My garage door was stuck because of a sensor issue and the technician suggested replace the opener…read more We ultimately paid about $900 for a LiftMaster opener installation with new sensors. During the installation, I asked for the details of price cause the opener model is $300~$380 online. I understand that a professional installation costs more than buying the opener online, and I expected to pay for labor and service. I was trying to understand what I would pay for. However, the technician suddenly became visibly upset when I asked about the pricing. He raised his voice, and his tone became pretty aggressive. He argued that the online price is fake/impossible and the product online must by used/refurbished. Then he offered a $75 discount and said that at the discounted price he would essentially be doing the job for free and making no money. At that point, I didn't want to argue further because the installation had already started. We went ahead with the work, and the new opener is working properly. The experience left me uncomfortable with how my questions about pricing were handled. I would have appreciated a straightforward explanation of the equipment and installation costs instead.

The night before, my other garage door (which had been "repaired" by another company a few months prior) also broke. Dave offered to look at both doors. The job ended up being much larger than we originally discussed. The prior repair by the other company wasn't done well. There were also loose parts on both doors, which was a surprise to us all. Dave and his coworker took care of everything! They even fixed the wall opener button, which I had not mentioned and did not ask for. I was so grateful! The most impressive thing was that, despite the scope of the job being much larger, Dave honored his original quoted price. It's so rare to find a knowledgeable, honest, and friendly contractors these days. I'll be a loyal customer of Dave's from now on! I've also referred him to my friends

He charged me one time and exhausted all the possible reasons to diagnose the issue. When the problem persisted after our original service call, Dave came at no extra charge with Jeremy to re-wire my entire garage. Ultimately this didn't work either meaning our garage motor was shot (which we wouldn't have known if Dave didn't have the patience to try all the methods of fixing it and seeing if the problem persisted). We selected a reasonably priced commercial grade garage door replacement and had Jeremy install it in one hour. They even credited me the cost of my initial service call toward my new garage motor. Incredible customer relations showing how much they care. Now our new garage has all the bells and whistles with a camera and mobile app. We love it! In summary; they are fast, responsive, fairly priced and good people. Don't look elsewhere for your garage service needs!
