Has gotten better over the years and I want to acknowledge that. Food quality is excellent . Wish the local beer selection was wider , but room is great and they've hung in there. Hopefully service will continue to improve. Thank you for staying in Keller. read more

We came here for a Fathers Day Brunch and it was a very good choice. The menu items were fresh takes on old standards (prime rib Benedict) and great standbys (blueberry pancakes). My wife had the California Benedict and it is definitely worth trying. A combination of spinach, turkey, artichoke, and eggs Benedict sounds strange but they pulled it off to my wife's enjoyment. I had the prime rib Benedict and the meat was shaved nicely, not overcooked, and the eggs were done well. My daughter had blueberry pancakes and though a little light on the blueberries, they were very tasty. My toddler son had scrambled eggs and didn't throw them on the floor, so that's a win. The reason for four stars is that service was a bit slow, didn't get water refills but the gentleman was very nice. I'd definitely go back. Pro tip- they do take reservations but you have to call. read more

Best salmon I've had in the metroplex in the five years I've lived here. Atmosphere is casual enough that I could dine in the bar in my yoga clothes. read more

Fantastic food with a unique and varied menu. Tri-dip was fab and the specials of the day were even better. Try the chef's special enchiladas. So yummy! Will definitely go back. read more

My husband called a week ahead to make a lunch reservation for 7 people. When we got there, they had no record of our calling. The owner finally came up front to talk to us in a messy shirt and dirty long hair. He said they didn't have our reservation, and really didn't act like it mattered to him. Will not eat there again ever! Very poor customer service. read more

I absolutely love breakfast here! The whole place smells of maple bacon, and the open kitchen livens up the experience.

Great atmosphere, friendly knowledgeable staff with a menu with a great variety at very reasonable prices. Our burgers were outstanding. Highly recommend read more

After hearing neighbors rave, We dined at FnG Eats a few weeks ago. Don't know what the rave is about. I had pasta which had zero flavor, my had the special prime rib, excessive fat even for prime rib. No flavor. Service was poor. Noticing we both ate very little of our entrees the server never questioned if we were satisfied with our meals. Won't be back. read more

I wish I could give less than one star. I did have the opportunity to enjoy a meal. My first visit to the restaurant as a new resident of Keller. It is a Monday night at 7pm. The restaurant was more than 2/3rd empty. I requested a booth off to the side of the restaurant given that I have a slight hearing problem and prefer to sit on the perifiery the restaurant. It was explained to me that the booths are reserved for larger parties(yet they are set for four and there were other patrons with parties no larger than four seated). There were multiple booth open in fact. The manager who is also an owner explained that they "reserve" the booths for larger parties that "MIGHT" come in. Therefore turning down service requests to a patron that is actually there. They'd rather keep the table open, in case someone comes in...on a Monday night. Had this been a busy friday or Saturday and the restaurant was full it would have been perfect logic. I cannot believe the treatment. Perhaps this is why Colleyville and Southlake are worth the ten minute drive. Peace out F&G eats, your loss. I like to go out to eat...the place looked good. The management and service staff were dreadful.*** I have to offer an update. I ate with a friend who wanted to meet there a few nights ago and the food was excellent. I am still sour from my first experience though. We did feel rushed as they clearly don't like stragglers. I can not deny that heir prime rib and mashed potato special was very good. read more

What a great find! Super nice staff and chef ( he came and introduced himself). Food has been fantastic and fun. They have an amazing happy hour that happens EVERY day with lots of fun treats and drinks on it. Went for breakfast one day and lunch the next. We were NOT disappointed! read more

We have a family of six and we are always accommodated. Staff is great, place is clean and the food is Awesome! Brunch is pretty Amazing! The California Benedict - best choice! read more

This is a pretty solid choice for brunch. They have super good chicken & waffles, and their bloody Mary's are on point. I typically don't notice stuff like this, but the kitchen is located for everyone to watch the cooks prepare the food which I find a bit unique for a spot like this. The staff seems friendly and welcoming, so if you need to find a place to kick that weekend hangover, I'd go with FnG! read more

Wasnt horrible but wasn't that great either. Chose to eat here based on reviews and I personally think it's overpriced and meh. Didn't wow me. Drinks looked yummy, but not for $16 - ouch! read more

Came here before a movie. Blew off the movie just to stay and eat, because the menu looked interesting. Had dinner at the bar, the fish special and the chicken ... Both were equally delicious. Well cooked, fantastic sauce, great service ... Bar tender was friendly, knowledgeable and a delight to talk too. Met the owner/ chef, just by chance, and he was great. My wife and I will definitely be back. read more

We decided on FNG Eats because of the location knowing absolutely nothing about the resturant its self. It was AMAZING! Seriously delicious with great service!!! My husband had the Fish n Chips and I had the Turkey sandwich. His Fish n Chips was great, super crunchy and the chips were fabulous! Although the coleslaw had zero flavor ... neither of us could eat it. My sandwich was definitely the best though! Just thinking about it makes me crave Thanksgiving leftovers. Seriously the toasted bread with the turkey, cranberry, and veggies ... OH MY GOSH! Yum! The service was also just extremely wonderdul, we had a party of 13 and we all know large parties are tough! Not a single complaint from either of us or anyone else there. Should definitely be on your list to try!! read more

So disappointed. The burger that was supposed to be a buffalo burger was in fact just a cow burger and blah. The flat iron steak was drowned in brown sauce. The two kids meals were tasteless and the price for everything was ridiculously high for what it was. This is my third time coming here and will be my last. The quality has gone down substantially within the last year. The only reason it received 3 stars was because our waitress was super sweet. read more

Went for lunch, wasn't busy so I'm not sure why our food took forever to come out. Service was definitely lacking as well. The food looks like a great idea on paper, but is definitely not worth it, lacking flavor. read more

We really like the idea of local and fresh but this fell a bit short. The ambiance was nice, with a relaxed, authentic feel. The service was friendly but not quite attentive enough and we were not asked if we wanted a second drink. I had the salmon and it had good flavor, but it was over cooked and dry. My wife had the lobster macaroni and said it was a bit bland, to the point she was reaching for the salt shaker (which almost never happens). The portions were not also not overly generous. We will probably try it again, just not soon. To be clear, it was not bad - it just didn't meet expectations for the type of place it is trying to be. At $20+ dollars a dish, we just expected more. read more

I've been to F & G Eats dozens of times since it opened in Keller in 2012. I've always been satisfied with their service and the menu. The food is very good. I came to the nearly empty restaurant on April 1, 2019 (not a joke) during the afternoon. I've always like their specialty cocktails the bartenders create each month and ordered one along with my meal. Chef and co-owner Bob Stephenson was also there. Rather than saying hi or just acknowledging me he proceeded to berate the bartender as he was taking my order. There was evidently some mix-up as to who was supposed to clean one of the lines that runs from a cask to the spigot at the bar. The bartender said he never got the message. Shortly thereafter a couple more employees came in for their shift. So now there are 3 bartenders on hand. Mr. Stephenson then decides it would be a good time to bark at all three about how the wine display was out of order or something to that effect. The bartender who was serving me suggested to Mr. Stephenson that maybe they could continue the "discussion" out of earshot of the customer. I was sitting 10 feet away as Mr. Stephenson began slamming the bottles around. Needless to say this wasn't a pleasant experience for the employees or me, trying to eat my lunch/dinner. I suggested directly to Mr. Stephenson that he might want to take this to another location or just wait. He told me he didn't care what anyone thought about what he was doing. I suggested that a posting on the internet might change his mind. He said he didn't care and to go ahead and post it. He even told me what his name was. By this time the employees had exited to the other end of the restaurant. I got the rest of my meal boxed up and left. As Mr. Stephenson suggested I'm posting my experience. My advice is to call ahead next time you go to F & G to see what kind of mood Mr. Stephenson is in. read more

Second time coming back, service was much better. Food was still average. It's hit or miss depending on what you order. But it's good ingredients so it's always worth a shot. Bloody Mary's are still the best in the neighborhood. read more

We typically really enjoy FNG. Tonight was bad. Sry simple order of a burger with no bread took twice to come out and still came out with bread. Second time the meat was raw in the middle. Cook was very hateful. It's an open kitchen and we sat close by. read more

Awesome brunch!! Had the brisket eggs benedict which was delicious. Service was really good. I dont know why 7 mile cafe is packed every weekend and this place isn't. This breakfast was much better than 7 mile any day! I definitely suggest giving this place a shot. read more

Came here for lunch not knowing what to expect and I was delightfully blown away. The quality of food was the best I've had in town. Outstanding turkey sandwich!!! Wonderfully staff and service and beautiful ambiance.

Chef Carlos and Chef Bob are brilliant! If you haven't been in to try their Ma-hi Ma-hi - with Jasmine rice topped with the most delicious white wine and garlic sauce - you are missing out! The venison Chili Frito pie is amazing! I have had multiple items and have never once been disappointed - always more than what I expected! If you are around Keller or NFW - drop in for a delightful dining experience! - Their happy hour is also terrific BTW. -If you are looking for a private room for a meeting - FNG has a gem of a room in the back of the restaurant! read more

FnG Eats is our favorite place to eat in the Keller/Southlake area. The food is delicious. It's comfort food with a kick - somehow familiar to the taste buds but with incredible flavors and some awesome surprises. Our current favorites are The Bomb Chicken, Rosemary Chicken Salad, and the Gazpacho cold soup on Saturdays! We tend to end up at FnG about once a week. Love this place! read more

Had an amazing ladies' night here. Great food and drinks selection. The Bison burger with root chips were amazing. My 8 other girlfriends all loved their food as well. The martinis are great. The margaritas were too salty and not enough alcohol :) Bread pudding was OH SO YUMMY and the gorgonzola apple cheesecake was fresh, creamy and big in size. Will go back for brunch here! I hear it's just as great and they use fresh local produce. Great location as well! Awesome service! read more

Since we are always on the search for great homemade food... We hit one over the fence! The menu was enticing and the food did not disappoint. If you're quest is to experience great "real" food that isn't frozen and a menu that is original, professional and unique, you have to try this place! It checks all the boxes. Nice comfortable atmosphere, great service and wonderful food. I'm not sure why the review status is 3.5 stars. I think there has been a mistake. read more

I don't normally waste my time with restaurant reviews but unfortunately I left this place today feeling disrespected. I walked in and asked for a table for six and a highchair. Oh and let me say it's a Friday at 11:30. The place was empty except for two tables. The host says "sorry all we have are tables for 4 unless you want 2 separate tables." I look around and there are tons of booths open but no, no highchairs allowed at the booths. They're apparently not allowed to push 2 tables together either. Idk what kind of establishment would be set up this way. So he asks a woman to go "look" to see what they've got available and after she walks past 10 empty tables she just shrugs her shoulders and says "sorry." This experience was incredibly unfortunate and I know for a fact I won't waste my time again. So if you've got a party with more than 4 people or don't have a reservation in the middle of a weekday, don't bother read more

FnG is ok. I've been there twice. I think they are overthinking the food. Trying to be too creative with some things. The food was fine. Service was a little slow the first time I went. The second time, I never even got a refill of my tea. Generally places will at least come by once for a refill. read more

F&G hit a home run with this restaraunt. I'm in the neighborhood and have had the opportunity to eat here a number of times and the food and service have been great. Food is served in an upscale style while being priced very modestly, especially given the quality and their innovative takes on dishes that anyone will love (e.g, chicken fried venison). The daily specials have become my favorite though as the chefs show what they know. While they are super family friendly, it's not Applebees or Chilis so don't expect crayons or to let your kids run amok, (which is greatly appreciated). The bar offers signature, hand crafted cocktails. The Bloody Mary is one of the best I've ever had. The wine selection is broad and priced to sell. I was in recently and they had half-priced wine, by the bottle, during happy hour. It was more than one happy hour for me. A great addition to Keller and in my estimation on of the top three restaurants in the entirety of Keller, Southlake and Grapevine. You guess the other two. read more

Went to FnG last night.....had the taco app and my friend had the mini-mi. Both items left a lot to be desired. We have eaten there 3 times now and other than the fish and chips and Justin cab. by the bottle for a reasonable price.......... If this is going to be a neighborhood restaurant some simple apps and dinners might be something to add to the menu. (ie. grilled chicken, sliders made of Good beef) While I appreciate the "foodie' types of dishes occasionally, my normal diet consists of mostly fish and chicken. Most items on the menu are "smoked" which I don't care for, nor does my family; we live in walking distance and hope to frequent this restaurant but unless the menu starts to offer a bit more, not sure we won't keep driving to Southlake. read more

The food here is average to good, some items I really loved like the mussels with such great flavor and a good size for one. We were going to split the mussels but our server suggested to get our own which was perfect. The fish was a bit bland but not bad. We usually do not get dessert but we enjoyed the ambiance so much we decided to endulge. Not to mention the happy hour with 1/2 priced bottles of wine... read more

First time here and Hunter was our waiter. He was fantastic. Definitely recommend asking to be seated at one of his tables. The goat cheese appetizer was divine and my prime rib was great. My friend got the pot roast which is what I will be getting the next time I am here. My sister got the grouper which was very tasty as well. Our cocktails were great - recommend the blood orange fireball. All in all it was a very good meal. A+ service. read more
