The clearance room prices were amazing, and although "just looking", we bought it on the spot! Steve wrapped it in plastic, and helped to load it into our truck. The next evening, we had trouble putting it back together, and thought there was a missing piece. Steve suggested we do a FaceTime call, and he demonstrated the way it worked, while we followed the steps from home. Problem resolved immediately! Steve really made our purchase a wonderful experience...over and above.

When I unboxed the coffee table, it was extremely red and 3 shades darker than my sideboard, I shade that would never be put out on a sales floor as an example. I contacted the Westminster store the following morning to see if I could exchange it for a lighter version speaking to Carlin. She told me there were 13 in stock in Washington for exchange and that would be hearing from the store manager the next day. It is a week and I still haven't heard back. Basically I'm being ghosted. After reading the other reviews online, I see that customer service is not a strong point of the Westminster store. I had to reach out to the main customer service line to hear that they would be unlikely to do this. While I understand that there are variations in color, rather than return it, I asked for an exchange. I haven't even removed the table from its box. The coffee table I got looks like a teak or mahogany wood and would never be used as a display. I have not had this kind of experience with exchanges from any other furniture store that I've shopped: west elm, cb2, room and board, you name it with . When you are shelling out this much money their policy should be on the check out page with transparency. Do not shop this store, they will drop you once they make the sale!!

We are thrilled to find a store that sells real wood furniture in a mix of styles and some with companies that can custom build with your choice of wood, finish, leg style, edge style, etc. We worked with Pete and Linda. The delivery guys were great, very careful with items.. True professionals, traditional quality service, great prices for higher quality furniture. Of note...while there may be some items that are good, better, best, the quality is overall higher than big box stores. Its very important to test the floor models out throughly to see if you like the feel of cushions, arms, back height etc. Some are made to be softer than others. We prefer harder cushions and straighter backs which is why we chose a custom Stanton sofa lounger. In response to Mr. GBCs post...yes if money is tight you can go to American Furniture and get cheaper items that will last only a few years. However if you shop at say Ashley or Sam Levitts, they charge thousands for poor quality furniture. The price with great sales offers I paid for soild wood furniture made in USA or another country was excellent for the item. To each their own.

Our Design Specialist was Lisa Burwick and our delivery driver was Chris B. We chose MAVIN brand chairs, which were manufactured to our specifications and delivered in about five weeks (much faster than promised). Woodley's is a high-end store, and the products are high quality and expensive. They tend toward modern rather than traditional styles, but have a good variety. The products are usually manufactured to your specifications rather than delivered from their warehouse, and may take two or three months to arrive. Because they are made for you, you can usually get any choice of finish and upholstery. In-store service is knowledgeable and unobtrusive. This is a huge store and they had in particular a large number of dining sets.

They would only make a refund with receipts which seems reasonable enough....but I did not have receipts because it's been a 2 month process (water damage recovery project) so I asked if he could work with me...I asked of he could tell they were their tiles from their store and he said yes. He would not work with me or call on a manager to help however. If he knew the tiles did in fact come from this store why wouldn't he take the extra step to work with me? It was about 8 tiles. Couldn't be bothered to ask a manager if they could work with me given that we had obviously bought a sizable tile order from them and given that the tiles obviously came from their store. He saved his employer $25 but lost a customer. I had driven quite a ways to get there. Not really customer service oriented. We did like the tiles we got from them however.

On the first phone call, he immediately provided several great ideas around potential materials and designs that we hadn't previously considered to help us build our perfect dining table while keeping the project within our budget. He also talked with us about our general design preferences and the choices we'd made elsewhere in our home to make sure that it would be a great fit for us. Based on those first conversations, we also asked him to build a matching credenza sized to fit our space, and both pieces came out even better than we had hoped. Drew was friendly, flexible, and communicative throughout, and took the time to make sure that everything would be exactly the way we wanted (including making a bunch of different wood stain samples for us to check out). The dining table is perfect for us - it has a beautiful modern mix of steel and oak that looks amazing while also being very solid (great since we have young kids), and it's perfect for entertaining.
