In Ribeye -really marbled but on the fatter side. Filet Mignon -only came by 1 time the entire time we dinned there. My piece was medium but it was quite chewy. I know you can ask your server for specific cuts but we opted to see what would come by. This is the 3rd fogo location I have visited, and they always deliver on quality, service, and overall experience. The full churrasco experience is definitely the way to go. Make sure to come hungry, and pace yourself so that you can try all of the incredible meats they have to offer. Every time a Gaucho came to the table, the meat they brought was cooked perfectly and so delicious. Our server was also exceptional, constantly checking up on us and brining anything we needed. When we first got here for lunch, the service was extremely slow. I asked for yuca fries and did not receive them until I asked 3 workers and an hour later. I was really excited to dine here but only had the staff come by 3 times to offer beef in the first 40 min. We ended up asking a worker if we can get more beef and get the yuca fries as it had been so long already, and only then the staff became more attentive, and came by the table to offer meats more frequently. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice. I did get a plate from the self serve bar that was not very clean; not a big deal as it could happen at a buffet. I appreciate the staff who became more attentive after I raised the concern but I expected this attentiveness when I entered. read more

The prime top sirloin and button sirloin we tried was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The Market Table had plenty of fresh salads, Brazilian sides, breads, and seasonal soups making it easy to balance out all the delicious meat. The only downside was the service. Our waitress wasn't very attentive. Our used plates piled up on the table for quite a while, and our water glasses stayed empty after we finished them. We had a hard time finding her just to get a refill, which was a bit disappointing. We went to Fogo for the second time in two weeks. The first time we were blown away by the food, so much so that we had to go back. Last night, we were blown away by the amazing service. Our server, Austen, was incredible! He really made our dinner at Fogo feel extra special. He was so friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we were enjoying everything. The food was as incredible as the first time, fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. It's rare to have great food and service that feels this personal. We left really happy, and Austen was a big part of that. Another WOW was the meat cutter Alexis who came to our table with the biggest smile and checked on us regularly to be sure we had everything we needed. He had a great sense of humor and was knowledgeable in his craft. This team of Austen and Alexis make Fogo a place for us. I searched to make eye contact with ANYONE for help. 10min later there was two young men that walked in and employees ran in to personally say to hi to them. A guy on his computer, that was sitting a few seats away from me got up, put his computer away, and served them. They sat in the seats next to me and received full service as I tried getting his attention for help on water/a to-go box and my check. I eventually had to ask another server who brought food to the guys next to me, for help. My husband ordered the burger, and one of our friends got the strip steak. Now, let's talk about the service. The bartender was great and very friendly, but the timing of the food coming out was disappointing. We all placed our orders at the same time, yet my husband's burger took forever to arrive. Everyone else at the table received their food, finished eating, and was practically done with their meals before his burger finally came out. I was honestly confused how a steak dish made it to the table before a burger, especially when the restaurant wasn't busy on a Saturday. That part of the experience definitely put a damper on our visit. I understand delays happen, but when the restaurant isn't packed, it's frustrating to have one person's meal come out so much later than everyone else's. Perfect for celebrations and this is my first time trying their brunch, the whole concept was really great and their cocktails happy hour also is a plus, they have the full bar and churrasco experience that is always the main attraction, the staff who serves the food was really on top but actually the servers were a little bit behind and off for like an hour and the place was nothing busy by 2 pm. Fogo de Chão is a Brazilian steakhouse (churrascaria) chain with locations across the country. It's an all-you-can-eat (AYCE) restaurant that specializes in fire-roasted meats served table side. This location is at the Irvine Spectrum; when you first walk in it looks deceptively small but there's a much bigger space when you turn the corner. For the churrasco experience, they have a system where you flip your card green if you want more meat and red if you want to pause. There's also a salad bar with salads, cheese, veggies, and other cold foods. They also have all day happy hour which is what we came for. The lobster & shrimp tacos ($13.50) were on a Napa cabbage and not a flour/corn tortilla so beware of that; the tacos were big but there wasn't much lobster. The picanha burger ($10) was juicy and I liked the dipping sauce on it as well. The filet mignon board ($17.50) was tender and I liked the chimichurri. For drinks the passionate caipirinha ($10) and strawberry hibiscus caipirinha ($10) were refreshing and easy to drink. They also have complimentary pão de queijo (cheese bread) that was fluffy on the outside and cheesy and chewy on the inside. We loved this and we kept asking for more. The big issue was that the service was pretty lacking. It took a long time to get our food and drinks, about 40 minutes for our tacos and 60 minutes for our burger. When we did get our burger our server said that we would get the polenta fries separately because it was taking too long and then they eventually forgot until we asked for it. Even then, they only gave us a few pieces. I've been to other locations which were better than what I had here. It took 40 minutes for the sliders to come out and another 20 minutes for the burgers to be delivered. Makes me wonder if they even started our order at the time we placed them. After 1 hour of waiting for the burgers, I was excited to eat but was frustrated to find that the burger was cooked well done instead of medium rare like I'd asked for. I didn't end up finishing it or requesting a new one because I thought it'd take another hour. AND the burger was lukewarm instead of hot. Seems to me that they first made the burgers & ran out of polenta so we had to wait for 1 hour. For this being an upscale dining restaurant, I was really disappointed with the food & service as the whole staff seemed absent minded. We requested refills on the cheeseballs & it never came out. We sat at the bar area so we were almost always next to a server but he seemed to be inattentive & withdrawn from us. It seemed like the workers didn't want to be at work. I get that servers have those days but it was no excuse to forget our requests & even refill water. (We had to ask for water refills too). No one checked in on us & we felt we were an annoyance to the staff. The restaurant wasn't busy at all as we were 2 of 4 people at the bar. Overall, it was a horrible dining experience where we were late to other plans because the food took 1 hour to arrive. I always order their crabcakes at the bar. They are the best! No filler, just delicious, real crab meat. This dish took took 20 mins to come out, but the bartender was quick and got us some pao de queijo and wine. I think her name was Sheila and she was busy carrying crates of glasses, serving and pouring drinks. She handled the bar well solo! The white wine from Chile was okay. The Market Table was well stocked, even with the large crowd it was fresh & full. From the entree menu I chose the Chilean Sea Bass. It was delicious, moist and flaky. The Mrs had the Pan Seared Salmon, edges dry - to be expected. However the interior was nice and moist. The chimichurri sauce added great flavor. We were happy with our meal and it was just enough. However, if you are dining with a group of more than two and anyone chooses to order from the regular menu instead, be prepared for a significant wait. In our experience, that meal did not arrive until approximately 45 minutes after everyone else had already been served multiple rounds of meat and was getting full. The same issue occurred during brunch. A member of our party ordered an omelet from the omelet station and waited more than an hour to receive it. By that point, everyone else had nearly finished their meal. These delays created a very awkward dining experience, with some guests eating while others sat waiting for their food. Given the high price of the meal, I expected much better coordination and service. It was fun having them come around and slice different meats at the table however some of the meat was a little dry and chewy so some meats were better than others. What saved it for me was the market table salad bar. Everything there was fresh and delicious. They have various fruits, salads, meats and cheeses and other items. Service in the beginning wasn't the best as we didn't get an actual server until the end of our dining experience but they definitely tried to make up for it and were very attentive towards the end. My anniversary dinner started off on the wrong foot and unfortunately never really recovered. When we arrived, we were seated right at the front entrance, which honestly should not be used as a dining table. It was awkward, with people waiting for tables standing nearby the entire time. We requested a different table and waited for a better seat, which thankfully improved the situation a bit. The service, however, was extremely slow. After being seated, we waited about 15 minutes before anyone came to our table. We were actually close to leaving because the service was so delayed. For an anniversary dinner, it was definitely not the experience I was hoping for. The restaurant is also quite expensive for the level of service and food quality provided. Our bill was around $200, although we used Costco gift cards, which helped reduce the cost. If you're planning to visit, definitely buy the Costco gift cards first--you can save roughly 20%. Also, bring some extra cash or another form of payment because the gift cards may not fully cover the meal and tip. The salad bar was just okay. The selection felt limited and wasn't particularly impressive. As for the meat service, everything came out very slowly. The menu advertises a wide variety of options, but because the meats arrive at such a slow pace, we were already getting full by the time many of the selections reached our table. By the third round of meat, we were already full and never got the opportunity to try everything that was advertised. Overall, the experience felt overpriced and underwhelming. We had a good holiday party at Fogo De Chao. We were outside on the patio with a table for about 20. The heaters were going so it wasn't too cold but you still needed a jacket. At first it took a while for the meat servers to come out to us regularly but after about 15-25 mins we had a regular flow of meats coming our way. The salad bar was great, lots of great options and the warm plates they give you were yummy too with the potatoes, plantains, and fried masa. The red meats and anything bacon wrapped was delicious, seriously so tender, juicy, and flavorful. It was hard to get drinks, we ordered our drinks about 20-30 mins after sitting down and it took about 20-30 mins to get them. We ordered 2 at a time because it took so long. We personally weren't paying, it was a company Christmas party so we were happy to sit back and have a super long leisurely time. However if I was personally paying and on a date or something the amount of time it took to get meats and drinks was rough. We are big fans of Fogo, but especially this location! I knew about Fogo before, but had never gone. I was sort of confused about its concept of the churrasco and how it worked as well as the pricing, so I hadn't made it by to try it. Over a year ago a few coworkers of mine asked me to meet up with them during Fogo's all day happy hour. I was quite shocked at the prices of the happy hour offerings, fifteen dollar lamb chops??? All day happy hour? But take note that the happy hour is only at the bar which consists of 10-12 seats. Then it got better. My coworkers informed me of the pretty much monthly Fogo events that they host. Some events consist of glasses/tastings of wine with bar bites and pieces of meats such as ribeye or wagyu for $49. They come by quite frequently with the bar bites too. You'd think you will leave hungry but we leave stuffed. They also sometimes have caipirinha events where you get the same foods and two caipirinhas for $29! The staff here is amazing, especially once you get to know them. My coworkers seem to know 90% of the employees! The service here is what kept them coming as very regular customers. Mario is the best manager who always comes by to say hi to everyone. The staff is really good about taking care of their customers. While there are multiple closer locations to me, we drive down here instead whether it is for an event or for happy hour, because the service alone stood out from experiences at other locations. read more

First time at the spectrum location, walked in for their amazing all-day happy hour, and there was no availability at the bar :( which is where the deal applies, but the employee at the front went above and beyond and got us a table to sit at w/the same happy hour menu. instantly seated and frequent check ins with refills, letting us know when to expect our food etc. Given how busy they were I didn't expect such amazing service, but they proved me wrong for sure. Chao rolls 5/5: so fluffy and fresh, solid amount of cheese. delicious! Hibiscus Cocktail 5/5: surprisingly strong but has a great taste for a cocktail. cannot taste the alcohol too much (which is a good thing) Brazilian Lemonade 4/5: great non-alch verision. very fresh and yummy! could've leaned a bit more into the sweeter side Empanadas 4/5: good meat filling. very crispy! Very good flavor for most of meats, with Picanha leading the way, followed by the Filet, then the lamb chops and lamb steak. Too bad no Ribeye. Salad bar isn't as good as their competitor. Service was abysmal. We literally had about 23 minutes without any meat coming by. Going there on Mother's Day wasn't a good idea, especially when you land smack between shifts. This is not the first time we've dined here and frankly may be our last. They really need to step up. Hope they pull it off. read more

Our family of 4+ my father-in-law visited Fogo de Chão November 17, 2025. If you are familiar with this restaurant, there are several variations of meats that are being spit roasted and are sliced table side. There is also the market table which has sides such as Caprese salad, beet salad, corn, salad, smoked salmon, etc. There is an additional bar and with beans and rice and bread, which my kids liked. We ordered two full Churascos, and 2 Indulgent Churascos, so about my wife and kids could try the lobster. My wife had a dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives, which was really good. However, the second one had an odd flavor and we sent it back. I had a standard captain and Coke. It was not very strong. The various meats started to come to the table. I thought that the bacon steak was excellent, although my wife wasn't a fan. The bottom loin was the favorite of the table, followed by the top sirloin. The garlic steak was also good. The New York strip had a lot of good flavor, but it was over cooked both times it was brought to the table. The fillet was also good, but the skewer only came by our table one time during the entire meal. Unfortunate. The chicken was good, the sausage was also good. It's a Portuguese sausage that reminded me a lot of something you would find in Hawaii. The Market table was ok - I thought it would be a bit more fancy for the price. The Corn Salad was great. So were the couscous and the beet salad. The full Churasco is half-price for the kids, which was a nice surprise that we weren't expecting. The Lobster took a long time to come out and we had to ask for it several times Desserts took a long time as well. The kids favorite desserts were the Lava Cake. My favorite dessert was the vanilla ice cream with caramel. The Chocolate Brigadeiro was really good and super chocolatey, it was my wife's favorite. I stopped by here with a friend for lunch. They offered a salad-bar-only option for just $18, which is an amazing deal, so we went in looking for a simple, budget-friendly, and delicious meal. After telling the staff we would only be using the salad bar, we were seated and ordered our drinks. When I went to get the food, I was pleased with the variety, and the presentation looked wonderful. I filled my plate with various salads, smoked salmon, egg salad and chicken salad for protein, and fresh fruits before heading back to my seat.We sat by the window overlooking the patio, and this is where I have to explain why I can only give this place 3 stars.First, as you can see in the photo, the patio chairs were stacked on top of the tables. Even if I overlook that since it wasn't the rush hour yet, there were boxes piled on top of those stacked chairs. Isn't Fogo de Chão supposed to be an upscale Brazilian steakhouse? It was a head-scratching sight. Even if they wanted to save themselves the trouble of moving the chairs, they shouldn't just pile boxes up like that.Second, even though we visited shortly after they opened for lunch, the floor was incredibly dirty. It looked like they hadn't swept since the night before--or even longer--with all kinds of crumbs scattered around. They were under our table and under the neighboring tables too. Whether it is a fine dining restaurant or not, floor cleanliness is the absolute basics of hygiene.Third, the bread. While the salad bar has plenty of options, some foods just taste better when paired with bread. When we went up, there wasn't even a tray out for the bread. We waited, but it was finally served a whole hour later, just as we were finishing our meal. On top of that, it was disappointing that empty food trays were not refilled quickly.Aside from these three issues, the food was fresh and delicious, and the quality of the fruit was excellent. Above all, getting access to that entire salad bar for just $18 at lunch is the biggest selling point. If you ask me whether I would visit again, my answer is yes. read more
