Bondi's Eora soul has been loving and nurturing the dreams of everyone with a dream and a smile.... until vapid mon ey driven bricks in the soulless modern "slavery-by-indebtedness to forge conformity with the illusion of free thought&choice" world that has swallowed up Bondi Beach and spat out it's magical artists & creatives in a westerly direction (models/actors landing in Surry Hills, musicians and artists scattered by the prevailing sea-breeze to between Marrickville and Glebe, the managers and agents who employ them for "great exposure" at the expense of the piles of money required to survive in their own city of Sydney - between the terraces of Lewisham out to the McHills district beyond the faux cool of modern world Sydney itself, and finally the contaminated classiness of the young European & pasty skinned entitlement & permanent residency seeking Brits or the hordes flying due north to the Byron Shire aka the Nu-North Bondi... modern day Straya's cultural epicenter.... sadly where the cost of surviving is almost as much as the cost of now vapid Bondi.

After asking twice about where it was my partner got his burrito but we never got my food or our starter. We then asked for our food to go as we were running very late at this point, and then 15 minutes later asked where the food to go was and was told they thought we wanted to cancel it. We were then told there was no manager on duty and that a new app was to blame. I understand places get busy but we were never offered anything complimentary- whether it be money off the bill or chips and salsa or anything. Lovely place and always great music and food, but really really let down by the service tonight. Our waitress Gabriella was very poor and didn't even seem to care about how she ruined our night. Very poor service. We are regulars and never coming back now!

Chama Brazilian Bbq in Caringbah offers a $39 all you can eat barbecued meats, salads, fries,…read morevegetables and antipasto dishes. Although it's called a buffet, you don't even have to get out of your seat, the staff actually come around and offer you different dishes until you're full! We practically tried every dish on the menu from the range of beef on offer and we really liked the scotch fillet and balsamic beef kebab, but there are more than 5 variations of flavours. Meats are cooked whilst rotating over coals. This cooking method enables the meat to be tender, succulent and take on a nice charred flavour. The chicken was extremely succulent and in particular the lemon pepper and the honey soy fillets were superb. For the adventurous folk amongst us, chicken hearts are on offer! The pork belly was also a standout, and the crackling was as crunchy and salty as we like it. The meat comes sliced on platters and the staff serve you as much as you like. Some of the meat comes out on the traditional bbq skewers, cooked over the wood fired bbq and they carve it to your plate at the table. There's plenty of sides on offer and the Brazilian cheese bread/cheese puff is definitely at the top of that list. There's so much to choose from; fries, oven baked veg, bean salad, coleslaw, rocket and Parmesan salad, haloumi cheese, black beans and more! You are served a few sauces like Chama Churro, vinaigrette, green chilli and Parmesan, though you don't really need it with such nicely seasoned meat. We were told early to save space for dessert, and we were lucky we did because they have some lovely bbq pineapple and fried bananas (fritters) with cinnamon. Long bench seats and stools, the decor is casual. The staff have a lot of personality and really made us feel welcome. They do well at accomodating groups, the venue is ideal for any occasion including birthday celebrations, bucks night etc. A few were doing this when we were there.

The meat was cooked perfectly, the rump steak was absolutely fantastic which melted right in our mouths. We definitely had at least 10 servings of this during our diner! We also had a huge variety of food including the Rocket and Parma, Chicken sausage, Pepper beef, Chorizo, Cheese bread, Honey soy chicken, Halloumi and Lamb. The Grilled pineapple, sweet juicy and coated with cinnamon to add that extra flavour to seal the deal. The fried banana is a must! The crispy fried batter on the outside with the soft sweet banana wrapped inside. It was just the perfect way to end the feast.

Customer care is obviously not very…read moregood Good morning I just want to give some feedback in relation to our dinner last night. I don't always feel it 'right' to put feedback on public forums such as Facebook and TripAdvisor etc as sometimes you may be having a 'bad night' and one night does not reflect how things normally are. Last night myself, my partner and two friends dined at the Leichhardt restaurant. We have been coming here for years and love the place. However last night was really disappointing. We had food just come past us all night and when things finally got to us, it was the dry end bits and pieces that were left. We had missed out on things completely like a lot of the beef, squid, garlic bread and chicken thighs. The food that we did get was dried up and awful. We just basically ended up eating sides. It was a really disappointing experience last night as we were all looking forward to it and starved ourselves before hand. I am not sure what happened as normally we have a wonderful experience but last night was not one of them. We live in the eastern suburbs and there are other places we could have went to, but chose Braza and Leichhardt as it is normally really good.

The menu stated that the dressing could be made without anchovies, but I wasn't given a choice. The dressing I did end up getting was some sort of garlic aioli (not the typical American cesar). The salad came with parm, crutons, bacon and a soft boiled egg. I must say it call came together really well and the flavors were great. Veggies were fresh and well cleaned. I popped in on a Friday night and a live band was playing some bossa nova. A grest spot to chill with large groups. I'd be back to try their specialties.
