While he had the car he sent updates on when he ordered parts, when they arrived at the shop and how far along he was with the work. This was critical for me as I had to drive back to Chicago in a rental and needed to coordinate when I'd make the drive back to Cincy to pick up my car. The car is like new. I felt a little nervous driving it back right after getting the work done but it performed great on the road and I made it back to Chicago with no issues. I wish he was based in Chicago so I could take the car to him with any future issues. Hopefully we never get stranded in Cincy again, but if we do I find some peace in knowing we have someone great to take it to.

Unfortunately, the spare tire wasn't tightened (Which I didn't realize). I stopped twice on my way home to double check to be sure I didn't have a second flat tire. I only drove the car home that Saturday, and my husband drove it Monday morning to have the tire replaced. It didn't go any other place. My husband also thought he had a flat. When we took it to be replaced, the service tech sent us a video of how loose the tire was. Well, the loose tire damaged the tire studs. We had to pay $406 to have new tire rods put on. We have a video showing the loose tire, an invoice from the service department saying the damage was from the spare tire not being tightened. AAA and Lifta refuse to reimburse us for the $406. Sad that the tech was so nice, but this is terrible service.

It had just rained, once it dries up the marks will stand out even more on the bright concrete. The apologetic driver called the woman at the office and gave me the phone. She was very unsympathetic, did not care at all. She spoke smugly and offered no solution. I have never had a company treat me with such disrespect. I just wanted to give a little shout out to Jess'n'sons: I was actually helping a friend out of town on vacation after their car was towed from the street. The situation was pretty lame: there was 24 hours 'no parking' notice for a public service, our friends were out of town already - and, as most impound lots are - there's a daily charge once your towed. We arrived to pick up the car, and it was a little difficult to find the office at first, but once I found it, the staff was friendly. They were kind amidst the frustrating circumstance, and even knocked a little off the bill of keeping the car because of the situation. Cool. So, again - if you're going to be impounded for a silly ticket, these are your guys.
